App Connect

Building an App Connect connector for a CRM that isn’t officially supported yet. Everything runs end-to-end locally, but I’m stuck on auth. The API requires an AppKey that’s only been issued to RingCentral, and I’ve been told to go through them to get access. Has anyone dealt with this kind of setup before? Is the right move going through their partner program, or is there a lighter path for connector development? Any insights appreciated.

In the middle of calling customers, I got a user not found error message.  I tried clearing removing the ring central app connect, clearing cache, turning off computer, downloading the ring central app connect extension.  Now I get a failed to register api key when I try to connect ring central to insightly.

Is there a native app to integrate with JobDiva?

Good afternoon, We have a few users that are having issue with Ring Central app Connect extension in Bullhorn. The icon showed up when they first logged into bullhorn. However after 1 or 2 calls, the icon disappeared. They had to close and reopened browser for the icon to show up again. The issue is happening in both Google Chrome and Edge. Below is what I did.• Uninstalled and reinstalled the App Connect extension.• Tested on a different browser (Google Chrome)• Refreshed the Chrome extension to ensure it’s running the latest version (v1.1.4 or higher)• Disabled or removed other browser extensions.• The Ring App Connect was still running after two calls but the icon when I hovered my mouse over was not there. I couldn’t initiate a call since the icon was no longer there.Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Starting last week (about the 8th or 9th of April) we have an issue that’s appeared.  We are using Netsuite as our CRM, and when an agent has the RingCentral AppConnect plugin enabled in their browser every time they enter a part number into a sales order or quote, it will show a lot of extra information. For example the part: WET-4410331 will become: WET<rc-c2d-number data-c2d-context="{"phoneNumber":"-4410331"}" style="color: rgb(238, 238, 238);">-4410331</rc-c2d-number> FRONT OVER THE HUMP FLOOR LINER 23-25 S/DUTY EXTENDED/CREW CAB Everything still works fine, it’s just very annoying for our agents.  As soon as we disable the AppConnect plugin, everything works fine.Any suggestions?

I can not use Facetime with my personal contacts because Ringcentral wont allow it

I can’t connect my GHL it says here “Could not load user information” please help

We have two releases to catch the community up on, including a look back at our recent stable deployment and the latest improvements to our beta channel.Stable Channel: Versions 1.6.27 & 1.6.28Version 1.6.27 was officially released on April 5 - we apologize for the delay in getting news of the release out.. This update introduced significant functional improvements, followed closely by 1.6.28 to address specific dialing connectivity.Key Updates: Clio Integration: Added a new setting for Clio that allows users to enable or disable time entry manually. Bullhorn Fix: Resolved a click-to-dial issue that was affecting users on the Bullhorn platform (implemented in v1.6.28). Contact Management: Fixed a bug regarding the "refresh contact" action when attempting to sync a deleted contact. Messaging: Resolved an issue where the Click-to-SMS button was not responding correctly. Beta Channel: Versions 1.7.21 & 1.7.22For those running our beta builds, these versions include the fixes

An end user using the extension is having issues. I reinstalled the extension and connected to BH, but the red web phone error keeps showing (even though permissions are granted in the browser). End user can’t use it now for calling

We are missing greatly with the App Connect Bullhorn integration the ability “Copy Note” to “Replace the General Candidate Comments with this note?” when entering Prescreens from RingCentral’s App Connect. Wouldn’t want to copy the entire AI transcription with the Copy Note, but we had this feature with CloudCall and it worked great for Bullhorn. Is this possible with App Connect?

Still having issues where SMS capabilities for both in/outbound are not working.

I just encountered the same problem that was addressed about 1 year ago ( https://community.ringcentral.com/app-connect-22/failed-to-get-api-key-in-redtail-crm-9898?tid=9898&fid=22) - Trying to connect Redtail CRM (No other redtail product) to Ringcentral on the Ringcentral App Connect. I TYPED my working REDTAIL credentials into the fields and it still returned the 2 messages “Failed to Register API key” and “User not found”. I have this working on my old laptop, which I am retiring. This is happening on my new desktop where I do have Ringcentral operating already. I have downloaded the 2 chrome extensions already. Help Please

How can I take the contacts already stored inside RingCentral and import them into the newly created google sheet made through the ring central integration for google sheets?

With the new RingCentral extension, I can no longer hover over a telephone number and dial on websites including my CRM. Can you fix it?

using chrome- the connection is complete, however the app connect will not allow me to login to redtail.  Keeps saying that username is not found and api not set.  Redtail says they are good on their end, and we even verified my username and password.  HELP!

Hey, Team! We’ve received reports that Click-to-Dial is sometimes matching non-phone numbers — things like IDs, timestamps, or other numeric sequences — and attempting to dial them. Thank you to everyone who flagged this. What happenedWe expanded our matching logic to better support international phone formats. Unfortunately, that change was overly aggressive and is causing some non-phone numeric text to be recognized as phone numbers. Why this is trickyRecognizing phone numbers reliably across the globe is a hard problem. Numbers appear everywhere (IDs, dates, order numbers, etc.), and formats vary widely by region. Broadening matching to catch more international patterns increases the risk of false positives. What we’re doingWe’re investigating the root cause and evaluating a more systematic approach that balances international support with precision. Engineering is rolling out targeted fixes and testing improvements to the matching logic to reduce false positives without losing interna

My customer service reps keep seeing an error message says there is a 4000 character limit causing the transcript and notes to fail to log. If this is actually a thing, this tool is not working. I would say a good 75% of our agent calls are longer than 5 minutes and some may last upwards of an hour. 4000 characters is easy to exceed and I watched 2 separate calls have this pop up and now no records were stored in NS. Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or offer some insight on this? Thanks!

One of my users… his RingCentral App Connect won’t log SMS messages in Pipedrive. It does for other users, such as myself. What could the problem be? Some sort of permission?

While these changes are mostly "under the hood," they address some specific pain points you’ve shared with us.What’s New - stable version (v1.6.23)Call Pop Fix: We’ve resolved the recurring issue with contact call pops to ensure they trigger reliably. What’s New - App Connect 2.0 beta (v1.7.18)Everything in 1.6.23 plus: Group SMS Logging: You can now keep track of group conversations directly within your logs. I am getting the error of DetailsPlease check if your account has permission to CREATE logs.So are my employees, but they were able to log calls last week so was i, nothing changed, i can not do it even with that, i am signed as as Admin role for both Netsuite and RC. Dont know what else i could do

Calls and texts are not consistently auto-logging into Bullhorn. It will sometimes update a few entries but not all. These entries are in Bullhorn and can be added. For example, it logged a call from a candidate, but did not log the text. This is happening for a majority of our employees.

Hey everyone! We’ve just rolled out a minor update to App Connect to smooth out a few bumps some of you have been reporting. These are primarily stability fixes, so things should be running a bit more reliably now. What’s NewWe’ve pushed updates for both our Stable and Beta channels: Stable: Version 1.6.22 Beta: Version 1.7.15 Bug Fixes SMS Logging: We’ve resolved a bug where the app was occasionally logging the same SMS messages repeatedly. Your logs should now be much cleaner and more accurate. Webpage Access: Fixed a specific Mixpanel token issue that was inadvertently blocking access to certain webpages. You should be able to browse without interruption again.

Is there a way the call & SMS logger can log those actions as an “Task” instead of an “Event” in Insightly?
