App Connect

Hey, Team! We’ve received reports that Click-to-Dial is sometimes matching non-phone numbers — things like IDs, timestamps, or other numeric sequences — and attempting to dial them. Thank you to everyone who flagged this. What happenedWe expanded our matching logic to better support international phone formats. Unfortunately, that change was overly aggressive and is causing some non-phone numeric text to be recognized as phone numbers. Why this is trickyRecognizing phone numbers reliably across the globe is a hard problem. Numbers appear everywhere (IDs, dates, order numbers, etc.), and formats vary widely by region. Broadening matching to catch more international patterns increases the risk of false positives. What we’re doingWe’re investigating the root cause and evaluating a more systematic approach that balances international support with precision. Engineering is rolling out targeted fixes and testing improvements to the matching logic to reduce false positives without losing interna

My customer service reps keep seeing an error message says there is a 4000 character limit causing the transcript and notes to fail to log. If this is actually a thing, this tool is not working. I would say a good 75% of our agent calls are longer than 5 minutes and some may last upwards of an hour. 4000 characters is easy to exceed and I watched 2 separate calls have this pop up and now no records were stored in NS. Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or offer some insight on this? Thanks!

One of my users… his RingCentral App Connect won’t log SMS messages in Pipedrive. It does for other users, such as myself. What could the problem be? Some sort of permission?

Calls and texts are not consistently auto-logging into Bullhorn. It will sometimes update a few entries but not all. These entries are in Bullhorn and can be added. For example, it logged a call from a candidate, but did not log the text. This is happening for a majority of our employees.

Hey everyone! We’ve just rolled out a minor update to App Connect to smooth out a few bumps some of you have been reporting. These are primarily stability fixes, so things should be running a bit more reliably now. What’s NewWe’ve pushed updates for both our Stable and Beta channels: Stable: Version 1.6.22 Beta: Version 1.7.15 Bug Fixes SMS Logging: We’ve resolved a bug where the app was occasionally logging the same SMS messages repeatedly. Your logs should now be much cleaner and more accurate. Webpage Access: Fixed a specific Mixpanel token issue that was inadvertently blocking access to certain webpages. You should be able to browse without interruption again.

Is there a way the call & SMS logger can log those actions as an “Task” instead of an “Event” in Insightly?

Would be exceptional if server side logging was enabled for SMS as well. Is that being discussed?

Hello!I would like to clarify how the RingCentral App works in the browser.I initially thought I could use this widget as a supporting tool to properly connect RingCentral with our CRM system (Pipedrive). I received several different setup articles from support, but I still can’t understand how to configure it in order to achieve the result I need. The main issue is that we manage all leads and contacts inside Pipedrive, and we need to track incoming calls and messages there. Sometimes call logs appear, but I cannot make it work in a way where an incoming call or incoming message automatically creates a new contact in Pipedrive.I contacted Pipedrive support, and they explained that for this to work, RingCentral must create or send some kind of trigger/action into Pipedrive (such as an Activity, Contact, Deal, or another record). Without that, it is impossible to build the automation inside Pipedrive.I have already enabled all logging options and configured the call log settings, but it

Hi all,I’m based in Ireland and I’m trying to set up GoHighLevel with RingCentral for a single sub-account/location.We originally looked at WhatsApp inside GHL, but it’s not practical for our customers because it can interfere with their existing WhatsApp Business setup (clients don’t want to disconnect or risk losing their current setup/history). So we want to use RingCentral for calling + SMS instead. What I’ve done: Installed/connected the RingCentral ↔ GoHighLevel CTI/App Connect integration (it shows as connected) Upgraded to RingCentral Premium Bought a Dublin number in RingCentral What I’m trying to achieve (main goals): Missed call → automatic SMS text-back (sent from the client’s RingCentral number) Review request texts (after a job/call, send an SMS with a review link from the client’s number) Ideally still have activity tracked in GoHighLevel (contacts/pipeline), but SMS can be sent by RingCentral Where I’m stuck / confused: After integrating, I’m not sure what the co

RingCentral App Connect No Longer Shows Clio Matters (Only Contacts) after the Latest Update. Is someone going to fix this thing?

Would RingCentral consider creating an itegration for Tessitura CRM.

Please help me connect RingCentral to Clio. For three months, the app has been unable to log calls or connect.

Good Afternoon.I’ve been watching the App Connect video/webinar from 10 April (Thank you Byrne and Becky for the webinar.) We’d like some help integrating our NowCerts CRM to RingCentral. Who do we get started?~Stephanie

We’ve had multiple users set up using RC Connect for NetSuite for months and it’s been working fine. All of the sudden today, users cannot connect. Users who were already logged in this morning are okay, but as soon as they log out it wont log them back in. On the browser app extension, they are “logged in” and able to make calls; however, in the settings on the browser app, it warns them to “connect to NetSuite”. You click the “connect” button, put in the RC credentials, and it just cycles back to where it keeps telling you to connect. We need it to be connected, otherwise none of the activity is logged in the CRM.Spent an hour on the phone with RC support; they gave me the NetSuite phone number and said it was an Oracle developer's issue. Except that Oracle did not create this app. I had this issue with 1 or 2 users when we were setting it up, but it was a role setting (subsidiaries access), that we resolved. Nothing has changed with our NetSuite settings, or any other settings, that
