LOGS Inside admin portal there are CALL LOGS, RECORDING LOGS AND FAX LOGS but somehow there are NO TEXT LOGS NO TEXT HISTORY NO TEXT INFO in TMOBILE PHONE CARRIER for example one can log in to one's account and see the TEXT LOG for every outgoing & incoming text plus time date duration & exact details of the text . With RC VOIP this should be an easy 123 basic option.

How do we get a full recording of a call that includes transfers either in a queue or out of a queue? I have recording turned on for the queue and I have incoming and outgoing call recording setup for the users in the queue. However, it appears that when they do a transfer, the call recording ends. Is there a way to get the entire recording so we can track the entire customer experience?

I have a call/ring group, such that calls will go to my smart phone app and physical phone at the same time. If I have my phone out and lock the screen before putting the phone in my pocket, and someone just happens to call, they'll get routed to voicemail right away as if I was hanging up on them by locking my screen. I don't want customers to think I'm avoiding their calls or have to explain this to them every time it happens (it's happened a few times in the last month). Is there a way to disable this (let calls go 20 seconds before V/M always)?

Hello,We are currently working on an application that involves consuming the RingCentral API, specifically this endpoint.Our application has a feature to indicate when a chat message has been edited by comparing the `creationTime` and `lastModifiedTime` fields. However, we've noticed that when a reaction is added to a message, it alters the `lastModifiedTime` of the post, which leads our application to incorrectly indicate that the post has been edited.I understand that the API currently does not support reactions, but is there a particular reason why a reaction changes the `lastModifiedTime`? Can this behavior be adjusted on your end so that reactions do not change the `lastModifiedTime`, or is there another endpoint or method we can use to more accurately determine if the text of a message has been edited?Any assist

Does anyone know RingCentral's official RTO & RPO figures? I need this to for my business insurers and our BCP. RTO - Recovery Time Objective and RTO Recovery Point Objective.I dont want to know how well the system/platform has performed. I need to know if/when the system goes down how long will it take for Ringcentral to restore service and once restored how much data will I loose.

I have 40+ employees that I'd like to text regularly via our desktop app. I see no way to create text groups of more than 10. Furthermore, I'd like to send all the texts to this group individually so they don't see who received or each other's response. All doing so without having to reenter 40 names each time. Can I accomplish this?

I can't figure out how to get a detailed download of call volume by hour for a period of time (like 6 months). The graph below is as close as I can get, but there is no way to easily see the hours.

I have Verizon for my cell service and have continuous 5G coverage all over the Phoenix area. As soon as I answer a call on my RC app, my 5G drops and so does the call. This has angered MANY customers, so much that I have lost business. Verizon says it is not an issue with their service, but with the RC app itself. Is there a setting on my phone or on the mobile app that I need to adjust?

I saw this question was asked back in 2016 and someone said they would add it to future feature requests (or something like that) - Do we have an update and has this feature been added? New to ring central.I work for a mfg. company for sales and tech and we have a queue for the incoming tech calls.Average around 30-50 calls per hour.After a call is finished there is a 30 second pause until the next call appears.Is there a way to control this pause? Can i disable it or turn it on as I need it?Sometimes I want to answer the calls and get people taken care of ASAP and the 30 second pause makes the process take forever.To control this pause between calls would be a gamechanger.Any help is appreciated.

After a call ends, I get a green button in the RingCentral for Windows desktop application asking if I want to switch call to this device.There isn't another active call. If I click the "Switch" button, it tries to perform the action but I just encounter dead air. The phone number listed in the popup changes over time (often, it's the number from my last call).If I do nothing, the green button will often disappear on it's own.Anyone else encounter this? Suggested solutions?P.S. Already rebooted, so that isn't a solution. ;-)

Our employees keep getting a message that pops up saying that a certificate is not trusted. The certificate is issued by GoDaddy. Is their a reason we keep getting these messages? Is it safe to ignore them? Should we be clicking "Trust Anyway"?The message says: Untrusted Server CertificatesYou attempted to access a server (rcm.ringcentral.com) with a certificate that is not trusted. Trusting this certificate may reveal your personal information to attackers.Error code:-205View Certificates (clickable text)Then it gives us the option to "Don't Trust" in blue or "Trust Anyway" in white. We aren't sure what to do. We also use certificates on our website, but I think this is unrelated because when I click the "View Certificates" text it shows me a GoDaddy certificate assigned to RingCentral.

Are there plans to enable threaded conversations in the message module of the RingCentral app in the future (similar to what's available in Microsoft Teams)?

Since February simultaneous ring has not worked on one of my two lines. Countless calls to the new "Eastern Europe" Support have failed to resolve this. Calls to Billing result in some clearly personal voicemail in a foreign language sounds like Slovakian saying leave a message I will call you back. Sorry RC, after about 15 years of outstanding service you have gone down hill this year.

I am using NodeJS Ring Central SDK to send text messages.I am sending 202 characters long message to the recipient but the recipient receives only 153 characters of text messages instead of receiving the full-text message.After sending a message in the app.ringcentral.com portal text history shows a error with the text "Message not sent".How can I solve this issue?

We are in desperate need for our office manager to see who is active on a call, who is on do not disturb, who is out of the office, working from home, etc. Is there a way to have everyone listed on a HUD with their "presence" or is there another option through Ring Central? Or if not, can anyone recommend a third party option.

I am using the API to download messaging data but it is telling me that the user needs "Users" permission. The call works fine with my sandbox account as I am set up as an admin and I have confirmed that the user permission is required by temporarily changing the sandbox user to a role that does not have user permissions and getting the same error. I am just curious why it is a required permission for message-store and it is not listed in the documentation. I am able to get call-log and pstn-call-log info without needing that permission so why is it needed for messages? We are TCR registered to be able to send text messages, when applying for our brand we submitted specific use cases to be able to send text messages containing a URL so our business partners can log their location with us. Recently RingCentral has blocked these from going out, originally stating URL shortner was not compliant but we are not using a shortner. It turns our RingCentral is marking these as SPAM and will not send out. Has anyone else experienced this issue where RC blocks outbound text? Does anyone have any experience with having ring central "whitelist" these text so they send? Its frustrating as we spend 6 months getting TCR approved only to have this happen.

I was trying to find out the length of park from detailed call log. I found three calls that were parked and the length of the park via the analytics page.I tried the same using the detailed call log but the info doesn't seem to exist.Can you help me find out please?

I can receive calls with now errors and can actually complete the call, but I can't make outbound calls (When calling some numbers the respond is "the number you dialed can't be reached" or something like this and sometimes it does not do anything.Client ID = jfEaGJSpQgaMYwr8Q-O1Zg

This may seem like a minor issue but our providers waste hundreds of minutes a month explaining to patients who aren't that tech savvy how to unmute themselves and start their video. Sometimes it can take 5 minutes which is very frustrating. Any solutions for this?
