Hello,We are having an issue where calls are not being forwarded to the next person in the call queue if the primary answerer is on DND.What we want: -if person A either doesn't pick up OR is on DND, the call rings to person B-if person B also doesn't pick up, it goes to voicemail Right now, if person A is on DND, then it just goes to A's voicemail and doesn't ring to B. Here are the settings I have under Call Handling - Missed calls: -if set to "Voicemail" then it functions as above, and the call is not forwarded if person A is on DND-if set to "Forward to extension", it does rings from one person to the next but it will never go to voicemail if person B doesn't pick up. The actual "ringing" the caller hears goes away after the allotted number of rings for person B, but the call still shows connected for the caller, and never goes to Voicemail.Does anyone ha

I have a user who works from home and was never assigned an extension or number. She wants a number now so that she won't be giving out her personal number every time. She came in and showed me her RingCentral app and she was signed in. When I got to the admin portal I cannot not find her anywhere. I tried creating a user but it gives me the "email already in use". How can I find her account? The only way I can search is through the "Users with extensions" but she was never assigned an extension. Thanks

I have downloaded the RC Phone App and swapped to the Sandbox URL, and logged in to the App using my Sandbox Credentials however the RC Phone App in Sandbox still says it is N/A.

Hi, I'm having trouble finding how and to enable automatic recording from my admin portal, moreover, is there a way to change this setting using API request?Furthermore, I can't make phone calls to using web-phone JS library. Every time I call a number it says the number you dialed is temporary unavailable, this goes for every number I try to call, and when I try to call from ringCentral platform it says Sorry, you can only make calls to your coworkers' extensions. This has been a long (multi-year) issue, that we have just recently confirmed with RC tech support. From our RC account we can send long sms messages (longer than 160 char), but we cannot properly* receive them ever.By "proper", I mean that all long text messages received from most canadian carriers that are longer than 160 char (approx), are received as multiple messages and usually in the wrong order. With several months of testing with RC tech support, they finally acknowledged that RC does not support the sms technology that all Canadian carriers use as their standard for identifying the order of long messages so that they can be "reconnected" in the proper order and then delivered and displayed as a single message (as it was sent).RC tech support has acknowledged this, but yet they will not provide any estimate of when it will e supported properly, OR any commitment that they are even planning to. Over the last few weeks, our company has been having small little "blips" on our Polycom VVX500 devices. During these blips, company-wide an error is thrown on our Polycom saying "Line Unregistered" and we are unable to make or receive calls. These blips last for about 30 seconds, and then things go back to normal on their own. My laptop is connected to the internet via ethernet, straight from the Polycom device. Our main number has been approved for TCR campaigns, but i do not see any way to view/send SMS from our Main Company Number. How do I do this?

My newest user is unable to reset her own password. Whenever she asks to reset it, a request goes to our admin email even though her email address is associated with the account. We want her to be able to have control over her own user info - how do we give her permission to change her own password?

I have a general voicemail box set up for our main company number. When I sign in and go to phone > voicemail, it only shows the voicemail associated with my number and not the main company number/general voicemail box. How do I access this?

Hi, I'm writing a microservice for my web application that will use the RC API to automatically make calls to phone numbers that appear in the list in real time.The calls will be made through the RC Windows app (not through the browser extension).How can I make it so that a new request to the API is not made until the active call in the app completes? And the line in the app can be busy not only with outgoing calls from my app, but also with outgoing calls outside of my app, and incoming calls.Is there any way to get the line status of a specific RC account or a specific RC windows app to block the ability to make new calls while the current line is busy?

Hi, When I'm not using my mobile phone and a call comes though, my only option is 'swipe to answer'. This compares to when I am using the phone and options are the red 'X' which sends the call to voicemail and a blue checkbox to answer the call.How do I change the moble app function to enable me to quickly send a caller to voicemail?

I recently inherited our RingCentral account and recently formatted and added a polycom phone to our system. On this new phone it has 6 lines available and all of them are displaying the users name. On other phones on our system it is only showing the first 2 lines with the users name. I'm not able to change the settings on the phone because the password gets changed to something I don't know on the phone and I'm not able to remote connect to the phones IP address. I also see for this user, in their presence, they are showing only 2 lines with their name. Is this a local phone setting I can adjust or is the setting somewhere on the RC Admin portal? Is there a section in the RC Admin portal that I can see the config settings to find the password and/or reset it?

I have a php page that queries for active calls every 5 seconds. I want to get incoming calls and updating my database with existing calls, whether it was answered/missed, how long the call was ect. It works great for 10 queries then will not allow further queries until after a time has passed. I am assuming there is a limit to the number of queries allowed. I am in sandbox mode. Will this limit change when the App goes into production mode? Is there a way to automatically open a url when a call comes in on rings end. Any help would be appreciated.

when our front desk calls one of our extensions the recipient will hear the phone ring but the caller doesn't hear a ring on the line. the caller just hears dead air until the recipient picks up or it goes to voice mail. I can't seem to find a cause or a solution. this also happens when a call is transferred to the recipient.

Ring Central's Admin Portal is a scam and also the Setting up TCR registration and assigning numbers to your SMS campaigns (ringcentral.com) where it doesn't even say anything about the delay it would take for provisioning numbers. In Admin Portal, it says it would take a couple of hours but how long does Ring Central's "couple of hours" take?I already assigned the numbers to the campaigns which are already registered, so I waited for the ETA that the 4 Customer Support from the TCR Ring lines that I've talked to which they said 2-3 hours. And guess what? It is still not even now (7 hours) and we can't use our SMS on Ring. Now, talking to their supervisor and they told me it would take 72 hours.
