I have a ticket open already but wondering if this is isolated to our organization. Emails going out via @rcfax.com appear to not be processed by RingCentral. Looking through the logs on our email servers I show the emails being received by RingCentral's SMTP server and getting back a 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as XXXXXXXX. Faxes sent via the app is working but is not an acceptable solution for us as all faxes must be archived.

Hi!I use telephony session events to collecting data about calls.I noticed that there are two different ways as going call transfer from RingCentral App and Deskphone (Polycom VVX 350 for example).In next two cases I calling from customer's phone number to Main phone number and enter extension number, then I accept this call o and transfer it to another extension.First case:When I call to Extension and pick up call from App, then transfer it to another extension, in telephony session notifications I see that new call started from caller to second extension, then 1st call is over. When 2nd call is over I see notification that inbound call from customer's number to 2nd extension is over.Second case:When I call to Extension and pickup Call from Deskphone and then transfer it to another extension, in telephony session notifications I see that 1st call on hold, then 1st extension is calling to 2nd extension and creating ext-to-ext call. When 2nd call is over I see only that ext-to-e

We have an organization with two separate entities on location. The secondary entity has a direct line and is forwarded to it's director. But the director also fields calls for the primary entity and needs a way to differentiate the incoming calls. Any ideas?

I am using custom integration between Salesforce and RingCentral and need to have different phone number for each user for sending sms. Got an error : Phone Number doesn`t belong to extention

Is there a way to add additional phone numbers/extensions to my RC user so I can send text messages from the app on behalf of another person within our user group?

We have a fax-only account, with up to 25 users able to send faxes via email. We hired a new person today, and when I went to add them to the list through 'outbound fax settings', the list of email addresses isn't there. How can I add new users? Also, possibly related, it seems that outgoing email faxes aren't going. Two of us tried. Nothing showed up in outbox or sent, no confirmations were received. It was working last week. Any ideas?

I want to allow for creator only, to edit the task details: title, team, assignee, due date/time, e.t.c.Or, how to disable the Edit task for everyone but creator ?Thank You.

We have some users who are not showing up in the company directory in the App or Mobile App. I tried following https://support.ringcentral.com/app/admin/desktop-web/managing-company-directory-ringcentral-online-account.html but the options to Include in Company Directory are not on my admin portal.Is there anything I am missing?

I've create a subscription webhook for event filter = '/restapi/v1.0/glip/tasks', but didn't get eny events on create/delete/update a task. Why ?

I'm building a SIP integration that controls calls. I would like to use one extension to control a lot of calls. I would like to have 10, 20, 30 or possibly 100 calls active on a single extension using my SIP integration.Is it possible to allow a single extension to have more lines? I'd be willing to pay extra for that extension.

How to authenticate the app with a super admin user in order to receive voicemail event notification for other users than oneself(Webhook Subscription)?

We have a small work from home call queue group (4 members). All members are using the RC phone app on their PC. All members logged in and show available in service web and in Live Reports. Inbound delivery is set to Rotating. Calls are sitting in queue but members phones are not ringing. Call shows as a missed call in members call log even though it was never delivered to their softphone.Anyone have thoughts :)

Fraud occurred on one of our phone extensions. Tried to communicate with the Fraud department for two days in order to remedy the situation with the phone extension and to ensure that fraud does not occur in the future. Opened a ticket in the portal and it was closed without resolution and have sent multiple emails to the fraud department as well as waiting on hold for hours only to be told that the rep that is assigned is unavailable. Can someone please help?

I am looking to be able to leverage the ringcentral app to make paging easier. I would like to be at to type out a page message and then use text to speak to read it over the speakers. For example, type "@ #### (paging group number) Tina you have a call on Park 1" I am not sure if this is even feasible or where to start with developing it.

Hi! I have a user's missed calls section set to go to an IVR menu where a caller can subsequently choose if they'd like to hold, be transferred to a different user, or be transferred to that user's voicemail. I'm testing and I've chosen the voicemail option. The voicemail message plays, but I cannot leave a voicemail. Any way to fix this?

I'm porting or transferring a number (561-314-4575) from Google Voice to RingCentral. I already have an account with Ring Central with I think 2 numbers I haven't used at all (new account).On the transfer step by step it asks for my billing phone number and then below I can type in the 20 numbers I wish to transfer.What number do I type in the billing phone number box? One of the Ring central ones? Or the Google Voice one? I think I need to put the 561-314-4575 (the one I want to transfer) one in the box (that takes up to 20 numbers). I can't put it in both.

Hi Guys,I've switched my application from development to production and changed appropriate credentials ... but I'm finding the WebHook subscription fails now even though it's exactly the same url that worked fine in developmentI know I'm connecting to the production ring central url properly because I can establish a connection with the new credentials, receive an access token, get a list of the account's extensions etcBut, when I try and create my subscription, I get a 400 Bad Request result with exactly the same code, callback url that worked fine beforeIs there something different that needs to be done with WebHooks in production mode?Thanks for the help.Matt

Hi,If I call from Application to invalid number, for example +17777777777, call failed with short beeps. And in session event notification will be prompt a reason.But if I do the same from Deskphone there no reason in notification. Hi all,I need some assistance with login-logout flow with OAuth login flow.As the user I want:1. Login with one account.2. Logout3. I am getting unexpected subscriptions created daily at 3AM (probably the result of a cron job) from an unknown source (but probably a previous developer). So I want to reset the client secret, without disruption the production app. How can I do this? Alternatively, is it possible to identify the origin of where the subscriptions are being created?

Hello!This may be a far fetched question, but I was wondering if anyone was familiar with connecting their RingCentral api data with PowerBI? I am currently in process of trying to build a custom connector in PowerBI that uses M language code. My org uses mandatory SSO and I am making sure the grant_type is "authorization_code", but unfortunately I receive an invalid grant type error.Would anyone happen to have any knowledge or experience connecting data to PowerBI or maybe even SSIS?

Within the RingCentral University "Admin (MVP Advanced)" training course, there are two videos titled "Dedicated Call Parking" and "Setting Up Park Location Groups" respectively. As near as I can figure, these videos cover the same information. Is this intentional? If not, would you consider removing one of them?(It's also possible that I'm missing an important distinction between the videos.)

I have just downloaded the RingCentral app for my job on my iOS device. Unfortunately it seems the app does not work with an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I can log in, until I need to put in the security code then I get an error message that says, can't recognize the device.
