Hi there!I recently signed up for high volume SMS and I was wanting to find out if we can disable the option to receive replies via text messages. I was told that this was possible however, during the test we did, we still got received a text message.

I'd like to demote the original super admin user to a regular user and then promote another user to the position. I thought it was tied to the extension, but changing their extension didn't affect anything.

I need to write a Visual Basic subroutine that pulls the company call log entries, for a set interval (like, 1 hour) and puts the contents into a DataGridView. I have tried converting the C# example but I get stuck.

We have several pc's getting their network connectivity through the Polycom VVX450 phones and normally haven't had any issues with network performance. After over two years one pc started experiencing poor network performance. We direct connect the pc to the network jack and performance is back to normal. We've tried another phone and performance is degraded. Removed the NIC card and reinstalled. Ran firmware updates. Changed ports on the switch. No errors are showing up in the switch log. Changed patch cables. Nothing seems to resolve the problem. Unfortunately due lack of wiring this pc is forced to go through the phone for network connectivity. Has anyone else every experienced this issue and if so how did you resolve it?Any input would be appreciated.Thank you,

I wish to list files to play in the PlayLog action in Studio. We use PlayLog action for queueing in Studio, but we want to play several files like in the Play action.

Are there keys in the registry that can be changed to set the HUD settings to "on"? I would also like to set the HUD pop up for certain users at all times. Are keys present? Or can I create keys?

The fivecrm team noticed a limitation of 20 redirect URIs that exists in API applications. The specificity of their system requires to have hundreds of redirect URIs. Is there a way to do that with a current setup?

I followed the instructions for the Quick Start App to send SMS in Python. Using the Sandbox credentials, the sms queues, but isn't delivered. I have confirmed that number has the 'SmsSender' feature. I have tried sending an sms to two personal mobile numbers as well as another RingCentral number that I know is able to send/receive sms. The status printed back is 'Queued'; when I check the messageStatus, they all show 'SendingFailed.' I'm not sure what I'm missing! Is there a way to automatically update the phone number that is shown on Video meeting invites without me creating a new account?I am using the RingCentral Video Pro plan, so apparently I don't have access to contacting support.Currently the phone number shows as San Mateo, CA, but I am located in Canada so ideally I would like to have the phone number set somewhere close to me in Canada. This way those joining by phone to meetings will not need to click on the link for international teleconferencing numbers and find a Canadian number in order to join the meeting.

How do I set up the ability to answer incoming phone calls that are ringing at other office numbers? Example: how can I answer the conference room phone ringing from my desk when I hear it ringing next door? I don't want my phone to ring when any office number is ringing or be a forwarding number from other extension. Thanks.

Our business hours are 8AM to 5PM M-F. Staff usually arrive around 7:30AM to begin getting ready for the day. Our phone system is set to go to an off-site answering service “after Hours” but the staff needs to be able to communicate within the company prior to business opening. I have tried setting up a custom rule according to tech support but that is not working. Has anyone found a way to do this ?Thank you

Can we set different default outbound call line numbers based on salesforce application?

My company has setup meetings and specifically not enabled the waiting room option. However, some users are still going into the waiting room when they join a meeting. Not all of them will though. I can't figure out if there's maybe some setting those users have enabled or choose when joining the meeting.

We have had a couple of users that have reported that they chose to send caller directly to voicemail using "To Voicemail" feature on the desktop APP, but call continued to ring on mobile APP and the caller ID was their own RingCentral name and number. Has anyone experienced this?

I am looking for a report/graph that will allow me to see at what times per day we receive the most calls. We are looking to implement an answering service and want to see what times of day it would be most useful to forward calls to the answering service.

A few members of our team wanted to use the Ring Central mobile app for answering calls. The issue that this creates is in the status indicator on both the mobile and desktop app. When someone locks their phone or closes the app, RingCentral automatically sets that user to offline, even if they are online on their desktop. Is there a way to turn off this automatic status handling?

Hi! I have a user who is experiencing beeping every 8 seconds all the time. When she is on or off a call, it happens all the time. We have uninstalled and reinstalled. Any advice?

I am trying to see if my system has the capability of creating Queue priorities based on incoming caller IDs. So if a customer is a higher priority they get put to the front of the line.

We sent the fax, and the messageStatus returned was Queued, but in fact the fax could not be received. We checked the number of sent messages in the Analytics, and the status was SUCCESS, but no record of sending was found in the Service Web Portal.
