Hi! I'm setting up our system right now on Salesforce and I was wondering if it was possible to automatically create a lead upon ringing on RingCentral and use the Call Queue name as the Lead Source. Client Calls Call Queue > Line Rings > Salesforce Creates Lead with Call Queue Name as Lead Source Thank you!

So all of our inbound, unanswered phone calls go to our emails. However, all of the transcriptions come, but without the audio recording. As nice as the feature is, it doesn't always provide the most accurate version of what people say. I am curious to know if there is something wrong with our set up. All admin have permissions and receive the emails, they just do NOT include the audio player with them. Is there any way to fix this?

My Windows administrator is having some challenges deploying the RC app via .exe. Deploying the .msi file is certainly easier and more reliable, but we'd like our end-users to at least be prompted to update when an update is available. Are there any additional options for deploying the RC UC app with auto-update? Thanks.

We have a need to disable auto-update of the RingCentral App (newest version). It appears to auto-update and our desire would be to push those updates out intentionally and in a controlled way for multiple reasons. This would be for the Windows desktop version.I can't find any articles related to this latest version. Hoping someone has tackled this.

I ported a number from Google Voice to RC today, and am in the process of provisioning my phone. I'm a little lost when navigating the menus because I can't find an advanced settings list. There's a device admin and unlock admin settings menus, but I am unable to access them due to an invalid password. I did do a reboot and cancellation to reset the password to 456. That password worked when I rebooted it, but I can't use it to access some menus. I've tried modes IPV4 and 123. I did change the addressing type from static to DHCP.

Can you tell me how I can remove my extension from receiving "all" incoming calls and only receiving calls "directly" to my extension? I work in an office with 20 others and somehow my extensions receives all incoming calls. Thanks.

A user mentioned that she'd received several calls from another user, and when she reached out to him, he said he had not called her. My first thought was that he had fat-fingered and hung up right away after realizing he'd called her by mistake. I sent her the call logs from analytics, and she pointed out that there were two 10 minute calls with a status of Missed, which is weird. He confirmed that while she is one of the only people he calls (he's fairly new) that he did not call her on those occasions.(He does have the RC app on his smartphone, and it occurred to me that his kid could have accidentally called her, or that he is somehow butt-dialing her. The 10 minute Missed calls (with no voicemails left) don't make any sense, though.I'd appreciate any insight...

I have a ticket open already but wondering if this is isolated to our organization. Emails going out via @rcfax.com appear to not be processed by RingCentral. Looking through the logs on our email servers I show the emails being received by RingCentral's SMTP server and getting back a 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as XXXXXXXX. Faxes sent via the app is working but is not an acceptable solution for us as all faxes must be archived.

Hi!I use telephony session events to collecting data about calls.I noticed that there are two different ways as going call transfer from RingCentral App and Deskphone (Polycom VVX 350 for example).In next two cases I calling from customer's phone number to Main phone number and enter extension number, then I accept this call o and transfer it to another extension.First case:When I call to Extension and pick up call from App, then transfer it to another extension, in telephony session notifications I see that new call started from caller to second extension, then 1st call is over. When 2nd call is over I see notification that inbound call from customer's number to 2nd extension is over.Second

We have an organization with two separate entities on location. The secondary entity has a direct line and is forwarded to it's director. But the director also fields calls for the primary entity and needs a way to differentiate the incoming calls. Any ideas?

We have a fax-only account, with up to 25 users able to send faxes via email. We hired a new person today, and when I went to add them to the list through 'outbound fax settings', the list of email addresses isn't there. How can I add new users? Also, possibly related, it seems that outgoing email faxes aren't going. Two of us tried. Nothing showed up in outbox or sent, no confirmations were received. It was working last week. Any ideas?

We have some users who are not showing up in the company directory in the App or Mobile App. I tried following https://support.ringcentral.com/app/admin/desktop-web/managing-company-directory-ringcentral-online-account.html but the options to Include in Company Directory are not on my admin portal.Is there anything I am missing?

I'm building a SIP integration that controls calls. I would like to use one extension to control a lot of calls. I would like to have 10, 20, 30 or possibly 100 calls active on a single extension using my SIP integration.Is it possible to allow a single extension to have more lines?
