All my group is using MacOS 10.13 or above, almost every time we start a Video conference with Glip, it prompts to download the RingCentralMeetingsInstaller.pkg again, which installs RingCentral Meetings.app, and its not an update, its the same old version that was already installed, dated 12 March 2019This is confusing each user, most are not tech savvy, as they need to run the installer, ignore the popup that suggests to login to a meeting, then go back to Glip, and pick Join again.There is no way for us to know whether it will need to download and install again or not, I cant predict or repeat it, but on my Mac, based on the downloaded files, its about 50% of the time, over 2 months and I video conference once a week, and this symptom occurs on every user, both on our local network and remote.I have submitted a support request for this, but no update as yet. Anyone else?

Hello,This is a feature-add request. My organization wants to be able to identify cell meeting call-ins more quickly by name (not manually changing their name).All of our call-in people are RingCentral users, so the feature I am requesting would be for RingCentral to check the cellphone number of someone calling in, and if that number has been added to a RC profile, display the name of the person.Alternatively, if this is too complicated a feature, the ability to go into guest user phone numbers and manually set display names in RC so that when those numbers do call into meetings their name shows would be a good #2 solution.Thanks,

Hello!I have been trying to sign into the developer site here since Friday, and I'm still having issues.I set my correct signin information and it appears to load, then it brings me back to the signin screen here.When I select to sign up with a different email, I get the message:The system is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or contact developer support if the problem persists.I figured there may have been sitewide maintenance, but I checked our service status here and it shows that everything is healthy.The chat agent is also offline.Is this site maintenance that I should just wait to see go away? Or is this something particular for my account? I've disabled ad blocker for the ringcentral domain.I tried signing in on my phone as well and it has the same issue.Thank you!

How do I enable this?

Can either the built in speakers for a laptop or the internal speaker in a workstation produce an adjustable ringer sound and not my USB headset when a call comes in? I don't always wear my headset and the ringer cannot be heard sometimes. Can the ringer sound only go to the internal speaker of a workstation, the built in speakers of a laptop or an external speaker so you know when a call comes in? Does this make sense?

We are using the Ringcentral API to pull sms data for our users. Pulling data the takes longer than 90 seconds to download causes the connection to drop. There isn't any way to pull that package without the connection dropping.

* Reposting so that I can be the point of contactHi there,I've been tasked with gathering and analyzing call logs for our company, but I'm running into problems grabbing the percent of calls accepted each month.If request all company call logs, some of the extensions I'm looking for aren't being returned. I suspect it's because the users associated with these extensions are "Not Activated" (Correct me if I'm wrong). I can see the % Answered KPI for these numbers on the analytics page, btw.I'm able to come up with the number if I call the API, requesting logs for those specific extensions. The problem is, with rate limits, the process is taking far too long. (I want to archive logs for every extension, as well.)Because of the way our phone system is set up, we're using some inactive extensions that only exists to forward calls to others. I tried a workaround where I get these numbers' forwarding agents and come up with the counts that way. H

Trying to make a WWW Node in the IVR Designer get the results of a REST webservice call.It makes the webservice call just fine. But, I don't see a way to get the results of the API call in any of the documentation.I need to be able to interpret the response to know which queue the caller will be put in after the API call. Is there anyway to view the body of the response on a Json Rest call from the IVR?

Specifically those DID numbers we will have in an available/unassigned pool of numbers that may or may not be "grouped" into a SiteCode.API Query NeededReturn Available (unassigned) DID/Numbers [ Company-Wide | SiteCode | Other? ]I've searched though the Dev & Customer community posts, finding two interesting but not quite on point articles; a) What is easiest way to find an available extension number and b) Assigning extension according to user location.Topic a) is interesting, and will have high utility for us. Unfortunately I cannot find documentation on how SiteCode works within RCOffice (configure, align unassigned numbers with one/multiple SiteCodes, etc.). Pointers to detailed documentation would be most helpful.Topic b), the customer states use of SCIM to achieve location-based number provisioning. I do understand (and strongly agree) this should be a feature within RC.

Hello, I'm currently working on some enhancements to a custom Softphone like application that leverages the new-ish CallControll APIs. (Yes, I know some endpoints are still in their Beta phases... but are working, so kudos to the RC team!)We want to achieve an easy to use, hot transfer flow. Where an agent would call a client, get them on the line, put the client on hold, call a hunt group for another team member, conference everyone together and introduce the agent, then have the agent drop from the line.We explored using the 'Bridge' endpoint... and its working exactly how we expected... where it joins 2 active calls together, and puts them into 1. But, drops the agent that was joining the calls together :(.We would love a 'Conference All' endpoint, where we can join all party lines, then allow the agent to drop from the call. We're in the process of getting ready to roll out the fax function of RingCentral, starting with outbound faxing first [baby steps!]. While testing and fiddling with how we wanted it to look and feel, I would send test faxes, and then receive a Fax Message Transmission Result to my own email. So far, so good. I then finalized the configuration [I thought] and assigned the various fax lines their own email addresses. I also added user email addresses to each fax line [department-based] in preparation for their use. Now when I send a fax, the Transmission Result email is only going to the email address associated with the fax line, and not the actual sender [in this case, me]. Is there a way to change this? If you have 50 people associated with a given fax line, I don't want to necessarily have to give them all access to that email account. Or am I stuck? Suggestions certainly welcome!

I am trying to set up Call Handling to forward all calls from certain states (using area codes) to a particular extension. I know I can do this by adding an advanced call handling option, but can I bulk import the area codes I want somehow? One at a time, for over 300 area codes will be horrible. Thanks.

I know how to submit the update so our caller id name is updated in CNAM...but does anyone have any tips on how I can go about updating caller ID on other databases for carriers?For example, a few months back I resent the caller ID name per the instructions and now when I check the CNAM database, it's updated there...but when I call my cellphone it still gives a different name. (luckily the name is still something that makes it clear that it's the organization I work for...we updated CNAM to "BBB" but the callerid on my cell from various numbers show up as "better bus bru" , "Bbb ctrl dispute", "Better Business", etc. We have had most of our numbers for years, but newer numbers we have added from ringcentral will sometimes show old people/names even though they don't have anything associated in CNAM.Any tips would be much appreciated!

I would like to have an option to be able to disable the Call Waiting tone when using the RC Phone app. I would like to keep the pop-up, but not have the Call Waiting tone in my ear when a second call comes in.

When my mobile rings through the Ring Central app. There is a great delay in the call being connected after answering. I have to say "hello" three times before I hear the caller. It is rather frustrating!

We want to be able to allow users access to "User Hours". Unfortunately Role permission to change it is grouped under "User Info" permission which contains other fields we can not allow users to change.We disables "User Info" to prevent users from changing their account email address in our SSO environment. If they do that, they are unable to sign-in via campus SSO and they loose access to their RC account.Some items underneath User Info->Settings and Permissions are appropriate and very useful to end users. For instance "User Hours".Is there another way, or future plans, to allow users access "User Hours" without also allowing them to change the account email?

Earlier this month, we had a 2 hour window when voicemail notification emails were significantly delayed.Has anyone built their own email notification service using RC API functionality? If so, do you know where we could find the API to build such a service?Thank you!

Is the RC for Windows Phone application going to be sunset and replaced by RC Classic (Glip)? I thought I remembered hearing this last year and wanted to ask if there was an update.

Hello,I we just got setup with a couple of Cisco phones and I setup some speed dials but they continually alternate between the display name and blf2649580228 or similar numbers. I tried to go in and delete the speed dials but when I do there is no information listed in the speed dial location? I have rebooted the phone so not sure what else to do.

Meeting is scheduled with "enable join before host" enabled. Host joins meeting, but attendees are unable to join. Attendees receive message "waiting for host", but host is already in the meeting. This issue does not happen with all meetings and there is no commonality to when it occurs.

Here is a feature that I would love to see. The Why: When a meeting ends, many times you need to grab a few key people and do an immediate debrief meeting or debrief call (no video). Yes as host I could wait til certain people hopped off and say, the following people hang on, but occasionally you want that to be anonymous. I could go to my personal room, invite people, and send, but there should be a WAY easier method.For example: During the main meeting creation, a check box "Schedule Follow-Up Call for Debrief". You can set as phone call or video meeting. Either pre-invite people to it to block time, or option to wait and see attendees list. Many times people get invited or don't make meetings.You host the meeting, it has video, recording, customers, etc. You want to end the meeting and cease all recording and then immediately flip to the follow-up meeting with restricted attendees.When I hit "end meeting", if pre-scheduled, a new meeting immediately
