My problem is that none of my employees like the Ringcentral for Salesforce app. Why? Because if they are in the middle of setting up a case or job or opportunity and the phone rings it changes to the incoming contact page and they lose all their work. Is their a way to set it up so a call opens a NEW tab with the contact?

I am using a monthly subscription and was asking to reduce the number of lines. I didn't use all the lines anymore since due to COVID-19 our business size reduced dramatically. They anyway told me that I can't do it until the next renewal contract date. Unfortunately, RingCentral the only company that doesn't care about customers' satisfaction.

When i listen to a voicemail message, the system states the callback number as something like 555 billion, 123 million 456 thousand 7. I see no setting that would govern this and it just seems weird that this would ever be the behavior of the system. I opened case number 10634456 and it is now on a hold and i'm not expecting it is getting looked at.

I'm curious if, in the new desktop and mobile app, there is a way to see all personal and other individual's assigned tasks in one place and on a calendar like it used to be?

We receive a lot of calls where there is silence on the other end. We have simultaneous ringing set up going to two different numbers, but both of us are seeing this problem.

I was working with RingCentral support over the last few days regarding calls dropping when someone transfers a call to them from a queue. After doing some troubleshooting they came back with the following answer:"The most recent platform update has changed this behavior. Users who are in a call queue must have their status set to "accept calls from queue" in order to take a call that has been transferred to them".So now when one of our users gets a call from a customer in a queue and they want to transfer it to a sales rep who happens to be in the same queue, that person needs to set their status to be able to take the transferred call. So effectively no one can ever set their status to being logged out of a queue ever again or they will be missing calls constantly.What is the logic behind this change?What if the person who is being transferred to logs in at the same time another call gets routed to them from the same queue?Is there a better work around for this?ed

Hi,There have been multiple updates to the Ringcentral Salesforce integration in the past few months, but there have been no release notes with each release. Is there an easy way to view the release notes for the last few versions of the RingCentral Salesforce integration and the latest version 6.6.2(58)?There needs to be an easier way for admins to see the release notes when a new version comes out. After digging through the RingCentral support database, the latest release notes I can find are for 6.5 dated 10/21/2019.Thanks

I would love to add 3rd party software update support for RingCentral to my SCCM configuration. This would allow updates to the application to be delivered right alongside Windows Updates in my environment. I'm not sure if RingCentral supports this setup or not. To configuration SCCM to provide these updates, I would need the custom catalog download URL for the RingCentral Phone application.

My personal link will not let anyone, including myself, into my meetings. It just gives this error:"This meeting has been ended by host", no one can join.

We have a user with Outlook for Mac who is having an odd issue.When he creates a RingCentral meeting using the Outlook for Mac plugin, he initially sees the standard meeting invitation template. He then edits the text to include information about his specific meeting -- he adds a greeting, a meeting agenda, a signature, etc.As soon as he hits "send," the meeting invite reverts back to the template and overwrites all the text he just entered.He is the only user out of 40 people having this issue. I am not sure if it is a problem with the Mac plugin or something with his user account. Any ideas?

Is there a way to avoid having so many telephone numbers auto fill the Outlook calendar invite when using the RingCentral Outlook plugin? it enters 5 different phone numbers that users can use to call in, and is cluttered and confusing. I don't need options for US East, US West, US Central, US North, and US South. I need one call in number and one access code.

We have been having a problem the last few weeks. The phone rings. You can see who the caller is but when you answer the call it's dead air. The call is logged. What could be causing this?

With the RC Slack integration and Slack release versions as of this date, it is observed that when the "/ringcentral meet" is triggered, the person whose RC account the integration is triggered under must join the meeting first, or the attached error will be generated for all trying to join the meeting.Anyone know a way to fix this?Opened Case # 07915468

How can we make the outbound caller ID option ONLY the users DID and not selectable (in the desktop and mobile apps)? We do not want to provide users an option to spoof their outbound DID with any other number than their DID.

As a meeting participant, I want to be able to see the screenshare, that the host is sharing, on my monitor and see the full gallery of 20 participants (not just the strip of videos that doesn't show everyone) on my laptop screen. How do I view the call like that?

Failed Faxes Disappear from my app and I can't resend myself. I must creat fax again.I use to be able to resend a fax when it failed. Now, it disappears from my app and I must create it again and reattached all files. I can't find any setting to change to make it stay in my app until I see it and resend it.

When I try to type a text message in Glip (web browser version), somehow it is not recognizing all of my keystrokes. As a result, I am having to type the text in the browser's search bar and then copy and paste into the Glip text message. I believe that it is doing this on various devices, and it is not a problem when typing elsewhere in the browser, so it has to be something with Glip.It does not seem to be a problem when I am using Glip for inter-office messaging.How can I fix this problem?

Ringcentral meeting Invite deleted by mistake

Is there a way for administrators of our RingCentral application to retrieve glip chat history for a particular user? We need access to this information for employee relation concerns.

Somehow our Asana account got integrated into our main team in the Ring Central app, which means every few seconds it tells us about a new task or completed task and makes it impossible for us to actually use the team properly. I cant seem to find any way to remove this integration. Anyone able to help?
