I'm surprised, unless I'm missing something, that the Caller ID for SMS conversations isn't sticky (retaining the same outbound caller ID as the current conversation). The mobile app does this by default - is there a setting in the desktop app or is this not currently supported?

Hi,Our (legacy) applications produce PDFs...Some of them I can send using RingCentral API, while I get RenderingFailed for others...The code I use to send this is the sample Java code provided with some minor adjustments to fill in the required fields.It is not a file size problem, the failing one is actually smaller...Any ideas?NicolasPS: Phong, if needed I can most likely provide a sample PDF...

I'm trying to make create an internal data warehouse that collects every one of our user's call data on a nightly basis. My initial attempt took an absurd amount of time as I had to throttle the rate of API calls to avoid rate limits. I contacted dev support and was told I could make multiple API calls without encountering limits by staying authenticated on multiple extensions. I'm not sure how to stay authenticated on multiple extensions in python... using the python ringcentral module requires logging in with a username and pw, is there any way around this?

A user of ours tried to send a text message to a client, the client didn't respond, later when he spoke to the client, the client asked him why he called him so many times, so he realized that for every text message he got a phone call instead of the text message, is anybody else experiencing this problem, or does anybody know the reason?

UK, Motor Finance, It would be good if Mobile numbers could be assigned to outbound calls - This would increase the possibility of making contact with relevant parties when calling their mobile. We base most of our communication on Mobile numbers as the primary contact number and as such most people are likely to answer a mobile number when on caller ID than a Land line.

Hi I am new to ring central. We have a ASP.NET MVC project we would like to integrate ring central into. We are trying to create a feature that can make and receive calls and also logs a report (length of call, who made the call, etc). I have looked at the WebRTC and the RingOut examples and I have a few questions. Can both of these make and receive calls? Can they be implemented through C#? Will they work with .Net framework 4.5.2?Thank you

Hi!I need to send faxes programmatically (ie using the API) with a different caller Id depending on which of my employer's subsidiary the fax is sent for.I looked at all the parameters offered in the API call and none of them apparently let's me do that.How am I supposed to send a fax with a different caller Id? Do I need to change credentials depending on which caller Id number I want to use?Do I need to change the client id and secret to or only the username and password?Changing them on a per fax basis does not feel quite scalable so there has to be another way...Thank you and have a nice day,Nick

Hi there - forgive me if this question has been asked before or needs to go to another area - but I am a new customer to RC and the only gripe I have is the fact that Missed Call notifications and Voicemail notifications have what I would say is "marketing material". For one our users -(large base) - to receive a "Earn up to $2500.00 for each business you refer to RingCentral" is obtrusive to our end users. I would think that there is a way to disable this. Please advise if there is or if this is on the radar.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get our issue resolved with "customer support". We had several individual accounts/fax lines combined into a single account, keeping all the numbers the same. Now when one of our users try to send a fax via email, we get a return message that there are too many mailboxes and to log in to the account you are not using and delete your email address there. It seems like their system is still seeing the info from the old accounts and confusing it with the new account. Every call or chat to support always starts back at square one, describing the problem, sending screen shots, etc. and getting no where.

Hello RingCentral, it's disrupting and highly unprofessional when a call comes in while I'm on a call because of all the beeping and ringing. How long before you create a feature where I can say, "If you receive this recording that means I'm on another call right now." Recordings are ruined because of the ringing and beeping. Thank you.

how do i get the mobile ring tone volume to adjust its to loud.

While using the desktop app on Sales Force Classic, the popup that should comes up after clicking on a phone number often take 10 to 30 seconds to appear or not at all. This is very random, will work for a string of calls then stop. Then start working again then stop. Closing the browser and reopening, logging off then back on has little or no effect. Win 10 all updates done on Chrome.A wait or kill dialogue box often shows up after a number (less then 30) clicks on a different phone number are ignored.

Hello, can someone advise me on the best way to handle a single number at a location where the employee currently on-call can use the account. If the small pool of on-call employees all had the soft-phone installed on their smartphone and then only logged into the shared account when they were on call, would that be the best (most viable) solution?Apologies in advance if this is a silly/simple question - I've inherited admin RC service with no training.
