1. US 2. 07913904 3. I'm a new RC customer. Switched meetings from GTM and didnt have this problem on GTM. Some of my coworkers are reporting that some of their Meetings attendees are not able to join from their corporate PCs. They click the join link, browser opens and downloads RCMeetings, they are sometimes prompted to input name as usual, but at this point the process fails with no errors, it just quits on them, just nothing. On the host side however they see the attendee in their attendee list. The attendee can not hear or see anything. The app never fully opened for them. Dialing in does work. I think what's happening is these attendees are all customers of ours or prospects and they are all banks or financial institutions with strict network and/ or endpoint firewall rules, and RC is not whitelisted. We did not have this problem with GTM. Wondering if anybody else has seen this. I'm going to try to get more info from coworkers this week. RC Support this past week sai

I am starting an executive suite (like Regus). I am providing phone service as part of the service for the tenants. With over 30+ tenants, my live receptionist needs to see the number being called (Callee ID) so she can answer the call appropriately using the right business name. 8x8 has a product called "Switchboard", but the only product RC has that is close is "Multi-site support".... is there a solution I am not seeing?

my first problem is when a call goes to voicemail it doesn't go to the ring central voicemail it goes to an individuals voicemail. my second problem is that the calls shouldn't come up as answered if no one answered them. and my last problem is when the call is forwarded it should go to the next person in the que not to voicemail.the account type is through the ring central app in the USA. 2 users affected.

When a user requests our app to perform a RingOut, the call starts ringing and the user needs to physically pickup the call to be connected, even though they are wearing a headset and are prepared to take the call when requesting the RingOut. This adds an unnecessary step to their workflow.I see that you can disable the playPromt press 1 part, but is there a way to automatically have the user answer their leg of the call as soon as it starts ringing? Maybe it's a different API in the new Call Control resource?

Our US company has only one new telephone number left to assign to agents. Can we either cancel some of the invitations to use the system that have gone out or expand the available numbers?

Especially for larger companies, why can't an Admin for RingCentral upload a standardized Fax Cover Sheet template for all Users? Having to manually upload for every user is time consuming and tedious.

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE STATUS How can I create my own status settings (i.e. on vacation, in a meeting,) and do I have to do this on the desktop AND phone app?

I have a Polycom V V X 311. Occasionally, the phone will start ringing, however, there is no incoming call. The display shows a three or four digit number. The phone will continue to ring until power is disconnected. A reboot solves the problem, but just temporarily. Any ideas?

The display on my computer is 180 left to right backward. Ringcentral says this is normal. I need to find a way to turn the view so that when I am looking at my monitor while I present a product is in not backward. Anyone have an idea on how to accomplish that. Thanks, Will

We are seeing an issue where if someone in a group does a Warm Transfer to an external number, completes the call and hands it off, they're still showing as On-Call in the group queue until the original caller and the person our agent transferred to hang up. I don't see a way to get this to stop and it only happens with external Warm Transfers. Internal to Ring Central transfers are not affected by this issue and the agent goes Unavailable for the preset time, then back to Available.I would like to know if there is a way to stop this from happening when transferring a call to an external number.

I would like to do a opencart connect to ringcentral api integration.Export a set of cell phone numbers with a message from opencart to ringcentral. Have ringcentral send sms/mms message to those selected phone numbers.Here is a basic rundown what this is suppose to do.1. My employee choose a set of customer to send mms/sms message to2. My employee create a message that will be send out.3. After they choose the customers in opencart and compose the message, they click the send button.4. opencart send the info to ringcentral api.5. ringcentral api will send out those messages.It will be great, if you can do additional feature such as- check if phone number accept sms/mms or not- auto send tracking id to customer- or any automated messages.Please leave me your email if you can accomplish this task.Thanks

How can I use my ring central account as landline?

At the top of the screen when I am in the RC App it States "Unable to Access Server" in pink. This has been going on for the last 6 hours. It disables my ability to text or receive new voicemails. After deleting the app - reinstalling the app I now have a error code that VoIP Calling Only - (sorry we are having issues connecting your device to our server. You can make and receive VOIP calls normally, but cannot send or receive messages, refresh your call log or make RingOut calls at this time). I rebooted my device - the error is still there and additionally, all of my text messages are gone.

Related to ticket: 07948600The NetGear R7000 should be a preferred router, based on the R6400 recommendation from RingCentral as a recommended router.I am posting these details in case someone has investigated this problem and solved it better than I did. I replaced the router with an ASUS and got no more problems. Please share if you actually figure out what is happening.Description:Router is NetGear R7000 Nighthawk. Firmware: V1.0.9.12_1.2.23Default configuration, no QOS, no port restrictions.Plenty of speed - 10Mb/s up and down minimum on Comcast.10 phones, Cisco SPA-508G, purchased from RC.About 2-3 times per day, one of the phones loses its registration - two lights turn orange, status on line 1 is "Registering" or "Registration failed". Velocify is a sales lead manager that uses a SIP from your VoIP provider. RC provided our account's SIP but could not verify if it can be used with Velocify. Velocify is currently having us use a static IP address but it is only a temp. workaround. Calls using Velocify eventually are unable to connect forcing us to reset the SIP and creating downtime. Also, because of the SIP, RC is not able to distinguish that a call needs to go to voicemail quick enough causing the call to be bumped to our overflow channel.Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,U.S. account here. I was wondering what the best way would be to calculate the % of calls answered within 60 seconds? It is a metric we are now required to report out to the rest of the business.We download the call log as a spreadsheet and run pivot tables for some of our stats, but while it has a time stamp and shows call duration it doesn't have any data for how long the customer waited before a call either connects or is dropped. Is this something that could be added to the call log or is this data available anywhere else?Thank you for the help,Phil

In the lastest RingCentral Newsletter, there's a link to a page that discuss the features of RingCentral for O365 (see below.) I notice it also shows part of the configuration where you can tell the app which phone to ring (see image below.) Is there any way to force and lock a user into only using "My RingCentral Phone"? The vast majority of our RingCentral users are using Citrix (virtual desktops.) We would like to start offering the use of this app but we do not want them conducting the actual phone call through the RingCentral for O365 app due to audio quality issues via the virtual environment. So we'd like to be able to make a setting change (within their Role in the Admin portal?) to force their RingCentral for O365 app to ONLY use the desktop phone to make calls.https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/ringcentral-office-365

Glip update wiped all previous chat and calendar basically clean slate.....HELP!!!!!

glip was working well for me this morning 3/12 until about 10am est. when it told me to click update when prompted. I had to close my browser when i did I signed back in but no calendar or ability to do much of anything within the app. Why would the service be getting an update in the middle of the morning during a work week? It's hard to use an all in one app for my calls and schedule if I cant see my schedule or add to it.

Using an Australian account type. Using the RC Phone ApplicationWhen I receive an external call through our business line, If I try to transfer this to another extension in the Network it will not work. The call just goes back to myself as the first point of contact.If somebody within our RC System calls my extension and I go to transfer the call to another extension, this works. Anybody know the reason behind my issue with external call transferring?
