Is it possible to get amount of time call is being put in on-hold mode with some RC API?It is also required to get amount of time in on-hold mode before get first anser and after initial answer?I understand that is possible listening to Presence Event notification, paying attention to telephonyStatus parameter value, right?Any other way to do this, perhaps?

Hello, I am trying to integrate Call Central with my CRM which is "Smart Office powered by Ebix". I am told Smart office is TAPI compliant. From here, how am I able to integrate the two? Someone from Smart Office mentioned getting a TAPI driver from Ring Central is this true? Please advise. Thank you

(I saw a previous post like this that did not get resolved but am in need of an immediate solution so started a new post) Our call queues are set up to ring to several desktop computer apps as well as several cell phones as simultaneously. When I call comes in, and a team member wants to Ignore the call, the system will immediately ring their line again, effectively making the Ignore button useless. I would like the functionality to have the Ignore button take one out of the call queues that that incoming call, and not ring my extension again. This is different that changing my status to Busy/Do Not Accept Calls, as I want to be able to pass on calls, but without taking myself out of the call queue all together. The Ignore button should allow me to ignore a specific call, without the system continuously ringing my extension.

I would like to achieve the below using this application.Subscribe for all the extensions using the single accountOnce subscribed I would like to receive the notifications(call) for each extension on this applicationI would then like to filter each notification based on the extension number and accordingly send the call details using my software on the call center rep's desktop.So basically RingCentral's desktop app will run on every agent's desktop but my notification application will run only on one server where it should be able to receive all the call notifications .After the above I would send the call details received from the notification app to my CRM web app running on the call center rep's machine.I hope the above is clear, the whole idea is to make call center representativesreceive the call notifications in real time without running the subscription apps on their respective machines.I am us

HiI've implemented RingOut using the REST API and it's working as expected. I have also set up a webhook notification, which is also working.I'd like to know if it's possible to tell if the recipient (the to number) never answered or the call went to voice mail?I don't see anything that indicates this in the call log or in the notification payloadThanks

I have set up the desktop app to launch my cloud based case management system. The creators of their software have it set so that it generates me data. They are telling me that RingCentral will then take this data and make it a clickable link or possibly pop up the page. Below is the data generating on a test run. We just implemented the RingCentral for SalesForce add-in. Prior to this, sales reps were creating call logs manually which inserts Task records. However, we have certain fields marked as required, such as Call Disposition, and even further, if a rep selects a disposition of "Answered" or "Completed", it then requires additional fields be completed.How can I use the RingCentral add-in given our Task validation constraints? Can more fields from the Task object be added to the RingCentral addin? Or, am I going to be forced to remove my validations?Thanks

I have an online form where people submit for a quote. On the form I have phone number, email, name etc. My question is can I have that person fill out the form and click submit. Then a calls gets initiated to my business and we answer a call goes out to the customer that just submitted the form.

I have a small business online food ordering and delivery with local restaurant, and we do not have physical landline fax, actually we don't need that. I saw you have an online fax function. So my question is how to work with online fax, and how to from our website background automatic send online fax to the restaurant. For example, when you submit the order to our website, and website will send customer confirmation email, and also website background well automatic sent the order number and food name to the restaurant, is that make sense? If that is possible, how to connect my website background to the online fax? Do you have technical support with my account api? After numerous attempts to get a call with a recording to show up I have failed. I am making a request to this endpoint '/account/~/call-log?&withRecording=true' and do not get any results back. Is this the proper endpoint to get call's with voice recordings. I have made several test calls with the desktop application and the recordings show up on the production side of things and I can hear everything. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.--Edit: Call recording has been enabled for our application

Can we read the contents of the message from the Push notification directly ?"

I need to archive SMS messages in Gmail (we use Google Apps for Work). We receive the notifications via email for incoming messages -- however, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to accomplish this for outgoing SMS. Does anyone know how to do this?

We have staff that ONLY use use the mobile app -- not the Salesforce-integrated softphone. I need to figure out how to push their call and text activity to Salesforce. It was my understanding (from a 9/15/15 blog post) that RC text activity would seamlessly flow into Salesforce. This integration update was to occur Q4 of 2015. However, in a conversation with a Level II tech support rep, that integration never took place. Does anyone have an update on this integration? Or a workaround, if it's not officially going to happen?

We have a service that downloads recordings once a call has been completed. We download the recordings based on the provided URL from the call log. Starting at about 1:30 am CDT most of our attempts are getting a 422 error when we try and access that recording URL.This is a .net Windows service that is calling the RC API to get the call logs and then using the RC provided URL to download the recording content.
