Failed to get API Key in Redtail CRM

When trying to connect the RingCentral Unified Chrome extension to the Redtail CRM, I receive the error “Failed to get API Key.” I have verified that my credentials are correct. How do I connect successfully to Redtail?

Logging calls successfully with Bullhorn

Not too long ago we released an enhancement to our Bullhorn integration that allowed users to set the default value of the Bullhorn “Note action.” That new setting looked something like this: Default note actions for Bullhorn users What we discovered recently is that if specify a default note action that is not found in your commentActionList setting, then the call will fail to be logged successfully. Users experiencing this issue may encounter the following error message: Unable to log call due to Conflict: multiple associated Note Actions. Please review each item under Unresolve tab to resolve the conflicts. The error happens because Bullhorn is very strict. Therefore, if the value of the default note action does not match what is in Bullhorn EXACTLY, then it fails. We have seen users mis-type the default note action - if it is off by a single character (it is case sensitive), then Bullhorn will reject the attempt to log the call. Unable to send SMS/text from the Unified CRM Extension

We are a new client and our numbers have been ported over from our previous carrier today. All users are unable to text via the RingCentral Unified CRM extension for Bullhorn. All users are reporting the error, “A valid Phone Number is required to send text message to recipients outside of your company, Please contact your Administrator...” RingCentral and Spectrum Enterprise support stated they do not support this tool, and to reach out here. Direct numbers have been assigned to each user in the RC admin portal.

Can we refine the permissions needed for the NetSuite integration?

I was trying to install the RingCentral for Netsuite info, but I have a question: the permissions require the users to have the ‘Employee’ and ‘Employee Record’ Permission set to full. However, the issue with that is now the employee has full access to seeing every other employees compensation, personal info, etc. Is there a workaround to this?

Duplicate contacts created in Clio by CRM Extension

The RingCentral CRM Extension creates duplicate contacts in Clio. I wanted to know how to it is possible to avoid this issue and also it doesn’t provide the option of saving contacts only in RingCentral without saving it in Clio.

"Oauth2 feature is not enabled" for NetSuite

We are excited to welcome NetSuite users to the community of Unified CRM extension users. I will admit, NetSuite is one of the harder integrations to setup currently because of the tight controls NetSuite puts in place to protect users’ accounts. As a result, there are a lot of permissions a user must have to use this product fully. One permission that a user must possess is an Oauth2 permission. This allows users to connect to third-party applications such as the Unified CRM extension. We have found that most users do not have this permission assigned to them by default. You will know you need this permission when you attempt to connect to your NetSuite account. During the authorization process you will see a screen similar to the following: I would like to bring your attention to the small-type message, “OAuth2 feature is not enabled.” This permission can be added to your account, along with all the other required permissions by a NetSuite admin. Idea: provide supervisor access to company call history

Provide supervisor access to call logs of employees. So if an employee is out sick and we have to listen to the previous call, we have access to the employee call recording directly from PipeDrive.

Do you support multiple users/logins in the Pipedrive integration?

I am having serious problems with the app. If I log into Pipedrive and connect to my RingCentral number, it asks me to uninstall / install the app on the Pipedrive marketplace. When I do that, it kicks out my coworker from their Pipedrive / RingCentral account and asks them to uninstall/install the app again in the marketplace. This will keep happening. I have 3 Pipedrive logins and 3 RingCentral phone lines, how do I connect all of them?

How do I remove call logs as events with the Insightly & RingCentral integration?

The Insightly/RingCentral integration currently logs phone calls as past events that show up on a users calendar. While building this out, I realized that 40+ calls a day for a user will render the calendar as virtually inoperable as it is bogged down by call logs. Is there a way to stop Insightly from posting the call log to the calendar while still allowing it to show under the "activity" tab of the respective lead? The one flaw I have found with the most recent integration between RingCentral and Insightly is that calls are logged as past events within Insightly. While this is a good thing, those past calls are listed on the calendar as an event. When 40 calls are made a day, the calendar gets to jumbled where it makes it virtually inoperable. Is there a way to stop the call logs being posted to the calendar?

Resolved: some Bullhorn users' calls are not being logged

Update (9/11/2024): The patch we have made to the Bullhorn integration (version 1.0.7) should fully resolve this issue. We wanted to alert users to an issue currently affecting Bullhorn users. Some users of the Bullhorn integration are experiencing challenges related to successfully logging all calls. We are actively working with the Bullhorn support team to address this issue and restore all functionality quickly. While this issue is on-going we recommend users do the following: Save your call notes Delay logging calls until issue is fully resolved Rest assured, there is no risk to your data as a result of this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve your RingCentral experience alongside Bullhorn.

I have an employee’s RingCentral Extension that will not give the option to login to Redtail. Not sure what to do from here. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the Ringcentral app and the chrome extension. Here is a picture of mine vs my employees. Any advice?

Can you sync Bullhorn CRM with your RingCentral address book?

Is there a way to pull my contact list data from our Bullhorn CRM to my RingCentral Application to identify any incoming calls or incoming SMS messages based on our Bullhorn CRM data? Also to sync the contact data from our Bullhorn CRM into the RingCentral dialer or SMS field for outgoing calls and text messages without using the Tenfold extensions and solely utilizing RingCentral applications?

Solution: unable to match a contact in your CRM?

One of the most common challenges arises from phone calls for which a corresponding contact record in the CRM cannot be found. The frustration comes when you know for a fact that the contact exists. When this happens it is almost certainly related to a failed lookup of the contact based on the given phone number. A lookup can fail in some CRMs for the following reasons: If the phone number stored in the CRM does not EXACTLY match the phone number as seen in the Unified CRM extension. This is due to limitations in the connected CRMs' APIs. If you have just created it and the CRM server usually doesn't reflect the change immediately. Some CRMs have refresh clock to update all changes every X seconds/minutes. So if it's just created and can be seen on CRM webpages, please wait for a couple of minutes and it should then be fetched to the extension. There are two ways to fix the issue: Update the contact record's phone number so that it conforms to the E.164 standard. This will be the most

When will RingCentral coordinate with RedTail CRM for a true integration?

It's a bit surprising that RingCentral isn't laser-focused on integrations through its app for every major CRM. For RedTail, all that is available is a dangerously insecure Chrome browser extension that doesn't actually work.
