New NetSuite adapter enhancements now available

Exciting updates to the NetSuite Adapter for App Connect! These enhancements are now available to all NetSuite users. There is no need to update to App Connect itself. Here's what's new: Fix: We've addressed the issue with the phone call log's "Date" and "Completed Date" fields, which previously displayed one day prior to the actual call start date. Sales Order associations: Calls can now be associated with sales order objects linked to the corresponding contact of the given phone call. This enhancement ensures that call details are easily accessible from the Communication → User Notes field under Sales Order objects, making it simpler to track and manage interactions. Phone Call Details: We have added new fields for Note, Summary, Contact Number, Result, Date/Time, and Duration under the Message section in phone calls. These fields can be managed through the Call Log Details settings area in App Connect, giving you better control over what information is logged. Stay tuned for more up

Error message enhancements, and Clio time tracking changes in 1.3.5

🚀 We’re excited to announce a small but impactful update to App Connect! In version 1.3.5, we've made two significant enhancements to improve your experience: Error Message Improvements We've refined all error messages to be more detailed, aiming to provide users with the information needed to resolve common issues independently. Clio Integration Enhancements We've also made modifications to Clio's logging behavior to make time tracking more efficient: Time Entry Toggle: A toggle has been added to control whether a time entry is made or not. Billable Toggle: A new toggle has been added to control whether a call is marked as billable or not by default. More enhancements to how we log call in Clio are coming to make it even easier and more reliable, thanks to feedback we have already received. Will App Connect log calls routed via a call queue?

We leverage call queues for most of our departments, so user calls our main line, presses a number, a group of RC users are rung, and one of them answers. I’m not sure if I’m not seeing the answer, but I wanted to verify whether or not queue calls would be picked up by the App Connect/BH integration and log as a call note? I’m assuming it would, but want to verify

Unable to connect to Redtail, "Connect URL" error?

I am unable to connect my Ringcentral to my Redtail or my computer. When I attempt to log in,using the app, I am flagged that the URL is not connected or needs the URL connection.

Requested features from end users - Bullhorn

Hello, I have been asked by my end users if it is possible to make the notes screen in Bullhorn populate while on the call, instead of the log notes screen in the extension, so we can use note templates and @ people to be notified from a note. Is this possible or is there a way to use note templates or @ people from the logging page in the extension? Two other features we had on our previous provider were Voicemail drops, to leave pre recorded messages instead of saying the same thing over and over. This really save a tone of time, for example if you leave 50 messages at 30 seconds each, that’s 25 minutes saved to make more calls! The other feature is an auto/power dialer, so when my end users are working off of a tear sheet in Bullhorn, this dialer will automatically call the next person on the tear sheet after a pre established wrap up time. This again is a huge time saver that makes it so my end users don’t have to constantly switch to new profiles and select the dial button, the di

Calls not auto logged and note screen not populating - Bullhorn

Hello, We recently onboarded with RingCentral and everything was going smoothly, a few weeks ago we started seeing an error message about calls not logged (picture included) and the call logging page stopped auto populating after the call ended. I have tested this myself so I can confirm that the “Log phone calls automatically” and “Open call logging page after call” options in the settings are turned on. I have found a workaround for the calls not logged error by setting default actions in the Bullhorn options, but my concern is that the default will not always be the best action for that specific note and without the log page auto populating after the call my end users won’t know/remember to change it and our data in Bullhorn will be bad/messy. Are there any suggestions of what we can do on our end to get these features working again properly or is there a fix in the pipeline on the RingCentral side? Thank you!

RingCentral not syncing texts or calls

Our ring central extension is not syncing any calls or texts into our CRM Pipedrive. When we click the sync button it just goes gray and doesn’t sync any data. Can you please advise?

Tips on avoiding Clio rate limits

Are you encountering the "Clio rate limit reached" error while using App Connect with Clio? We've compiled a few practical tips to help you avoid this issue and ensure a smoother workflow. Understanding the Issue This error typically arises due to a surge of API requests made to Clio, resulting in Clio blocking these requests to protect its service. This practice is called “rate limiting.” Clio does not provide an option to customize rate limits, making it essential for users to adapt. App Connect is generally efficient with API calls; however, the nature of Clio’s API can sometimes lead to this error. One main factor is that Clio's API is strict about looking up contacts via phone numbers—a feature heavily used by App Connect. Frequently, App Connect may need to make up to five API calls in quick succession to locate a single contact, increasing the likelihood of triggering Clio's rate limit, especially during extensive call logging sessions. SMS Messages Not logging

Our team’s CRM is Bullhorn and we are having issues with logging SMS messages. We are using version 1.3.1, which I believe is the latest version. When manually clicking the log button, we are not being redirected to the next page. The interface remains on the same page and loads as if it is going to log the messages, but ultimately does not log. We have tried turning on the auto log feature and that has not worked either. We have signed out and signed back into Bullhorn & the extension, have cleared our cache, and have uninstalled the extension and reinstalled. Any recommendations regarding troubleshooting are appreciated.

What phone fields does App Connect lookup in NetSuite?

Would like to understand if the extension uses the native (default) phone fields in NetSuite or does it also lookup custom phone fields?

Issue creating contact in NetSuite, logs just show []..

We are testing this integration in NetSuite and are able to create phone calls but are failing with contact creation. The placeholder company was not created, I added it manually. Still failed. Permissions from rings documentation have been confirmed and are correct. We tried using the standard netsuite contact form and still get a failure. The error does not point to anything. Anyone had success?

Calls are not logged with the contact names from Bullhorn

Calls are not logged with the contact names from Bullhorn in the RingCentral CRM Extension. Only after manually refreshing a call entry the name from the respective Bullhorn contact is displayed (see screenshot below, for instance “Niels Körner” was manually refreshed to get the name in the display). How can I get a call list, that always displays names and not phone numbers?

Chrome App Store review process is slowing down releases

I wanted to provide a quick update to the community to let them know that we have had version 1.2 submitted to the Chrome App Store for now one full calendar week. We are waiting for them to review and publish the update. In the past this was done quite quickly (less than a day typically), so we are not sure why it is taking so long. We are inquiring and will post an update when we have one. Nov 19, 2024 update: we found that our submission to the Chrome App Store was rejected. We are addressing the issue and resubmitting to App Store as soon as possible. Nov 20, 2024 update: version 1.2 has been released. We reached out to Google to inquire about the release process, and they informed us that their policies are changing and becoming more strict, requiring more review and holding all Chrome extensions to a higher standard. We applaud efforts to make all software more secure, and are working to better comply with Google policies and best practices.
