The RingCentral desktop app has a setting to disable incoming call pop-up. Is there a similar setting for the Chrome Extension?

@richardsdl

Great question! The Chrome Extension doesn't have a built-in toggle for this like the desktop app does, but you have a couple of options:

  • Control it through Chrome: Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications and adjust RingCentral's permission there
  • Use Do Not Disturb (DND) when you need focused time (just remember to flip it back!)

And you can always jump to the Ideas Portal and add your feedback.
Not sure if this is EXACTLY what you’re hoping to see, but there's an open Ideas post worth upvoting: Ability to disable pop-up on incoming calls

@richardsdl Also, let me know if the above helps or if you’re still struggling!

When I go to the notification settings for the RingCentral extension, both Notifications, and Pop-ups and redirects are set to allow and are grayed out so I cannot change them. It says “Allowlisted internally”.
