What phone fields does App Connect lookup in NetSuite?

Would like to understand if the extension uses the native (default) phone fields in NetSuite or does it also lookup custom phone fields?

@jammmmmmer When searching for contacts, App Connect utilizes the phone, homePhone, mobilePhone, and officePhone fields. Similarly, when searching for customers, it uses the phone, homePhone, mobilePhone, and altPhone fields. If any of these fields match, the record is identified as a matched contact. These are core fields. Currently, App Connect does not use custom fields for contact searches.

@john-ingebrigtson To the best of my knowledge, it only searches core fields, and does NOT search custom fields.

I would like to learn more about how many additional fields you need to search? And what are their associated data types?

I am wondering: if phone numbers are a data type, and if we can detect the field’s type, then it is possible we could search these fields automatically.

But this would need to be added to our roadmap.

Did you get to the bottom of this, it looks like App Connect only references the Mainline number?
