Audio alert for text messages received on desktop app

No audio notification from desktop app when receiving texts. Audio works fine when notification sounds are tested but no sound is actually made by the computer when a text is received.

Check the settings of your app and see if the speaker source is correctly mentioned with your system speaker. Then change the sound to a different one and test.

If nothing works, try reinstalling the app again.
