The red message light is on with no messages or faxes to delete. How do I restore system to normal?

Is the light by any chance blinking? If so DND is probably turned on.

Hi Mike,
No, light is solid - as if I had an undeleted fax or message.

5 years later, and now having the same problem with the nagging red light. The latest RC app is now so bloated with features I don't want and will never use, it's not easy to see what is triggering this. No calls, faxes or messages that I can see.
Is there an easy to way to purge and reset for this issue?
