Tap Voicemail

Not sure if it’s just us, but leaving voicemails has become one of the most repetitive parts of the day.

When you’re making a lot of calls, it feels like it really breaks your rhythm having to stop and repeat the same message over and over.

Curious how others are handling this inside RingCentral.

Are you:

  • Just leaving them manually every time?
  • Using a script and powering through it?
  • Or is there a better way you’ve found to speed that part up?

Feels like there should be a more efficient way to handle it without interrupting call flow.

Set up an Announcement-Only Extension (suggest you use a 3 digit extension)  and record your voicemail message. When the called party voicemail answers (after the tone)  transfer the call to the 3 digit  Extension # of the Announcement-Only Extension.
