How do i turn off desktop ringing?

I have several phone at my work place that accept the ringcentral phone calls. I use the desktop app to see my faxes and voice messages. I do not want the phone to ring to my computer, but if I mute it in the settings, it turns off the volume for the whole computer. How do I disable the ringing on my computer app?

Go into the settings, of the RC4W APP, and select sounds. There is an option to turn it off.

The First Step

That does not working for me. Not sure what the 4W means either. I called support on this and they said that option tp disable the ring is not available in the newest version.

He was able to show me where to turn on the notifications for the phone, but that only worked for popups and popup sounds, The phone still rings.
