I have a Polycom V V X 311. Occasionally, the phone will start ringing, however, there is no incoming call. The display shows a three or four digit number. The phone will continue to ring until power is disconnected. A reboot solves the problem, but just temporarily. Any ideas?

The display on my computer is 180 left to right backward. Ringcentral says this is normal. I need to find a way to turn the view so that when I am looking at my monitor while I present a product is in not backward. Anyone have an idea on how to accomplish that. Thanks, Will

We are seeing an issue where if someone in a group does a Warm Transfer to an external number, completes the call and hands it off, they're still showing as On-Call in the group queue until the original caller and the person our agent transferred to hang up. I don't see a way to get this to stop and it only happens with external Warm Transfers. Internal to Ring Central transfers are not affected by this issue and the agent goes Unavailable for the preset time, then back to Available.I would like to know if there is a way to stop this from happening when transferring a call to an external number.

Related to ticket: 07948600The NetGear R7000 should be a preferred router, based on the R6400 recommendation from RingCentral as a recommended router.I am posting these details in case someone has investigated this problem and solved it better than I did. glip was working well for me this morning 3/12 until about 10am est. when it told me to click update when prompted. I had to close my browser when i did I signed back in but no calendar or ability to do much of anything within the app. Why would the service be getting an update in the middle of the morning during a work week? It's hard to use an all in one app for my calls and schedule if I cant see my schedule or add to it.

Using the RC Phone ApplicationWhen I receive an external call through our business line, If I try to transfer this to another extension in the Network it will not work. The call just goes back to myself as the first point of contact.If somebody within our RC System calls my extension and I go to transfer the call to another extension, this works. Anybody know the reason behind my issue with external call transferring?

Our customer service team has been using the Phone app pretty regularly to text our customers. They've been adding them in the contact directory to keep track. Going forward, they will also be using Glip for the team features. However, what they've noticed is that the customers they've texted before show up under the People section in Glip, but only their phone numbers, not their names. Why doesn't Glip pull the corresponding names from the Phone app? Or am I missing something?

When I am on the website, I click the small arrow but no sounds from the recording playback - I have to dwnload the mp3 file and play it to hear the msg. This was working before but not now - using Firefox 65.0.2 - any clues to fix this?

When answering a call via a soft phone, I want to transfer a call to another team member and click the warm transfer button. If the number I am calling is a mobile and it goes to their voicemail, I can get back to the original call but is there any way I can end the call to the team member. It seems to just leave it in limbo until I have completed the call. There is no end call button for the team member. Am I missing something?

ATA Re connection Issue Every time I lose internet service for a second, surge or whatever, The ATA router never reconnects. Calling tech support does nothing as they follow the script of turn it off and on. Obviously an issue as it happens every time I have a momentary drop in internet service.

We are in the process of migrating to RingCentral for several sites. At one site I am trying to set up a line that will only be used to dial in to a paging system by users located physically at the same site. According to RC support, as soon as we connect hardware to a line (Cisco SPA122 in this case) a DID is required. The problem is that I dont want external calls to be able to reach the paging system. The only way I can see to get the setup I need, is to enable "block all calls" on the paging line, and then populate the approved numbers list with every number at that particular site (not many so not an issue).Is this the best way to set this up? Is there really no way to generate an internal only "virtual extension" that we can point to the SPA122? Or to just block external access to the DID?Follow up question, if this is indeed the correct path, will the approved users be able to dial the paging line using the direct extension? After request for porting for some numbers initiated, RingCentral using Super Admin's Name as a CNAM for these numbers. That affect all calls from these numbers showing Super Admin's name instead of actual/desired name. Why don't you have a field for that and use it for an appropriate CNAM? It really confusing users when call shows wrong person's name. Again, this is ONLY for internal Ring Central users. We have multiple sites and each of them has different CNAM, such as 'Building A', 'Building B', 'Building C'. I porting multiple numbers from all of them. Multiple numbers from multiple sites are scheduled/pending for porting. Now when someone call from these numbers Super Admin's name displays for CNAM! WHY???

WHY does transferring numbers into RC now take over 2 weeks? The last 3 numbers I have transferred in to RC have all provided a "scheduled" date of 2 weeks before they will even start the process. We have provided 100% of all required info (acct number, pin #, owner info, copy of bill, etc.).We have also transferred several numbers to other telco companies and they have been able to complete number transfers (porting) in 3 to 12 hrs - not days!This makes it very hard to sell to new customers we service, when we can set them up on RC almost instantly, but then it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get their number(s) transferred. We are loosing customers over this.

I saved my password using my email as the login l on Feb 6, 2019. I have been using Glip account since then. I just tried logging in again. RingCentral says my email address isn't valid. I am in the U.S and use a Mac (v10.14.3).

Is there any way to change the ring tone on my iphone for the app? It uses a different one than my regular calls, but I don't want to use the xylophone which seems to be the default.

I am looking for an installable copy of version 10.2 for my Windows desktop. I installed 10.3 this morning and my mic wouldn't work. I contacted Support and they don't have it.

When I am making phone calls. I usually press 0 for operator and things like that. Before the 10.3.5 update, I was able to just press keys on my keyboard to input as a touch tone phone. Now that doesn't work unless I click the "Keypad" button during the call.

When Do Not Accept Call Queue Calls are turned off on Ringcentral Phone and you go from Available to Do Not Disturb on Glip it automatically turns your Ringcentral Phone to Accept Queue Calls. This did not use to happen. It started happening in one of the latest updates. Can you change so that the Queue Call toggle button doesn't get turned on in the Phone when available in Glip?

When trying to call a co-worker using just the extension in the new RC mobile app, it doesn't work. We get a recorded message that says " Sorry your call cannot be completed" then a fast busy signal. Extensions work using the desktop app. Is there a setting in the mobile app to allow dialing extensions and not the entire 10 digit number?

So I finding the industries and competition is becoming dirty and just using system to mess with us... I real compliment to our work.. ha.. although it is taking away from productivity which is the reason they doing this... sending deal VM to our system regularly four times a day.. I have 3 voice prompts and 2 ext's. When I'm logged in on ext101 I can see all missed calls and receive VM's on the app. The challenge is when calls come to ext 102, I don't see missed calls and the VM gets emailed to me from RC stating I need to log into ext 102 to listen to it. Im a small operation and have "super admin" rights, why does one have to log in and out all the time?
