After request for porting for some numbers initiated, RingCentral using Super Admin's Name as a CNAM for these numbers. That affect all calls from these numbers showing Super Admin's name instead of actual/desired name. Why don't you have a field for that and use it for an appropriate CNAM? It really confusing users when call shows wrong person's name. Again, this is ONLY for internal Ring Central users. We have multiple sites and each of them has different CNAM, such as 'Building A', 'Building B', 'Building C'. I porting multiple numbers from all of them. Multiple numbers from multiple sites are scheduled/pending for porting. Now when someone call from these numbers Super Admin's name displays for CNAM! WHY???

WHY does transferring numbers into RC now take over 2 weeks? The last 3 numbers I have transferred in to RC have all provided a "scheduled" date of 2 weeks before they will even start the process. We have provided 100% of all required info (acct number, pin #, owner info, copy of bill, etc.).We have also transferred several numbers to other telco companies and they have been able to complete number transfers (porting) in 3 to 12 hrs - not days!This makes it very hard to sell to new customers we service, when we can set them up on RC almost instantly, but then it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get their number(s) transferred. We are loosing customers over this.

I saved my password using my email as the login l on Feb 6, 2019. I have been using Glip account since then. I just tried logging in again. RingCentral says my email address isn't valid. I am in the U.S and use a Mac (v10.14.3).

Is there any way to change the ring tone on my iphone for the app? It uses a different one than my regular calls, but I don't want to use the xylophone which seems to be the default.

I am looking for an installable copy of version 10.2 for my Windows desktop. I installed 10.3 this morning and my mic wouldn't work. I contacted Support and they don't have it.

When I am making phone calls. I usually press 0 for operator and things like that. Before the 10.3.5 update, I was able to just press keys on my keyboard to input as a touch tone phone. Now that doesn't work unless I click the "Keypad" button during the call.

When Do Not Accept Call Queue Calls are turned off on Ringcentral Phone and you go from Available to Do Not Disturb on Glip it automatically turns your Ringcentral Phone to Accept Queue Calls. This did not use to happen. It started happening in one of the latest updates. Can you change so that the Queue Call toggle button doesn't get turned on in the Phone when available in Glip?

When trying to call a co-worker using just the extension in the new RC mobile app, it doesn't work. We get a recorded message that says " Sorry your call cannot be completed" then a fast busy signal. Extensions work using the desktop app. Is there a setting in the mobile app to allow dialing extensions and not the entire 10 digit number?

So I finding the industries and competition is becoming dirty and just using system to mess with us... I real compliment to our work.. ha.. although it is taking away from productivity which is the reason they doing this... sending deal VM to our system regularly four times a day.. Finally one and for all..

I have 3 voice prompts and 2 ext's. When I'm logged in on ext101 I can see all missed calls and receive VM's on the app. The challenge is when calls come to ext 102, I don't see missed calls and the VM gets emailed to me from RC stating I need to log into ext 102 to listen to it. Im a small operation and have "super admin" rights, why does one have to log in and out all the time?

Has this been fixed yet?

Admins should know how long an agent has been on a live call for. Or how long they have been waiting for a call for.

Hi,My account is in the UK.I am a small one man business and have been using ring central for a few years now. I have 3 different numbers coming into the system all set up the same, coming through to either my yealink on my desk or through to my mobile (cell) using the app.What I am looking to do is set my system up so that during the day, say from 09.00 to 19.00, the phones will ring and if nobody answers then it goes to answer machine, like it does already. After this time, I dont want the phones to ring and go directly to the same answer machine message. Basically out of hours I just want the answer machine to kick in without it waking us up in the house, where I have my office.Im sure this can be done but I just cant find an idiots guide to it without me making a complete mess.If anybody can help it would be really appreciated.ThanksNick

I'm based in the UK and have just got a load of Polycom VVX600 phones to replace the desktop app, mainly as they are supported on RingCentral and our Bluetooth headphone work seamlessly with them.The problem I have, is that none work guide the assisted provision steps. I have to use the manual process.I have upgraded one phone to the very latest Polycom Firmware and still no joy.Does the assisted process provide additional features/integration with the RingCentral server, that you do not get when manually provisioning them?

Disabe email uniqueness requirement please. I'm at a nonprofit that has people come and go fairly regularly. So in between them we need to return the their extensions to a generic email address. Like when the extension was created. However ringcetnral doesn't allow that once the extension has been configured. Please add this new feature! I do not want to have to keep extensions attached to nonexistent employees and don't have that enough emails use for this purpose.

We have 5 users, we have our main number forwarded to each person's extension simultaneously for all to answer at their desks during the day. If no one answers we would like that to be forwarded directly to the main phone voicemail... not each person's individual forwarding list. How do we separate where the main number forwards from where the individual extension calls get forwarded?

Hi - when not on WIFI and using my RC phone app - what is the usage per minute for an active call ?I assume calls to me or from me , both generate data consumption drawn off my monthly allowance.

IS there a way to change a limited extension into a full extension on the Admin Portal, or does it require a call to RingCentral?

Since the latest RingCentral Phone Desktop update, the commonly-used keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C to copy text from a SMS conversation window no longer works.Text in an SMS conversation can be highlighted, but the commonly-used keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C does nothing.

Want to be able to log in my softphone from home without having to disable my office. I was told this was on the roadmap for last fall, but I still haven't seen it. What's the status? Thanks.

The "call me" feature why is not enabled for all users!!! this will make it amazing.. This option should be in the PHONE CALL" and "COMPUTER AUDIO"

Hi! I have the Ring Central small business phone system and am just getting set up. When I signed up I was told the the phone app on the phone was secured by a passcode and that you wouldn't be able to access the app without inputting some sort of security code. This is important for HIPAA compliant businesses, but I'm not seeing any options for this. My app just lets me open it with no security code and online customer support was not able to answer this question. Anyone know?

We are using the Plycom desk phone and I am being told I cannot change the caller ID on outgoing calls. When I call clients or potential clients the caller ID is not my business name. It is the name of a man who used to have this number via Verizon. This is unacceptable and I need to have this issue resolved ASAP.

Is there a way for us to add roles in every users not to access the contacts?

Our company only uses the RingCentral App/Glip because we prefer to only use one app to do everything (make/receive calls, send messages etc). However, we also like to use the RingCentral for Google extension so we can "click-to-call" from our browser since our CRM/ATS system is browser-based.The issue we're running into is that RingCentral for Google only allows us to make calls using RingCentral Phone for desktop NOT RingCentral App/Glip. There is no setting option for Make Calls in Google using RingCentral App. Unless I'm missing it?This seems silly since you've got this almost all inclusive app (RingCentral App/Glip) but then the google integration makes you call using the RingCentral Phone. So you end up having to use both apps anyway (unless you call in browser).Would it be possible to add "Make Calls using RingCentral App" to the Google integration settings?
