if the new ringcentral app is supposed to replace the phone app, then it needs to have the same features including the URI setup so i can click to have a phone number called when it has the TEL: url the old phone app has this, it is very weird that you don't have the same capability in this new app.

Starting yesterday my users will have their cell phone call dropped if they get a call through the RC app. I opened a case with them, but I can't imagine this is isolated just to my users. My current case number is 09661024. I know one user has an iPhone, not sure about the other. If the user is on an RC call and a call comes into the cell phone, the call isn't dropped. If she is on an RC call and another call comes in, she says the first RC call is dropped, but the tech support guy said the call wasn't. I believe the system just didn't think the call was dropped.

Is there a way to monitor Glip messages? I know its no longer called Glip but thats what it is to us.Also, I am an Admin on InContact but am unsure if I am on Glip, how can I check this?

I just dialed one number and it went through to a completely different number. I tried a second time and the same thing happened again. Never had this problem before.

Our team is having issues w/ a lot of calls being dropped. Is there a way to solve this?

The HUD is not refreshing. It shows people are on calls, when in actual fact the call is finished & they're not on a call any longer. The only resolution I can see is logging out of the app & then logging back

Account Type U.SI am using ring the central phone app on a Vodafone 4G cell phone and I am unable to send texts. when I called the tech support they said Vodafone does not support texting which the sales team never shared initially. Now what's funny is a friend who referred me to ring central was sitting in the same room with me and we both were using the same network to send texts and he was able to but not me. I asked the technical support guy real time that how is this possible and his answer was he is lucky, that's why. Really??

Since a recent update to 19.8.1 of the RC app (Glip), we can no longer see all our Teams. The number of Teams shown in the left-side navigator pane is controlled by the Preferences setting 'Max Conversations' (number; limit: 60) - itself a bit of obscure naming but acceptable. If we set this to a reasonable number such as 9, to avoid having to scroll the navigator excessively, only the 9 most recently active Teams are shown. Before the update we could click on the Teams category to see the full list in the main window but this now only collapses and expands the Teams category.Is there some other way to get to the full list? Hello RingCentral, today I have an issue pertaining to the deletion of tasks that perhaps interferes with the HIPAA setting.In my business, we started to integrate reoccurring tasks that repeat on a monthly, up to bi-monthly basis - however there is a problem. These tasks have been deleted off their respective chats automatically. I'd like to infer that it is because we have the HIPAA setting enabled and so past 30 days it would be automatically deleted to fulfill the setting rules.Is there anyway we can override that setting for specific chats/tasks/etc?It seems a bit off that we can 'create' a task that is reoccurring up to a year-basis, yet on the HIPAA setting it states TASKS are deleted after 30 days.And so I am here with this issue at my workplace, having to recreate the missing tasks in the mean time.Possible solution?

Wanting to know the call rates to the UK?

So the sms function stopped working for some reason through the google chrome extension below is a screenshot of the error it says it needs a valid phone number. ( I am the Admin)I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app rebooting the computer & uninstalling rebooting on my mobile device and I'm still getting the same error i've tried multiple phone numbers and still the same error.so I don't understand why it's not working I tried using the chat service with ringcentral and they were not able to help me and was escalated to another department. Is there anybody out therethat can help!

Why it have only 8 colors for dot for differenciating teams? Red is not even there!And why those colors are not used in the app? It's so difficult to differenciate our teams. Best would be an avatar as for people, but at least color could do it...

I am one of a bunch of support reps in a roll-over phone queue, and I want to start taking certain hours off every day. Can I till RingCentral to do that automatically?

Using RingCentral App version 20.2.10 (E.7.1.8) and received a notification to try a beta app. I did not proceed because I wanted more information regarding the beta version. I've been unable to find any information. Can anyone provide more information? Here's a screenshot of the notification.

I have a client who runs a company number report and the data shows 61 calls when looking at the trends and 126 calls in the call detail. What is the methodology for calculating calls to a company number and why would this be different than what is reported in the call detail?

i am in Canada. I had the prompt to updated RingCentral this morning, after it reopened after the update, RC app keeps loading. I have tried to close and open it few times, but no luck. Please le me know if anyone has a fix.

I keep getting this error every time I try to make a phone call or text from the browser with 1-click. Then it says it is due to internal error. I am able to maybe get 1 phone call in until it locks for 60 seconds at a time and sometimes even more.

Even when the "Play sound when participants join or leave" is turned off for all of our users, the chime is still be played when someone enters a meeting. Why is this and how can we change it?

We are based in the UK and use softphones. We have 20 users and they are inconsistently experiencing sound drop out on calls.They will answer a call - hear the request - put the caller on hold - then try and retrieve the call however they can hear no sound. The caller can however hear them. We usually explain there is a technical fault and transfer the call back to themselves. Then answer this 'new' call and the sound is restored. This has been occurring for over a year with minimal help from RingCentral support. They have conducted tests on our line but usually the issue does not occur during their tests.Its worth noting that this happens with incoming and outgoing calls. It usually only occurs when the caller has been placed on hold for longer than around 15 seconds.Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions as to what the issue could be? My work laptop is Windows 10 (64bit). I uninstalled the RingCentral Meeting App and RingCentral App because the RingCentral Meetings options were greyed out in the RingCentral Desktop App.I restarted the laptop and downloaded the latest RingCentral Desktop app(20.2.2-x64), but the installation fails. When I click the "Open Setup Log" button nothing happens.I am able to use the RingCentral app on my iPhone, but I really need to get it back on my work Laptop as well.
