Why are the notifications of missed calls and texts suddenly lagging?

It seems like after this most recent update all of our missed call and text notifications are really delayed. I'll get a missed call notification 3 days after I missed the call and I stay logged into the desktop app. It's happening to mobile app users as well. Is this happening to anyone else.
