This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Login Problem: IESnare javascript - service is temporarily unavailable. I'm getting the following error during login: "The service is temporarily unavailable. Check your network connection and try again later"
It seems to be caused by my adblocker blocking a javascript code called IEsnare:
https://mpsnare.iesnare.com/snare.jsDoes anyone know why this code is required for login and what it does?? It seems to be from a company called "iovation" which says:
What is iesnare?
iesnare is simply the name of the web services that iovation has developed to fight fraud and criminal activity. If consumers examine the code of a webpage protected by iovation, they may see references to API calls to iesnare. Unfortunately, because of the nuanced way in which device-intelligence fraud solutions work and the nature of the fraud and abuse they stop, misinformation sometimes takes hold. We hope this page helped clarify the facts.
Still not sure why Ring Central requires this code to login to their service. If I unblock IESnare, login works correctly.
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Ublock enabled then issue start with ringcentral website. any additional resolution aside from disabling ublock in chrome browser for service.ringcentral.com to work?
At minimum change that error message popup to mention the adblock could be causing login issues.
Ideally you would fix your systems not to require whatever this is.
Right now the solution provided is to essentially turn off an antivirus. Our website is malfunctioning due to your antivirus so please disable it.
Happened the same to me. I had
K7 Antivirus installed and the firewall settings were enabled. So, I disabled them and the other few extensions from my browser and it worked.
