Hello,We had a bunch of missed calls for about 2 hours today in a call queue and I am wondering if it is possible to check the status of the people within the queue at the time the calls were missed?

We have a call queue for our main knowledge center. The call queue manager reported an issue wherein all callers are unavailable during business hours and a call will not automatically go to voicemail. The queue is set up to wait for a given time before going to voicemail. There is no option for a caller to be sent right to voicemail with a different message (all agents are busy, if you'd like to leave a voicemail press 1). But we have a recording of this message that we've put into the call queue previously that say this, but not the option is no longer there. The call queue manager has said something has changed in the past few weeks. I have a ticket open with RC and they say that's never been an option. I'm trying not to pass judgement on either side, but I know this person and they are kind of a stickler for how their call center runs. Is it possible there WAS a change and the RC tech doesn't know that? Is there a setting we're missing?

A user in our company has an issue where the RingCentral desktop application shuts down unexpectedly and tries to reinstall itself. I have tried to uninstall the program and then download it again but the issue persists. For now I have her use the browser version but I want to know if there is a fix available or planned.

We are a medical office and new to Ring Central. Like all medical practice in the U.S., we are required to use a HIPAA compliant Fax cover page.There are several ways to send Faxes but only one that lets you choose a custom Fax cover page (The Ring Central Phone Desktop App)We would like to be able to send Faxes using other methods (especially Email to Fax)Just wondering if anyone has discovered a work aroundThanks in advance

When answering on headphones for the first 10 seconds the caller's voice is very faint. How can I rectify this? It is very annoying especially working in a very loud office.

I need to be able to copy the same 5 people for every SMS message I send. Is there a way to create a group and include them - example - SalesProspect (individual) plus SalesTeam (5 people in my back office group) - without having to manually add the 5 people every time?

I have been using this wifi connection for two months now all of a sudden I cannot receive or make phone calls due to 'network error' there is no issue with my wifi or phone connection, can anyone please advise?

Since the new app was released and we can no longer log into the call queue lines from the new app we have found that we have NO way to access text messages being sent to the call queue. This is a big problem for my business and needs rectified immediately. Has anyone found a work around or a solution to this?,If anyone has figured out how to access their call queue text messages since the new app has come out can you please share? We have nothing but problems with the call queue line since the new app has been released. We can only access the voicemails on this line by going in through the admin portal and call queue management. The app won't allow us to log into call queue any longer. SO FRUSTRATING!!!! We are missing messages bc of this.

I am trying to find out what the cost per SMS Message is and if there is a limit to the number of texts that can be sent on a monthly basis. In looking at the SMS Log I am seeing costs of .0085, .0017 and .0013 for each segment but am not sure how those values are generated. We do not subscribe to a SMS plan since our texting volume is fairly low.Any insight would be appreciated.Thank you

How to send Faxes via Email? The Faxes Sent via Email section is missing from Fax settings.I'm following these instructions: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Setting-up-a-fax-cover-page.html?brand=RingCentral&product=MVP&language=en_US The "Faxes Sent via Email" section shown in the documentation simply doesn't exist in the "Fax Settings" section, so I can't add an email that has permission to fax. This section is missing when I look at it from the admin side and from the individual user side. Notice also that I am not able to check the checkbox "Allow this user to send faxes using Email-to-fax"

We are new to RingCentral and can't figure out how to solve this. We are using the queue calls aspect so anyone can answer any call coming in to our main line from their desk phone throughout the building. The problem is that it general calls also ring the mobile app when employees are on the road. We only want direct calls to ring the app as well as their desk phone. Our previous company we had to switch from to RingCentral had this capability. RingCentral, which is supposedly far superior to our previous company surely must be able to do this as well. Right? I get yelled at 3x's a day because I can not figure out how to resolve this issue so employees aren't getting general calls on their cellphone. Please help!

Currently we use a cloud service for faxing (because we have one dept. that can receive anywhere from 500 to1000 health care related faxes a day) because of the limitations of RingCentral faxing, we are looking into RingCentral Archiver and/or RingClone so that faxes can be archived on a regular basis. We have a company built Software that is able to access the fax folder within the cloud fax service vendors platform and extract a group of faxes for processing, does anyone know if either Archiver noted above has this type of accessibility (via API, etc.)?Does anyone maybe have this same scenario and use a different Archiver platform?I hope the above makes sense.......

For the past three months we've been having issues with group text messages where if we send out a group text message and someone in the group has T-Mobile, that person does not receive a group text message. Instead, they receive an individual text message from us and when they respond, it only comes back to us. This becomes an issue when say borrowers, agents, brokers, attorneys, etc. are all trying to get on the same page and the person using T-Mobile only sees the text from us and none of the other recipient's responses. It's been causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. We've run into this numerous times now and are able to easily replicate the issue. We even replicated it when it first started happening with Customer Support during our first 3-hour call to them trying to fix this. We were told then that no one else has reported the issue, everything looks fine on their end, and for us to contact T-Mobile. We're all setup with TCR as far as having a regis

Multiple times when in a video meeting, we have had issues where if you attempt to change the background, the application crashes. Is this a known issue and how can we fix it?

When talking to clients we use a recording service, the agent calls the client, then merges them with the recording service.While merging the calls a code has to be put in (claim #) so that the recording can be pulled up at a later date.I have 1 (all other agents have no trouble) agent that has an issue with the code, when she types it in via the dial pad or using the numbers on her keyboard the numbers duplicate.No trouble with placing calls otherwiseEX: she dials 12345, but it registers as 1122334455therefore the code is rejected because it is too many digits.Has anyone seen this issue before, if so, what was the resolution?Maybe RingCentral is not the issue, but if I report the trouble to the Recording Company I can tell them I already researched the RingCentral side

I'm considering installing a polycom ATA via RingCentral to allow some of my staff to still send outgoing faxes via our old fax machine. I'd like to still have all incoming faxes go to email and NOT to the old machine. Is this possible? Anyone have this type of setup or know of how to set this up when I install my ATA?

Hello,The user can't place a call, but they can receive calls with no issues. When an outgoing call is placed the bad connection message comes up and the call is dropped. This only happens when the user is working from home, and it happens with the desktop app and web app.Now the strange part is the RC desktop & web app work fine if the user is working from the office. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help and it doesn't.

Let's say I place a call on hold in my office, then I walk to my associate's office and have a conversation with him. My associate wants to speak to the caller. Is there any way my associate can pick up the call holding in my office extension? Or do I need to walk back to my office and park the call or transfer the call to my associate's office? We have Yealink W56H handheld wireless phones.

The big boss wants a hardware phone in the office and a hardware phone at home. Shared Line seems like the only way to accomplish this. What problems can I expect by using a shared line for this purpose?

I submitted a new brand registration (BAEYV8R) yesterday. In the admin portal, it says "please wait a few minutes". Well, it is still Pending. I've tried calling support 2x, they are no help. Actually, they don't even seem knowledgeable on the process at all! Anyone have a tip how to get this moving along? Hi all, could use some help with figuring out the best way to do this.Right now I have two "DigitalLine Unlimited" lines/user accounts from the former Standard plan offering (I think that's what the plan was called), and two Polycom physical desktop phones for these two lines/user accounts.I'm building out a home office where I would like to have another Polycom desktop phone for use only on the days I am working from home.This new home office Polycom phone and my current Office Polycom phone would never be in use at the same time.Can someone please help me demystify what I need to configure/add/upgrade to my account for this to work per above with respect to incoming and outgoing calling ability.Thanks so much!

This is ridiculous that RingCentral tries to load up Outlook in my Windows machine when I never configured any integration. I do not use Outlook so this prompt is a nuisance. How do I stop this from occurring?
