Why do replies to texts sent from mobile app go to personal text?

Should replies to text messages sent from the mobile app come to RingCentral or my personal text message? Mine coming back to personal cell number so I cannot reply from RingCentral (do not want to reply from personal number since I do not want to give that out). Is there a setting that controls this? I cannot find one...
