I am trying to stream call from RingCentral CX using gRPC server. Found the following page: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/using-streaming-nodes-in-ringcx-workflow-studio.html  However, this page does not provide any detailed information regarding the gRPC server implementation. Here we only must provide server address with security credentials. I mainly have three questions:  To implement gRPC server, clients need to know which server function to call. And I don’t see any scope where I can provide “. proto” file or configure the client streaming data through dedicated server function. How can I configure the call stream to find “.proto” schema?  I found a detailed implementation using WebSocket Server (WSS) (https://developers.ringcentral.com/engage/voice/guide/workforce/call-streaming/getting-started ). Is there any such working demo which implements a gRPC server?  Once we create a streaming workflow, is it applied to every call for every agent in the company? Or is it

Hi Team, I am trying to filter only incoming calls to account and trying to use “/restapi/v1.0/account/${accountId}/telephony/sessions?direction=Inbound” BUT this is giving both in bound and outbound calls as Inbound in notifications. Example: - when a customer calls an extension account that call is recorded as in bound with TO address as account extension -When we call back customer from account extension it is also recorded as in bound with TO address as customer phone number.  any idea on this issue ?  ThanksMahesh 

Hi, RingCentral Community!I'm working on integrating RingCentral's API into my application and am currently facing an issue with setting up webhook events and handling RingOut calls.While I can successfully initiate a RingOut call and receive an authentication token, the webhook events for Call Received or Message Received are not being triggered as expected. I have already configured the webhook URL and subscribed to the required events, but I haven't been able to see any webhook logs or event data coming through.Has anyone else faced this issue? Any tips or advice on how to troubleshoot webhook event subscriptions, or perhaps additional configurations I might have missed?I’d appreciate any guidance or pointers to get this resolved.Looking forward to hearing from you!

Is it possible to retrieve voicemail transcription using python sdk?I am getting the following response from the message when calling the message-store API/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/{extension_id}/message-store'Then using the uri in the message, which I am hoping is the ascii transcription but unsure how to get it from the api response. What would be the correct way to retrieve the transcription from a voicemail using python SDK? 

I have an agent named Mike(RingCentral user) who receives calls from clients, and a supervisor named Jamal(Another ring central user) who listens to the calls silently.Right now, I am using this API:/telephony/sessions/{telephonySessionId}/superviseThis API allows the supervisor to listen to the call between the agent and the client, but it uses a mixed audio channel, so I cannot identify who is speaking.Now, I am trying to use the Call Party API:/telephony/sessions/{telephonySessionId}/parties/{partyId}/superviseThis API supports single-channel supervision, which should allow me to detect who is speaking.However, it requires an agentExtensionId for both the agent and the client.We have an extension ID for the agent it supervise the call for agent like it know that this is the agent, but the client does not have an extension ID.When I try to supervise the client party, the API returns a 409 Conflict error.How can I supervise both parties when the client does not have an extension ID?Pl

Hello, I have set up a workflow with Zoho Flow to send an SMS based on the status of a lead. The SMS should be sent from the phone number of ANY lead owner/user that has changed the lead status. The lead owner/user has a ring central account and a phone number. However, the flow will only work for me, the person that has configured the wrkflow. For all other owners/user, I get this error: "RingCentral says \"In order to call this API endpoint for another extension, one of the following permissions [OutboundSMS] have to be granted with extended scope to the authorized user.\""Why oh why is something that's so simple somehow made rather complicated by Ringcentral?

Hi, I reviewed the documentation but couldn’t find any references to webhook subscriptions for Video Calls. We have a need to download RC video recordings and ideally our platform is notified via webhook. We currently use subscriptions for phone calls and that works well.Does anyone know if it’s supported at all? I know the Video APIs are in beta so I’m not sure if the docs are somewhere else or if it’s just not supported.Thanks!

I recently switched to Frontier. I tried using my previous phone with a Cisco adapter, but it didn’t work. The RingCentral team recommended a Yealink phone, saying it would work immediately once installed, so I purchased it — but it also doesn’t work.Because of this, I spent the entire day on the phone trying to resolve the issue. At this point, after so many calls, I’m so confused that I don’t even know what the problem is anymore, where I am, or who I am. And still, nothing has been fixed.I really don’t know what to do next or how to solve this. I’m overwhelmed, I haven’t gotten any work done, and I think I’m completely burned out.Please help.

We have been using Redtail CRM x RingCentral Extension for call handling going on 4 years. We’ve dealt with one-off issues here and there but for the most part, it’s work seamlessly. For the past 2 months we’ve started to experience problems - if someone calls the office main line, I answer then forward to the proper office extension, that office extension answers in the ringcentral extension within redtail, but cannot hear the client on the line. Now immediately after hanging up, the office extension can dial out to the client it works fine. Or if the office extension answers the call directly, no problems there. It appears the problem is when the call is forwarded. Important note: none of the audio/microphone settings were changed. After we experience the problem, i will then test the same exact process, it then will work. Its extremely frustrating and unprofessional.  ETA: as of this morning I redownloaded the ringcentral extension to the office extension redtail. I tested it twice

I’m working on a PoC for SMS Opt In/Out with our CRM. I'm performing the following request in a Java app using the latest SDK. Can you help me troubleshoot what permission/access I might be missing? I have already gone through the getting started tutorial and performed a successful “Ring Out” request, so I know that other REST requests do work.

I am trying to retrieve all  Transcripts , for the entire account, that occurred in  a date range, or possibly where the AI was completed in the date range   i would like to just use  http requests as opposed to the Ringcentral library.  is this possible?

Hello, When using the URI to open the RingCentral app and make a call (rcapp://r/call?number={phoneNumber}), is there a parameter to specify the number that I am calling from? We have separate numbers that we dial out on, depending on the department. Thanks 

I wanted to get a Teams notification each time a change occurs on our platform, like a user is updated or deleted - so we could see if people are adding or deleting people without us knowing. The Subscriptions API sounded ideal - and it’s working, to an extent. Each time there’s an update to an extension (user), I get a notification via Webhook to Teams.The problem is, the content of the “event” is… minimal. And I’m not sure how I’m meant to do much with it.This is an example of the body of an event:"body":{"extensions":[{"extensionId":"xxxxxx","eventType":"Update","hints":["ExtensionInfo","CompanyNumbers"]}]}}', 'isBase64Encoded': False}I get that I’m meant to use the Hints values to query that Extension and I can see the new Extension information. Is it possible to add a new contact (a name and number for example) via the API so when a customer signs up there info is automatically added to RingCentral so if and when they call we have their name to show on the screen?

Hi all! We have been having an ongoing issue for weeks that has become quite frustrating. Every time we run a campaign (even if the campaign is still open) we are unable to download any reports regarding that campaign. It is pivotal that we have that information as that excel sheet is the basis for follow-up campaigns the next week. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are at our wits end. I've included a screenshot from this morning for a campaign that closed less than 24 hours ago. Ring Central support told us to reach out on this platform and tag @Phong Vu for help
