I am trying to find out what the cost per SMS Message is and if there is a limit to the number of texts that can be sent on a monthly basis. In looking at the SMS Log I am seeing costs of .0085, .0017 and .0013 for each segment but am not sure how those values are generated. We do not subscribe to a SMS plan since our texting volume is fairly low.Any insight would be appreciated.Thank you

How to send Faxes via Email? The Faxes Sent via Email section is missing from Fax settings.I'm following these instructions: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Setting-up-a-fax-cover-page.html?brand=RingCentral&product=MVP&language=en_US The "Faxes Sent via Email" section shown in the documentation simply doesn't exist in the "Fax Settings" section, so I can't add an email that has permission to fax. This section is missing when I look at it from the admin side and from the individual user side. Notice also that I am not able to check the checkbox "Allow this user to send faxes using Email-to-fax"

We are performing oauth against a sandbox app. The generated url is https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/authorize......................... Which is normal. As of just recently, that is now 302'ing us to `https://login.ringcentral.biz ` Which is complaining about sandbox accounts not being supported. Is there a path forward? This is new. It was working just a couple days ago and we were not being 302'd,I tried to perform oauth against a sandbox app. The url generated was `https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/authorize ...............` as usual but that URL is now 302'ing me to `https://login.ringcentral.biz `. And logging in there tells me that sandbox accounts aren't supported.The 302 is new. It never did that before for us. Is there a path forward?

I have the RC to SF integration all set up and it appears to work. I do have Softphone layouts made and assigned to profiles but get the error below. Any ideas?

Currently we use a cloud service for faxing (because we have one dept. that can receive anywhere from 500 to1000 health care related faxes a day) because of the limitations of RingCentral faxing, we are looking into RingCentral Archiver and/or RingClone so that faxes can be archived on a regular basis. We have a company built Software that is able to access the fax folder within the cloud fax service vendors platform and extract a group of faxes for processing, does anyone know if either Archiver noted above has this type of accessibility (via API, etc.)?Does anyone maybe have this same scenario and use a different Archiver platform?I hope the above makes sense.......

For the past three months we've been having issues with group text messages where if we send out a group text message and someone in the group has T-Mobile, that person does not receive a group text message. Instead, they receive an individual text message from us and when they respond, it only comes back to us. This becomes an issue when say borrowers, agents, brokers, attorneys, etc. are all trying to get on the same page and the person using T-Mobile only sees the text from us and none of the other recipient's responses. It's been causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. We've run into this numerous times now and are able to easily replicate the issue. We even replicated it when it first started happening with Customer Support during our first 3-hour call to them trying to fix this. Multiple times when in a video meeting, we have had issues where if you attempt to change the background, the application crashes. Is this a known issue and how can we fix it?

When talking to clients we use a recording service, the agent calls the client, then merges them with the recording service.While merging the calls a code has to be put in (claim #) so that the recording can be pulled up at a later date.I have 1 (all other agents have no trouble) agent that has an issue with the code, when she types it in via the dial pad or using the numbers on her keyboard the numbers duplicate.No trouble with placing calls otherwiseEX: she dials 12345, but it registers as 1122334455therefore the code is rejected because it is too many digits.Has anyone seen this issue before, if so, what was the resolution?Maybe RingCentral is not the issue, but if I report the trouble to the Recording Company I can tell them I already researched the RingCentral side

I'm considering installing a polycom ATA via RingCentral to allow some of my staff to still send outgoing faxes via our old fax machine. I'd like to still have all incoming faxes go to email and NOT to the old machine. Is this possible? Anyone have this type of setup or know of how to set this up when I install my ATA?

We have a Spectrum Business Connect phone number that is absolutely never dialed. It is my understanding (I didn’t set it up) that this line is ”pointed to” our company main phone number 972–304-1800 that is managed by RingCentral. With RingCentral we have this 972-304-1800 number forwarding all calls to the owner’s cell phone exclusively. Business phone 972-304-1800 cannot accept text messages nor the number assigned to us by Spectrum. Everything actually comes to and from a cell phone managed by a third party. We practically never text with a customer or vendor - it is an odd occurrence if ever done. Do we need to register? Which number do we register?

I have a Lead management system; I need to integrate Ringcentral with that.When a staff clicked a lead call button, start the call from browser. and also they need to take an incoming call from browser. If the staff is not available in front of the system, Call will forward to the phone we already mapped.I am the admin of this Lead manager and I will configure the Ringcentral App details in LeadManager Settings. Staff don't need to authenticate with Ringcentral again.1. Is this possible with RingCentral ?2. I tried with web phone JS, But it looks like need to authenticate for each user.3. I am using PHP & JS for implement this. When I configure app credentials in JS, public can access that. Instead, any option to authenticate from server and use token for JS ? What is the meaning of the master leg in a call log when it is read in detailed mode?

Hello,The user can't place a call, but they can receive calls with no issues. When an outgoing call is placed the bad connection message comes up and the call is dropped. This only happens when the user is working from home, and it happens with the desktop app and web app.Now the strange part is the RC desktop & web app work fine if the user is working from the office. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help and it doesn't.

I am developing an app that uses the Telephony Session Events. The problem we face is detecting when the call is finished reliably. Initially, I assumed the call ended when all the parties involved (parties id) got the "Disconnect" message, but this algorithm failed because the events were not coming in the proper order (ordered sequence number), and on top of this, I cannot rely in the sequence number because is not sequential (there are gaps), so, I cannot assume that if I got the sequence 5, I could wait for the previous sequence in order to sort the events.For instance, I can get the following sequence of event numbers: 3, 5, 2, 4, 7, 6, or I can get something completely different like: 2, 3, 5, 6, 4, 7Can someone point me to the right solution?Thanks!@Phong Vu?

Hello,New to RingCentral.I'm trying to change the meeting invite template for Outlook. This article seems to be the one. However, I don't see the User Extension Settings the article is talking about. Where is that? I'm logged into Admin Portal. I also looked around the app. I logged into the app through the browser, so it should be up to date. Is the article outdated? Our objective is to prevent internal agents from receiving transferred calls unless they are available. Presently, calls are being transferred to agents who may not be ready to take them, causing customers to wait on hold or get stuck in a queue if the agent logs off. To address this issue, we aim to allow transfers only when an agent is in an available status. Implementing a warm transfer process could help avoid these problems. However, we are also exploring the possibility of introducing a system setting or enhancement that would automatically check the availability of agents before enabling the transfer function. This way, the transfer option would only be available for selection when the intended agent is ready to take the call.Is this possible?

Hi all, could use some help with figuring out the best way to do this.Right now I have two "DigitalLine Unlimited" lines/user accounts from the former Standard plan offering (I think that's what the plan was called), and two Polycom physical desktop phones for these two lines/user accounts.I'm building out a home office where I would like to have another Polycom desktop phone for use only on the days I am working from home.This new home office Polycom phone and my current Office Polycom phone would never be in use at the same time.Can someone please help me demystify what I need to configure/add/upgrade to my account for this to work per above with respect to incoming and outgoing calling ability.Thanks so much!

I utilized the download feature n the Adoption & Usage report to further understand what made up the summary at the top of the page. I'm assuming there is some calculations going on in the background since the raw data doesn't match the summary. The summary shows 91,146 total calls but when I calculate the total calls column on the spreadsheet I am getting 168,662.Also, what is considered one call? We use ring groups so the majority of inbound calls hit a ring group before they reach a user. Is this added to both the user and ring groups total calls? Could this be inflating the raw data totals?Any further clarification would be appreciated.Thank you
