Hello allcould you tell me, why scheduled meetings in ringcentral Outlook plugin are not running over Teams? I have windows 11.workaround addin rincentral scheduler for OWA outlook has option "teams Meeting" after activated it ringcentral meeting will be automaticlly carried out in teams. However this option not exist in Outlook app. How can I activate it that all ringcentral meetings will be automatically carried out in teams?thanks you in advanceBest regardsArkadius

In the past I've used MacOS automator workflows that receive text from the RingCentral/Glip desktop app. I just created a new one today and was surprised that when I went to use it the entire "Services" menu was missing from the RingCentral menu. I didn't even know it was possible for a Mac application to not have that submenu. Would it be possible to have that added back? Or is there a way of showing it that I'm not finding?For context, a recent Google drive desktop update has made sharing paths with teammates much harder, I was trying to set up an automator workflow to streamline that.

I see Zoom has announced support for Apple M1 processors today. With RC's underlying tech being "powered by Zoom", should we expect a native Apple Silicon macOS desktop app soon? I'd love to enroll in beta program for this if there is such a thing. Thanks!

I have a phone in a common area and I need to have it automatically dial the receptionist when the handset is picked up. This is a pretty common feature among phone systems, however I have not been able to figure out how to accomplish this. Can someone point me in the right direction?

HiFirst issue:We have the numbers for 3 businesses coming into our RingCentral account. We need these to route initially to users who will only be using the desktop app - when I add the user under the 'call handling' settings and test it, the call goes straight to voicemail.However, if I set the call handling to route the call to a mobile phone number, rather than a RingCentral extension, it routes the call correctly.To work around this, I did manage to get the call to route correctly to RingCentral extensions, by creating a Call Queue - however when the system routes a call via the Call Queue, it does not manage the incoming call announcement correctly, which brings me to my second issue!Second issue:As we have calls for 3 businesses being routed to the same individuals, they need to know which business the caller is trying to reach so they answer the call correctly. Is there a way to have outbound messages with the Instant Message Event? The payload example has a direction, but it seems this is only working for inbound.If this is not the appropriate webhook, can someone point me to the correct event to have instant outbound messages?

I have an employee that says her phone does not ring or show her that a call is coming in for her to answer. Next thing she knows she has a voice mail. We have verified that her settings are correct via the program you can log into and that her DND is not on. What else can it be? Yes her ringer is turned on

I have a mix of Macs in my office from 10.13 to 10.17, when we try to do video conferencing group calls, there is a range of different issues depending on who is calling who:- when click Video call button, no response- click ideal call, then get popup 'start a video call' then click Start button no response.- some users if receive an invite, click Join, no response.Seems that using mobile device android or apple doesnt have issues. Sadly none of my colleagues have patience to work with me to troubleshoot, they just want to get on with other things. and i cant troubleshoot on my own. I suspect related to Safari, thats mostly our default browser, but i have changed mine to Firefox and i couldnt get any different outcomes.Is there anyone having issues on macOS?we are using the macOS Desktop App.

I'm looking for more information regarding the SMS Campaigns app integration for ringcentral. While using the app, the only option when selecting this feature is to go into a web browser and use the tool in the web app gallery after being asked to sign in. I'm not seeing an option to integrate this into the ringcentral app and have it appear in my installed apps section. Having this integrated would be exactly what I'm looking for. Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated!

I am currently a Super Admin, and am taking over the role of a former employee who is also a Super Admin. How can we merge the two accounts, but keep my direct dial with their extension. I am physically moving offices as well.The position I am vacating does NOT need to be a Super Admin.

Right now I get a text message through my Verizon texts telling me that I have a text in RingCentral. Is there no way to turn this in to a push notification rather than a SMS? It gets tiring deleting texts that tell me I have texts.

Hi Im writing automationi have tried to call out via ring central api and to see that in salesforce background api's are being called ( for instance , create task, etc)I have noticed that the automation works only when salesforce UI is opened, and when no instance of salesforce is opened my automation failedExample 1 :SF UI is opened via python automation i take call out with ring central api after call out, i can see in salesforce that task is being created automatically ( i check the soql db via autoamtion)example 2:SF UI is closed via python automation i take call out with ring central api after call out, no task is being created in salesforce ( again i check the soql db via automation)If i understand corrrectly, since we have intergration between SF and RC , when create call from ring central api, and the SF UI is opened, i can see the call is on in SF a

In the call logs API, we are getting the extension id, but not the extension number. Although, when the logs are retrieved from the console, the extension number is populated there. I am spending 4 weeks in the UK and will be working remotely while I'm there. Am I able to take my Ring Central desktop phone with me and plug it into my wifi, and use it through my computer? Will this allow phone calls to come in from the US and allow me to call the US as if i was still in the States, or will there be extra charges associated? On that same note, if this is something I can do, would I be able to still use the call forwarding feature to send phone calls to my mobile phone while in the UK? I am trying to avoid any extra charges and I can't find detailed information about a situation like this.

Hi,We keep getting "Too Many Requests" when using the RingCentral APIs (https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension?page=1&perPage=1000).I found a few posts about this error, but didn't find a solution for this. Can you please suggest a few resolutions (other than changing the API rate limit plan) for this error?

I am able to do the single-sign on but after it signs me in, i am presented with a grey screen that says "sign in failed. please try again (error code 5101) but this is after I sign in? Not sure how to proceed.
