Due to each department having different hours our "Business Hours" are set to 24 hours. We utilize IVR's to manage call routing for business hours and after hours. I'm in the process of reworking a few of them and was wondering how is it determined what IVR takes precedence over another? Are there certain key aspects of each IVR that dictate this?

Is there a way to get notifications of status changes of outbound SMS. As in we have sent an SMS through the API.. can we subscride to a status change event, becuase initially what you get when yuou create the message is 'Queued' is there a way to register (subscribe) to an event/notification that lets you know that the message sent. Looking at the Notifications Types, is it to do with Message Event? as in I would have to subscribe to /restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/message-store?type=SMS&direction=Outboundto receive status changes on sent messages? would that be correct.and for Inbound SMS the event is/restapi/v1.0/account/{

We are using the Windows version of the RingCentral app (version 22.4.34.6382 Windows).On the main call log screen, it shows the Caller's Name that we add on the Contact Card, but it'd be nice if we could also see the Company Name field that is on their contact card.

I'm trying to get an access token for a new sandbox application using JWT, however the REST API keeps responding with OAU-153 Invalid Client ID. The client ID and client secret are definitely correct, as is my JWT token. Hi Team, I'm calling the Call Log API using the code snippet below from both a Sandbox environment and a Live environment (one of our customers), and the Call Log that is created from this always shows up with empty data. Both the Sandbox and Live environment have information in their Call Log confirmed. We have several Azure joined devices that are used by multiple staff members (receptionists) and found that RingCentral phone is installed on each individuals user profile " C:Users**User**AppDataLocalProgramsRingCentral.exe" as opposed to a true installation. The problem is that each time a new user sits at one of these pc's we are having to reinstall the RingCentral phone app. This position has quite a bit of turnover and are constantly going through the install process.Is anyone else running into this issue? If so how did you make is less cumbersome?

I have a client who claims to have left multiple voicemails over the last couple of weeks. I see the missed call in my log but no voicemail (not on the phone app, desktop app and I'm not getting an email). This client has a tendency to ramble in messages and I'm wondering if she's hitting the time limit for messages and for some reason it's not saving? Is there any way to fix this?

We are wanting to expand our ring central service to our additional location. But we don't want or need an IVR menu. I just need one main line to go to a call queue and the other main line to go to another call queue but when enabling Multi-Site service is requires you to use a multi-level IVR menu?

We are based in the UK with RingCentral. Can we set up users on the UK RingCentral account that are based in our Indian office? Are these users then able to make calls into the UK PSTN, or any other countries PSTN.

My TCR registration is unsuccessful on the Admin Portal. According to the KB article, if it is unsuccessful, "make the necessary changes TCR indicates in your application, then resubmit. " But I do not see where the indications are. When I click resubmit, it takes me to the Order Confirmation page. When I click back, the window closes. What should I do? The information I entered initially were all correct.

I'm having issues with limited or no phone numbers available from Ring Central for my area codes (NC / SC). Some area codes aren't even listed. Is anyone aware of a known issue with RC's phone number inventory or is anyone else having issues with this?

I do not want RingCentral to launch on startup of my computer. I've removed the shortcut from my startup folder and it keeps reinstalling itself every couple of days. I want this to stop. I've look all through the setting of RC and looked at settings, apps, startup and it's not in there. So why does it keep doing this? Make it stop! I want to turn it on when I need it, and not be on when I don't need it.

I have a Yealink T48S provisioned with RC. Every time it boots I get the red warning triangle saying that the default admin password is being used. I can change the password on the web interface, but every time the phone reboots, the default password of 'admin' gets reapplied.Besides being a security risk, is there anything I can do to change the admin password on the device and have it stick? I can't guarantee that the phone will never be rebooted.

Hi, can you please let me know how to display the name of operators on RC or answered calls so when we are carrying out quality assurance we can listen to a number of calls from the same operator rather than having to scrolls and listen to all answered calls?

In my sandbox, the number +19294153507 does not have "SmsSender" in its features. How can I enable SMS?

(apparently by IP proofpoint, which apparently RC contracts to prevent outgoing spam). We had to move a mile away from our previous place of business, but it was in a different town, so we had to switch from DSL to fiber. It meant going from our prior IP address to a temporary one with a modem, to a final IP address when the fiber was connected, but as soon as we had the final IP address we lost all functionality for outgoing e-mails, and e-mail faxing, which is huge. It has been over a week, with multiple futile attempts to reach RC via the bot, two in person calls totally about an hour with no resolution, and follow up e-mails telling me that RC was closing the case; we have sent multiple requests to proofpoint to unblock us, spoken with the people with our ISP and I am at my wit's end. Anyone with any ideas (other than ditching RC, which is looking increasingly likely)

A team member is unable to reset her password. Every time she clicks reset password and clicks on the link that's sent to her to her email, it logs her back in . We already tried clearing cache and cookies and even tried resetting the browser settings. Is there any other way we could reset her password?

When a user is out of the office and they turn on their DND, can their calls be sent to another extension? (Only while their extension is on Do Not Disturb.)
