Hi there? I'm running into an issue where the login email is currently set to our billing department. I often have to call them to ask for an access code to setup new users with the RingCentral app. Is there a way to separate the login email to something IT controls and have the monthly billing go to the billing department?

In our lead creation process, we are creating leads where some of them have invalid phone numbers. Does anyone have direction as far as tools/API's/ways they've been able to leverage technology to ensure the numbers are valid so that, if not, they do not make their way to the dialer?

Is there an easy way to find out what Ring Group(s) a user belongs to? The only way I know of is to access each ring group. Below is my scenario.We have seven product specific ring groups that ring key users and seven "overflow" ring groups that calls will forward to if the call goes unanswered by the product specific ring group. The overflow ring group rings all department members. Overflow calls forward to product specific mailboxes which is why there is one for each. Most staff belong to multiple product specific ring groups.The problem that we are running into is with turnover. If we select the option to remove the user from ring groups then it removes them from all ring groups. We only want to remove them from the product specific ring group(s) since the overflow will always include all users.To me it would be more efficient to remove a user from two or three ring groups than having to add them back into seven.Any ideas/options would be appreciated.

We have an application that sits on a Windows 2019 server. Each user access their version of the application via Windows RDP. However, instead of using the standard Windows Remote Desktop application, we have a very small, .Net application that we call the "Loader", installed on each PC. The Loader handles the RDP side of things and gives us additional functionality.For example, on the RDP application there is a button to open a website (or dial a number). When the website/call button is pressed (on the RDP server), it sends a message via Ably to the Loader (running on the local PC), which then opens up the users browser and takes them to the web page (or dials the number).Currently we have several users who have TAPI based phone systems, which works fine, but is no longer supported in Windows 11. When transferring a call, the receiving party is not notified when the transfer is completed. It would be nice if there was an audible beep sound to indicate that the transfer has been completed so the receiving party knows when to start talking. The transfer is so silent that the receiving party is unaware that the transfer has been completed.

Twice I have received an email from Ring Central stating that I'm near my monthly limit on texts. This is the actual message: Your domestic SMS usage has reached 90% of your monthly Included SMS allocation. Text messages are not working (inbound or outbound). For some of our numbers, when we send texts to phones within our system or to numbers outside of our organization, the texts either don't come in or we get an error message. Does anyone know why this is happening? Could it be that certain numbers in our system don't have the proper settings/permissions to text?

Today my outgoing sms started failing. When I send a text it looks like it is resent 2 to 5 times over and over and over but does not actually reach its destination. Every once in a while I can get a text through. This is happening both on wifi and when using mobile data. Oh, and its on the verge of making me lose sales and customers. :(

I need to know where I can find the call recordings knowingly that I'm on the ultimate plan and I've enabled the Automatic call recordings, can you please help me with that?

Has anyone had issues with screen sharing freezing recently? Specifically, myself and some of my coworkers have experienced times where our customers are sharing their screen fine and then suddenly it just freezes. Occasionally we can stop the sharing and start again and it works but most often, it just goes to a black 'waiting' screen.

Now that Remote Control access is back, it seems to still be inconsistent. I am assuming it has to do with how the client connects but not sure exactly how to resolve. Sometimes the Request Remote Control option will be available but other times it will not and it's even with the same client on different occasions. One day it's there another time it's not. Can anyone provide insight as to what the customer needs to do when connecting so that the Remote Control option is available?

Is it possible to show when an agent is in the call wrap up period on the live reports in addition to available, on call, unavailable?

I have a user that has recently married and has changed her name. Once her name was changed in Active Directory, she has no longer been able to authenticate her Ring Central account. How do I change her name and email address without deleting her account and starting over? I've read through some of the topics on the support web page but haven't found anything yet.

I recently started upgrading my users to the new Office@hand 22.1.21.370 (Blue Icon) We just noticed that when a user is on a conference call, it doesn't allow you to hover and choose which line to hang up. In the previous version, you could hover over "Conference call" choose any participant, hang up with them and keep the other conversation going. Hi, we are looking for a solution to replace the call-out (via escalation list) feature from Avaya Voicemail Pro. Is anyone aware of a plug-in app or development for RC which provides this functionality?Example:1. Voicemail received2. Hey guys,I'm trying to set up my new RingCentral phone system that will be receiving calls on the IP phone.I had a company greeting made, which is your standard "thanks for calling. For retail sales/nutrition questions, press 1. For wholesale accounts, press 2." I also had a greeting made for customers to hear if there's no answer after pressing 1 and another for pressing 2.I have the IVR menu set up where it directs callers to the correct extension, but if nobody answers, it keeps repeating and does not leave an option to leave a voicemail. How do I add the option for customers to leave a message if their call is not picked up? P.S. both extensions will lead to the same receptionist, but we wanted to have two distinct options as our business is somewhat multifaceted. Hello,We have extra phones that are configured to be used in common spaces during events. They're not assigned to a specific user. How can I modify the phone display if I don't have access to the web interface? The email address assigned to each phone is just a placeholder and not an actual mailbox.Thanks!

Client needs assistance on Integrations. They are particularly interested in in CTI.They want to have SYSPRO ERP to work with their RingCentral system.. What we are looking for is when a CSR picks up a call, Ring Central passes the phone number to Syspro and it matches with an account. We want it to open up or populate the customer account in Syspro Sales order Entry.
