I am migrating my aging ShoreTel system to RC and going through the onboarding process. After configuring my network switches and firewall according to the Network Requirement for Ring Central MVP, I've tried booting up my first three phones, all of which give a "No Service" warning on the display. I opened a ticket with support but only got a few suggestions before I was asked to take the phone home and try it there.The phones in question are Yealink model T42sOn the phone itself, in the status menu, the message is "Account Unregistered", and in the admin console, the icon next to the phones changed from Order in Progress to Offline, so I know the phone is communicating, at least to some degree. A packet capture from the phones web interface shows this as well. Also from the web interface, I am able to ping the provisioning server "yp.ringcentral.com" and the Outbound Proxy Server "sip131-1111.ringcentral.com", but the Account Status says Re

Does anyone know if RC has an auto-dialer for missed calls? Has anyone used their engage voice software? Any feedback, Pros, and Cons? Any 3rd-party app/vendor that will work with RC?We're looking into implementing an auto-dialer if the caller hangs up. We also wanted a call rating system after the call with our staff. Thanks.

We frequently have days were we notice that our SMS can be 1-4 hours delayed (to the recipient). On our end it says sent at the correct time, and there is NO "Message Not sent" notification. Even when we are texting other members of our team. It's of course tricky to know, logging out and logging in doesn't help, neither does a computer restart. Any thoughts?Also, we know if a sms text was "not sent'. if would be nice to get notified or for it to stand out more. If I look at my general "text" tab, the text colour is black, meaning it looks like it sent, but it's not until I click on that thread that I see the text is red with the "message not sent"

When I create an app, then graduate it to production, it is associated with our primary phone. I want the app to be associated with a specific fax line, not the main phone number. Can someone share their protocols for "Do not Disturb" use by staff or expectations for phone call answering? What is the benefit of purchasing Live Reports licenses? We have multiple licenses that I was told we needed to have, they are not assigned to anyone but users are still able to access the reporting area along with the Live Report dashboard. I assigned myself a license but am not seeing any difference in functionality with/without a license.Any additional information would be appreciated.Thank you

We have had many of our Yealink phones become unusable until they are rebooted. I am requesting an engineer to help us find out why 20 or so of our phones are doing this. The latest happened yesterday. The phones touch screen would take 20 - 30 seconds to respond to user input and the dial tone would take 30 seconds to come on once the handset or speaker option was used.Once the phone has rebooted, the issue is resolved. We have had several phones have the issue more than once. Some only happened once. Has anyone had this issue or think of a way to resolve it?

Hi. I accidentally shared a Note to the wrong Glip team and deleted it, not thinking it would also delete the original version. Is there a way to recover this? Can I ask the Admin to go into the Portal and retrieve it? Please assist.

We have had some people experience an issue where they cannot log in to the Ring Central app on Chromebook. They will enter the login username but when they navigate to get the second authentication from their email, the app will either close or revert them back to the first screen to enter the login username.Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi there,For one of my customers, we wrote an application that sends SMS notifications from employee extensions (i.e., from the specific employee assigned to the customer's account) AFTER the sale to confirm some details. They are low-volume texts that are highly appreciated (we get a 93% response rate). Are these texts subject to the new regulations around The Campaign Registry (TCR)? Is there something we or RingCentral need to do to obtain/maintain compliance for an application that fits this profile?Thanks,Patrick

Is anyone else having problems with the latest RingCentral app? For us, it started about a month or two ago. We have both inbound and outbound calling issues. Inbound there is dead air when picked up, outbound says "connecting" and never does. We have tried it on different mobile devices (Android and iOS different versions), different wifi locations, different carriers (Shaw, Bell, Rogers), different cities and still the same issue.

All i get is a red dot and no flashing or pop up messages or anything. curious why the flashing isn't happening on the app when i have it turned on within the notifications section. trying to make it easier to identify when there is an unread message.

Hello, using RC for Salesforce and when I dial in (Inbound call) to my softphone layout - it rings and I can pickup... but never able to have the Call log created (with green check mark) it just spins, then gives the error "sorry, we failed to log your call". This is STG but works fine in Production. I'm using the same p# login for both environments.. Any idea what could cause this? Thank you!
