I Have looked everywhere but cannot find this answer , is there a way we can have the ability for users to not change their "Accept call queue status" .Ideally i want this button gone. Online it says to visit https://support.ringcentral.com/ca/en/article/Remote-Member-Management-for-Call-Queues.htmlThis does not work. The toggle falls under Member status rather than queue status so changing the "Allow members to change their queue status" to Not allowed does not nothing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our “Music on Hold” (the advertising message or music that callers hear while on hold) runs about 6 minutes in length.With your system the message will “rewind” to the very beginning each time the client goes on hold rather fall to a random location during the message.This only allows callers the option to hear a portion of the first part of the message depending on how long they are on hold of course.Monotonous for repeat callers.SolutionSome of Ring Central’s competing service providers have solved this problem by having their contracted message on hold service providers break the message into 4 or 5 sound files.Using this method the message rotates or falls in random fashion so repeat callers don’t her the same old message every time they call or are put on hold.

If I place a call on hold in my office, and I want to pick up that same call (without transferring) from another extension - how do I do that? We have the WORST version of Polycom...150.Thanks in advance!

Hello,We use a live answer call queue during business hours and IVR for after hours. In Multi-Level IVR Settings, we cannot choose anything other than IVR for the main line to ring into during work hours, so we are having to use a custom answering rule to direct to the queue. (I see direct to call queue option on closed hours, but not open???)This interferes with our other custom answering rules (for holidays, etc) and we are having to turn off our main rule and remember to turn it back on when we return to the office.There just has to be a better way?

**Update**: *The RingCentral Developer Sandbox should now be fully operational.* **Original post** We are currently experiencing problems with our Developer Sandbox environment. This includes services at the following URLs: * app. devtest.ringcentral.com * platform.devtest.ringcentral.com Developers are having trouble logging in, which has many different side effects. For example, when trying to place calls using the softphone, the platform reports "unknown device ID" because the softphone is unable to login and connect to the network. RingCentral engineers and operations staff are working on the issue. Stay tuned to this post for updates.

When my agents make calls to customers, the customers don't pick up because they are telling us that the numbers are labeled "Scam Likely". Is there a resolution for this?

In the old version of ring central you used to be able to download the app and press Ctrl+F2 to log into the sandbox to test making calls with an online device. How do I accomplish that now with the new version of the app?I am trying to use the/restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/call-outendpoint, and it is telling me I am not providing a valid deviceId.I am using/restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/extension/extensionId/device to get the device Id, but the device is showing offline because I cannot log into the softphone in the samebox environment.

There is an SDK already available for developers to schedule a video meeting. However, I am wondering if likewise there is an SDK to give my custom application the capability to join a video conference by copying and pasting a RingCentral meeting link. To be more precise, I do not need to schedule a video meeting and be the organizer. I am only interested in a scenario where my app can have the user join the video meeting by only asking for the meeting link. Thanks in advance for the answers.

LOB Analytics gives me the number of inbound calls answered, and the number of outbound calls connected. I'm looking for the number of outbound calls that were answered. Where do I find that number?

Hi, I have a subscription to the telephony events of my client, who is the Five9 customer. On the events I received via the webhook, for inbound calls, in the "to" party object, some have and extensionId, which I gather identifies the agent, and is what I need. However, some do not have extensionId, and I wonder what that means. For those, I do still have the called phone number, but not the extensionId.Thanks!

I am looking for a report on the number of faxes sent/received by all users within the last year. I can't find where this is reported other than the list by the user's names. Which does not have a time frame associated with the numbers.

We've been seeing that RingCentral Video meetings make Intel MacBook Air computers freeze and lock up after turning on video or sharing a screen. I started hearing reports from employees in my account last month. It hasn't gotten any better. Has anyone else noticed this or seen this issue? The RC support teams close the tickets for my team about 5 seconds after the employee reports their video meeting isn't locking up their system after they reinstall the RC App. However, after reinstalling the app on their computer, the issue reappears after one or two meetings. This issue does not affect any MacBook Air computers running on Apple's M1 chips.

When trying to dial a freeconferencecall.com conference line, the following message is received "the destination you have dialed is disabled for your account". When users go to their blocked calls settings, there is nothing mentioned any blocked numbers? How can this be undone.
