I'm building a custom answering rule for a call queue used by one of our departments. This is a holiday schedule, actually.Question is about the called number condition. Can I leave that blank, and then all calls hitting the queue will be handled per the rest of the custom rule?

5+ API calls per each used endpoint (20+ in total) - I have a single endpoint and over the last 30 days I have 63 successful callsExercise all requested permissions - We only have SMS permission and I've sent a bunch of them to my phone and I have received themI am curious as to why these tasks are not checked off my list and why I am not yet allowed to submit for graduation. Is there some undocumented thing I have to do to tick those two off?

When I schedule a meeting with "Meeting Info" option and copy the info and paste it into an email, the meeting date and time is not included in that information and it is not added to the list of scheduled meetings. Which apparently has been an issue for over a year, according to other posts.

I would like to change the routing of calls from specific contacts to specific extensions. For example. we have two offices with distinct local numbers. I would like for any call from Mike Smith to go to extension 98 regardless of the number he called. Is this possible?

Starting this morning, we are experiencing an issue with Ring central meeting. It allows us to start it, but after a few seconds of loading, it automatically closes and says 'This meeting is over. You cannot join now'. All of my coworkers are having the same issue right now. Is this a system-wide issue?

I keep trying to log into the highvolumesms.com site and it tell me I need to disable pop-ups. They are. I've also tried using three different browsers and the site doesn't allow me to log in on any of them. Is this an issue that just arose? I was logged in yesterday.

I am looking for the ability to assign my Incoming/Outgoing SMS and received voicemails into tasks or projects. The RingCentral APP doesn't seem to have the ability to move SMS or voicemails to Tasks. I don't want to delete all my SMS or voicemails as they are helpful for project lifetime and history. But weeding through the listing is difficult and time consuming when looking for reference or follow-ups. Need to either export everything into something new, link to something or find it in the app. Thanks.

Is there a full list of all the different versions that Ring Central offers?We are looking for the one with the most features.Our current version has a limit of max 15 wait time on queue, which obviously does not work when you have X callers calling in at the same time.I somewhat recall seeing that there is a version of Ring Central that is a full blown call center application which would allow longer queue wait times.Looking for some guidance.Thank youFelix

Our company has been working to find if we can connect Ring Central with Microsoft Exchange, we have been advised this cannot be done. It would make our work flow much smoother for meetings/phone calls.

Is there a way to change the time zone for the reports? Mine keeps showing Mountain Time.

Hello everyone,I'm not sure if others have had/are dealing with this issue. If my coworkers or I are typing an email for example and we suddenly receive a phone call sometimes the buttons we press just ignore the phone call and it goes away. Does anyone have any recommendations or if they could let me know how to deal with this? Thanks.

Each of our extensions have a direct number that gets spam calls multiple times a day. Is it possible to block incoming calls to those numbers, but not our company number?

I work for a church and we have been using RingCentral for a little over a year. So my question is this, do I have to make an all new prompt or can I just record over a old one, and if so how do I go about doing that.

Starting a few weeks ago, when listening to a voicemail the caller phone number is recited as a large number.For example, 419-221-8727 is read "four billion one hundred ninety-two million two hundred eighteen thousand seven hundred twenty-nine" instead of "four one nine two two one eight seven two seven."I saw forum posts from 1+ years ago saying it was a known issue called JIRA CNV-28823.Any changes / fixes?

See many answers for how to direct after hours but nothing to edit current queue orders. Ours are set at 8:30 am to 5 pm m-f but where this is set is a mystery.

I am planning to give up my landline phone, so phone number and fax number would be disconnected. Does the fax number remain usable through ringcentral fax? or will I need a new fax number?

Has anyone created their own resource / instructions RingCentral for salesforce call transferring and conferencing & what the difference is and how to perform the function?We recently upgraded our RingCentral for salesforce integration to version 18.3 and the transfer/conference function has changed and is creating confusion. I can't find any self-help material that is up to date that shows the newer versions of this function.

The removal of keyboard and mouse control in the latest Ring Central meeting app is having a big impact. Can we get an update on when this feature will be put back in the app?Thanks.

Currently I am the super admin and if we forward calls to the admin from our main line, they ring on my desktop, but I want those calls to go to another users desktop app. Is there a way I can set this up? Thanks

On the Polycom VVX 411, when connecting a computer using the built-in switch, we've noticed that the phone still "reports" the computer's MAC address even after disconnecting the computer and plugging in another computer. At this point, when looking at the actual access switch to which the phone is connected, it appears that there are three MAC addresses attached to the port (the phone itself and the two computers). This is a problem as we set limits to the number of MAC addresses allowed on the switch ports. Is there a patch, firmware upgrade, etc., that will fix this issue?What helped us identify the issue is one particular user that changes laptops alot on the 1GB connected eithernet cable kept getting their port disabled at the switch.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had attempted this use case or something similar. We have google docs and pdfs that we would like to be able to fax programmatically using the API. Does anyone know if the available API has any limitations that would prevent this?
