A couple of users here are experiencing an issue when they try to transfer a call, the receiver can't hear them speaking so they can't announce the caller.Now, disclaimers, I started here a week ago, I'm new to Ringcentral. My predecessor did a pretty good hand over for most of it but didn't mention this issue. The users say its been an issue for a few months now so it looks like it had him stumped too.Where do I begin to look? Thanks for your pointers in advance.

We have created Webhook Subscription for getting missed calls.We are using "/restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions?direction=Inbound&missedCall=true" to get all missed calls/voice calls.Webhook works good as we get all call information but somehow for some number we get only extention value(101) instead of phone number i.e [to] => Array ( [phoneNumber] => 101 [name] => Sneha Rao [extensionId] => 712273005                                 ).is there any way to get actual phone number instead of extention number?

Come March 17th is this true-You can only send 25 SMS per day and anything after that you will be charged $.0085 per SMS?

Scenario : Usually, while using postman, there is a chance that you are clicking on the request to download the attachment, postman opens a new window, and you immediately click the send button. This will throw an error because there is no request body and access token attached to that request.

The account is activated. I made sure from the admin portal but I keep on getting the error "Your account has not been confirmed. Activate your account by clicking the link in your activation email or contact customer support."

We have 2 businesses in one system and we want certain extensions to have 1 caller ID and another extension have another caller ID. There is an alternate caller ID tab but you can only chose between the main number and the extension phone numbers. We have another incoming line that is routed to certain extensions and set up as another site, but does not populate in the alternate Caller ID Options. How do I get these extensions to have an alternate Caller ID ?

Hi all. Newbie to RC here, so perhaps I am doing something wrong. But...In a browser (Firefox) using javascript and the RC js SDK, I am trying to implement the OAuth2 3 legged flow using PKCE and "top frame setup" (see Top frame setup on the JS SDK page). FYI I have successfully implemented the "Popup setup" described on the same page.In the Top frame setup, when my redirectUri landing page calls rcsdk.login(loginOptions) the SDK throws an error with message "code_verifier required". It looks to me like the SDK is not sending the code_verifier when making the authorization_code request to the RC Auth server and so the RC Auth servers response is a 400 bad request.I am not sure how the SDK would know the value of the code_verifier as I believe it was generated on the main page when the loginUrl was

I am attempting to download a file that has been posted to a Teams room. I receive the contentUri from a webhook notification and when I call platform.get(contentUri) to retrieve the file, I receive "503 Service Unavailable." The URI looks correct and I've done similar things with call recordings and voicemails. I am running my application on a production instance.

Hello. When I try to place a call, it takes 15-20 seconds for anything to happen. It's like it doesn't register any clicks. It doesn't matter if I try to place the call from call history or manually typing the number (typing is fine) and clicking the call button. When an inbound call comes, I click the icon to answer the call and it takes 15-20 seconds to register. The call almost always goes to voicemail because it takes so long.I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app several times and nothing seems to help. This is my first time using RingCentral. Not fun so far, please help :(

How do I turn off SMS messaging. I do not want to receive SMS nor do I ever send SMS. I need to opt out of this as it serves me no useful featureThank you

I integrate RingCentral into my CRM (Hubspot). When I make a call from my PC, Ring Central records my call and inputs the call into my CRM so other can hear it later. When I call from my phone using the Ring Central app, the call is not recorded. Is it possible to have calls made from the app on my phone recorded into my CRM?

I'm testing using the Sandbox. I would like my application to register a softphone (my own stack) so I'm trying to get and use the SIP credentials for the current logged-in user.I call the Register Device method (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Device-SIP-Registration/createSIPRegistration) with Transport set to UDP. This gives me the SIP credentials that I need. Then I register my softphone. However when I make test calls with the softphone then I hear the phrase "You cannot use this phone because you have not registered your address for E911 emergency calling purposes using this phone". I do not hear this phrase when using any of the user's other devices (ie RC Phone, Yealink).To fix it, I tried to follow up the Register with a call to Update Device (

I'm using the Telephony Forward Call API to forward a call to an extension (in this case, a call queue). We want to pre-populate the call queue with members before the call is forwarded.I get successful Status Code responses to make all the API calls... however, the newly added queue members are not invited on calls until they receive an email notification stating they're added. Likewise, the members that are removed, will get rang to until after some time passes.I don't know the exact timeframe, but it takes about a minute before the desired behavior is achieved after make the Bulk Assign API call.

When we create a new Custom Rule under the Call Forwarding and Voicemail section we have an issue where the phone number we enter on the third step of rule creation, Define Call Handling. The number we enter the Forwarding Number box in the Forward to external number radio button will not stay there after we click Save and go back to confirm it is there. So, basically, after we create a rule and we go back and click on Edit to double check everything in the Rule we created the Forwarding Number box is BLANK. However, if we create another rule that conflicts with the rule we just created and hit the Validate Rule button we can see the number when we get the message that we have two rules that conflict with each other. Why would the Forwarding Number be BLANK?

even when i subscribe to a webhook notification with "encryption":true the response is set with "encryption":false and no algorithm nor key fields are in the response.is it even possible to enable encryption over webhook notifications?
