Hi, I'm new to Ring Central and have a simple question hope someone can help.Basically, I'd like to find out how can I park a call and then transfer to the recipient using Polycom desk phone. For example, if I pick up a incoming call for my colleague and I need to park the call to a location and then inform my colleague (via intercom I guess) the park location for him/she to pick up the call. What do I need to setup to perform the above? Thanks in advance.

The RingCentral app on my android device is no longer ringing. Looking at the google play feedback, 2 other members also write in the same complaint. I checked my settings and they have not been changed. Showing its set to Ring Loud with Vibrate disabled.Is anyone else getting this problem as its started a few days ago and I factory resetted my device to instantly get the same problem with Ring Central first thing.Thank you.

Hello,I have two RingCentral accounts, each tied to different email addresses with different organizations. Is there a way for me to link them and view within the same desktop or mobile app? I found I need to have one open in the app and another through a browser but it is very cumbersome to do. Would love any tips!Thank you,

I have added a new phone to my Ring Group, and for some reason it is not ringing when a call rolls over, even though all the other phones in that group ring. Anyone have any ideas?

It is taking about 3 minutes for your app to open now on my PC. This is happening to other people in my office as well too. Why?,It is now taking about 3 minutes for this app to open every morning on my PC. This is not just on my computer other people in my office are also having this same issue.

We have been calling with Ring Central for over two years. We record every call. We can see the recordings in the call log on the Ring Central Admin portal but are unable to retrieve recordings older than 30 days via the API. Using the call-log method below will return records but not a media URL. Without this, we cannot download the recording. We would like to retrieve the recordings for the last 90 days. The API reference for /subscription states that expiresIn has a max value of 7 days (greater for webhooks). However, if I attempt to create a subscription with a one-hour lifetime, a 15-minute subscription is created. Is there a different undocumented expiresIn maximum for PubNub?

Hi - I am in need of some advice - We have an MS Access application with a SQL backend - on an inbound call to Ringcentral Office we want an access form to pop-up with the caller ID which has been passed - we have a CRM we have developed in SQL which we will query to present the user with the clients history. I have a meeting scheduled where I originally opted to NOT have a waiting room. I'd like to change that not to having a waiting room.While I followed instructions on how to edit scheduled meetings, when I followed those instructions, I could not see scheduled meetings and opt to edit them. For the whole day (July 16 2021) every time I run the command in curl to get the oauth token, I get a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error.Even when I try to just copy and paste the url http://service.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/token in my browser, I get the error.Is anyone else having this issue? We are having issue with calls being sent to the queue and it doesn't ring any available agents.Initially, I had it to ring all simultaneously and occasionally (5-6 times a day), you will see call sits in the queue for more than 10 minutes and then eventually become abandoned.I then have it set up queue as rotating and setup to transfer calls waited over 3 minutes to send to voice mail (rather than losing the call) but I can still find calls sits in the queue for over 3 minutes and then changed to abandoned after 4-5 minutes.I have re-created the queue as support suggested and it doesn't help.Does anyone have experience with losing calls in the call queue?

We went live on RC late-May - Office and Contact Center. We ported over all of our DID blocks at the time to make sure we didn't lose something in the transition. We are preparing to delete many of those now-unneeded phone numbers. All the numbers are in the Numbers in Use and you can call the numbers and be dropped into our main IVR. What is the difference between having the numbers "In Use" and in "Inventory"? Is there a cost difference? Thank you.

Hi All,We use a ring group assigned from the user 'Main Receptionist' to simultaneous ring 15 staff extensions. Prior to the last software update, when an extension picked up a call, the HUD would correctly display that extension as on an active call.After the last update, the HUD now displays 'Main Receptionist' as on an active call but not the user extension that picked up. This is a huge problem because A) the user extension displays as available 2) Main Receptionist only shows active with the first number that called in Main Receptionist --> Ring Group (simultaneous ring) --> User Extensions It is not a problem with windows 10 app as far as I can tell. If a user extension is picked up on a physical device, main receptionist is shown as active on the phone itself as well.

I have a small patient care practice with multiple people answering the phones, voice mails and faxes. I need a single place (as much as possible). What's the easiest solution. I set up a phone queue but "waiting in the queue" is OK but the callers need to be able to leave a message if they don't want to wait. If they leave a message I need an easy place for everyone to share getting the messages. So thinking maybe, shared extension is better, or is that silly since there doesn't seem to be an easy way for people to share checking the voice mails. Conversations are mostly text-based, so a text-type export (settings, administration, data export) would be more helpful than a .JSON file that later has to be converted to a .CSV, which is not the appropriate format for the data.

Is there a way to force a footer on the bottom of every fax cover sheet (HIPAA compliance notice)? There seems to have previously have been a way to add a custom cover sheet, but that function seems to be gone (at least in the Win app). Is there a way to globally load a cover sheet or force any cover to include a footer I create?

The RingCentral app is continuously looping at startup, just keeps acting like it wants to open, but never does. Anyone else seeing this or know of a fix? We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's not working. Currently have about 5 users experiencing the issueNo issues on the android or apple apps.

Our company recently got rid of our old telecom system and have moved exclusively to VOIP with ring. Currently, our voicemails are forwarded to a designated email folder in the company email suite. Regular users cannot access voicemail messages from the app. Where can I go to change it so that all users can receive voicemails to the ring application? TK

Hello there,At work probably 1 in 20 calls on my phone is actually for me.I'm in a call group called Support and I only answer those if they ring for 1 minute or more.As the majority of calls that ring on my phone are for support, when I'm engrossed in work and the phone rings, I don't even look at the screen and so I miss the few internal or DDI calls.It would make things much better if direct calls to my phone (internal or external) had one ringtone and any calls to my phone from being in a group could have a different ringtone.It seems this isn't possible at the moment, but I hoe it could be added, as I reckon a lot of people could benefit from it.
