When trying to make a call using the desktop app (windows), it only allow for ''Internal calls only'', but i can make calls just fine using my iphone ...been trying to fix this for days now and i have run over many related topics here but nothing seems to be working for me...So how to slove this?ps: i have the role permission to make calls 

problem when contact name is not filled in when adding a contact to ringcentral unified. Sometimes the contact cannot be found and sometimes the contact be found only through scrolling and not through search.If the contact is found through search the contact profile initials is the area code instead of the company name.PLEASE FIX THESE BUGS IMMEDIATELY IT'S REALLY ANNOYING AND IT MESSES UP MY CONTACT LIST THX!

I want to discontinue my BT line and use RingCentral to take incoming and make outgoing calls. Can I use my existing DECT telephones by using an adapter to connect BT plug into RJ socket on my satellite router?

I have multiple users reporting that when they make changes or updates to their fax settings on the portal, receive a pop up error stating "JEDI error". I have opened a ticket with RC 8 months ago and have not had any movement on it. I brought it up again this week and was told it was a PKI (Product Known Issue) which has been their cover for not knowing how to fix something. I am about to migrate 700 users to RC Fax from eFax and this is unacceptable. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what have you done to mitigate it?

It is convenient to have some calls announced when answering them (e.g. queue calls, etc.), but then having to press "1" to answer can be inconvenient (such as when driving, when on a headset with no keypad, etc.). It would be nice to be able to speak "yes" or something similar to be able to confirm the call should be answered in addition to being able to press "1" to answer it.

Apparently, changing the Caller ID, for instance, in the Admin Portal does not roll over to the desktop or mobile phone apps. Is this correct? We created and applied a template to all the users , with no override privileges, but they did not appear to take effect on the desktop or mobile phone apps.The main setting we needed was Caller ID so that all our outbound calls show the same number. After two weeks of using RC, we just learned from a client that our outbound number is not our toll free number but, instead, the user's assigned number.So we had each user go into their desktop and mobile phone app to make the change.So my questions are...1. What is the point of the Admin portal settings if they do not get applied to the user's desktop or mobile phone app?2. Do the Admin settings only apply to a physical phone?3. This started happening on both RingCentral app and the glip web page. the indicator of the number of messages that are new is missing. All it does is bold the group or name.

I was trying to assist a user who originally requested a physical phone and was assigned a direct line, but later found that the company is pretty much using the desktop app instead. I followed the directions to remove from direct line and switch, but now I can't assign the number back to the user.

I updated to the most recent RingCentral Mobile app and calls are not coming through. My device is IPHONE XR. This issue has started since yesterday. I re-installed the RC app and no changes.

The only way I know if I have an unread message right now is by one setting that I'm not fond of, which is the bouncing icon in my dock and this is only if I'm on my computer. If I'm not at my computer and I log back in, the only way I know if I have any unread messages is if I go to the app itself. With most apps, there is a designation or a red icon in the top right corner that lets me know if I have a message waiting. When I'm referring to a message, I'm talking about a message from a teammate in the Slack-like communication portal. Can this be added as I don't like the continuously bouncing icon as it's a distraction. The subtlety of having a red mark letting me know a message is there is much preferred.

Hello,We are having issues with Subscribed Main Number analytic reports. Almost every day internal calls are showing up on the main number report. They don't show on the analytic screen, just on the PDFs that are sent to management. The main issue is these calls inflate the missed call count. It appears that the reports generated are flawed.

hello, we have D365 deployed with the Ring Central app to make phone calls, add notes, etc.one of our agents recently discovered that his Ring Central app within D365 Sales Hub is not displaying. he was using google chrome and the sidebar panel would appear intermittently. to resolve the issue, we tried MS Edge and it appeared to work correctly at first, but now it's not displaying for him. please help.
