I'm creating an app to monitor the call queues. What I need to do is display how many inbound waiting calls are on a call queue. Is this possible?I have tried to use subscription to monitor incoming calls of agents. That worked. But if all agents are taking phone calls and then there's an incoming call to the call queue how can I get notified?

I'm a single operation and don't need and will never use all the internal messaging, tasks, etc. Is there a way we can turn these off so we only see the telephone, text, fax, and video meeting interfaces and don't have to navigate around the others? Also, I'd appreciate being able to dial my desk phone from the app like I used to be able to do.

Can not save out important contacts in the application.

Title says it all...My company manages a lot of client accounts -- login credentials for web portals, emails accounts, and etc. And a lot of these accounts have 2FA (two factor authentication) enabled.Rather than have our employees use their own personal phone numbers as the 2FA registered number for our client's accounts, we'd much rather have them use their RingCentral phone number. It's more secure and easier to manage.---So, if I'm using RingCentral's SMS API, can I use a RingCentral phone number to receive 2FA codes (SMS messages) from Google and other security code providers?Does this violate any terms of service? I don't want to get banned from RingCentral over trying to use our phone numbers in this way...I know that there have been problems in the past with VoIP providers and SMS gateway service providers receiving SMS security codes... Does RingCentral suffer from this same limi

Please indicate which phones will be set for this resync AND will resync correct the issues that Polycom phones that are experiencing presence issues due to firmware - I have an open case and informed it is a firmware issue as one of my clients can only see the outbound presence and not inbound calls on hold for other users to assist that caller.

Is there is any option to print the text sms messages from our desktop phone apps?

When I get a call to my RingCentral number and it goes to the RingCentral app on my mobile phone, it looks identical to when I get a call directly to my mobile number. I would like to see both the caller ID for every call and which number is being called (my RingCentral number or my mobile number).As a comparison (although it may not be exactly the same), I have a Google Voice number and that app on my mobile phone. When I get a call to my Google Voice number, that app pops up and shows me who is calling. So, it's clear that the incoming call is going to either my mobile number or to my Google Voice number, and the caller ID is shown in both.So, my question is this: Can I set things up where I can see both the caller ID and which number the incoming call is going to, rather than all incoming RingCentral calls looking identical to incoming calls to my mobile number?Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm using the RingCentral Desktop App on my iMac. I was able to see all messages in the middle, but now I can't. As with the other features (i.e. All Calls; All Voicemail; All Faxes), I would like to see All Texts like I once did. I'm not sure what happened.As of now, I can see my customers' names/phone numbers on the left. In the middle of the app is the text message exchanges for the person's name that's highlighted on the left under TEXT. Before, I was able to see everyone's messages in the middle, like on the RC Web version. Please advise.Thanks!

This feature was working fine for me (Windows 10 desktop - fully compatible specs) up until several weeks ago. No changes on this end since - except upping RAM from 4GB to 8GB. When will virtual backgrounds (and for that matter video preview, also no longer functional - though actual display is fine) be working again?

I'm a dual account holder with two different companies. I have the main RC account (direct #) that I use for all activities and then I have an ext-only account (call 800# and dial ext) for my client. Most of my client's callers use my direct # but we use the RC desktop (formerly Glip) to communicate during the day or make quick calls with each other.With the recent retirement of the RC desktop and softphone, I'm in need of a workaround. I tried setting up an ext /speed dial from my direct # but it's not working. Does anyone have a workaround?

Is there a feature that allows a new trainee to remotely observe/shadow another agent's calls? Due to COVID-19 and social-distancing guidelines, and working from home, I need to identify a new process since side-by-side observation is no longer an option.  I'm wondering if there is a feature similar to "Coach" in the Supervisor portion of the Contact Center/Max Agent.  

The call logs that get emailed to me in the form of .xlsx files still do not contain any data; I have spent numerous calls with the customer service/tech team about this bug. RingCentral is a fantastic software for tracking all aspects of call and text communication, and I'm amazed that this problem has persisted for over 7 months on one of the key features. Through working with the Tech Team it was confirmed that .csv files through email would show data, while we have not been able to get the .xlsx files to show data. Can you please make it an option to email .csv files? I have been shown that a simple change to .csv would resolve the problem.

With RingCentral Meetings, we could use the app to modify/delete any scheduled meetings. How can we do this once we're transitioned over to the RingCentral Video platform, keeping in mind that we use an on-prem Exchange server (not o365)?

Our 0800 numbers have been since Wednesday, reported on Thursday and still down. They say they are working on it with their carrier down the line, but they can not give me a timescale, i asked what SLA they had with their carrier & they didnt know.So we are losing lots of money as we cannot receive these calls.Any ideas on how i esculate this?ThanksAs

Does RingCentral have operator assisted conference calling?

Hi! I'm attempting to read call logs via the API and its returning invalid data such as call duration, call result, and the direction of the call. Is this an issue that is known about or am I just doing something wrong? The RingCentral App can be installed with an EXE (user mode) or an MSI (computer mode). Unfortunately, both can be installed. We only want the MSI installed.One of our other vendors uses an MSI for installing, but is capable of doing user and computer mode installations, interactive and unattended. A single installer would make it easier to only allow a single installation of the app in user mode or computer mode.

I opened up case #12988469 with Support and they told me to ask Developers if this could be addresses in a future upgrade of the Admin portal. We are able to somewhat customize email notifications, but want to omit RingCentral branding from the notifications to users.How do we get rid of these two sections?

Hello, I am a current customer with about 20 users on our account. We often are setting up video meetings with prospects by asking what video service works for them(i.e. facetime, duo, etc.). Since we already use RC for our company's phone needs and set up video meetings internally, can this be done for external folks?I know it has been tried before but wasn't successful. Looking for a streamlined way to create a meeting, send to someone and have them be able to simply click on the link and be brought to the video meeting- without having to sign in or download an app-whether it be on their phone or a desktop- with the ease and professionalism of a zoom meeting invite.Can anyone help?TIA!

When I am trying to authenticate with my ringcentral account from webphone demo app its given me error "we didn't recognize your email address" even I have created developer app from my own ringcentral account.I am using the paid account and that is created as a user account by admin (with full permission).
