Generally what we have seen is the contact are based on each user's or extension. So if one user have personal contact other extension cannot able to view it.What about if the user want to share their personal contact with another user.There is no personal contact in admin level. Is there any way to share extension contact with other extension people from company levels?

When an employee leaves the company, we often need to forward their calls to another manager for at least a month. How do we do this, while still deactivating the terminated employees' access to RC? A few weeks ago, for a very short amount of time, I was able to select the option to listen to the call recording directly from Contact Details window that pops up, using the ACD Recording tab. There were two options, one to use a phone line to listen to the call where I put in my cell number which is OK. Then the other option I could just click play for the recording and it was really nice to be able to do that. I noticed a few days ago this is no longer the case and I am back to using my cell phone to listen to calls. Otherwise I have to download the call which is not always needed.

We have rolled out the RingCentral classic app organization-wide and are using it in conjunction with Polycom desk phones. Many of our users have Call Handling settings under Desktop/Mobile App set to "0 Rings/0 Secs" in order to allow the app and their desk phone to ring simultaneously. I got a report from a user today who is a member of a call queue, working remotely (away from their deskphone). They needed to change Desktop & Mobile on their extension to 4 or 5 rings in order to allow queue calls to ring their Classic app long enough to answer. The 0 Rings setting rang once but not long enough to pick up. The queue itself is set to move to the next available agent after 5 Rings/25 seconds.Is this the expected behavior in RC Classic when queue calls come in?

In my call handling & forwarding settings I have my desktop & mobile apps set to ring 3 times and then I have the calls being forwarded to a team member. However, when I receive a call it just rings until I manually forward it. What is the trick to making the rules I set in calling handling & forwarding work?

Does the ADMIN have to logon first to enable something or can you share the link /app with an end usee to enable for their own extention? Does it send out from their number where up to 250K people could respond or does it send from a number that can't be replied from?

Hello, it may be due to the fast there is actually no default extention on the account, but the production credentials lists 101 as a default admin extention, but when trying to login with 101 extention returns invalid login cred error., However logging in with empty extention = '' when calling send sms returns error: The requested feature is not available. Please let me know thank you!

I have two extensions that are fine when dialing their extensions but when you dial all 10 digits of the number it appears a fax picks up the call. Is there a setting on these numbers that need adjustment?We are new to RC and I am still learning.

I want the basic ability to create a contact in your Mobile APP and have that contact automatically sync with my RingCentral laptop APP. I understand you can sync "all" your phone contacts to your laptop, but your business pitch is to keep your personal contacts and work contacts separate. That's what I'd like to do. Also, I'm in sales and speak to hundreds of people a day. It's crucial for me to know who's calling and who's texting. If I can't create a contact on the go I could miss a deal. Thanks!

Is there a way for me, in Java, to get the delivery status of an SMS by ID? I am using the 1.6.1 java client that was just released about a week ago. Looking at the doc (https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-java/blob/master/samples.md ) I can’t tell because Send A2P SMS and Get A2P SMS both seem to refer “restRequestConfig” which has no explanation yet that I see. Perhaps it does not yet exist for Java? I would really like to subscript a get notification if that was possible in the Java interface?

I downloaded the sample C# app and can successfully send a fax. When I try to create my own program, I get that SendFaxMessageRequest is not defined. I have "using RingCentral" at the top of the program.var requestParams = new SendFaxMessageRequest();The sample was using RingCentral.Net 1.1.1. I went up to version 4.1 and get the SendFaxMessageRequest error.Playing around a bit, it appears to happen for any version of the SDK from 2.0 on.Is there different code I should be using instead of the sample. I'm thinking I don't want to go to production with version 1.1.1 of the .net SDK.This is a 3.1 .net Code console application.Thank you,Bruce

A client of mine just a few days ago signed up for a ring central fax account. he is now no longer able to log into his account, it says his password is incorrect. he has done several password resets, and they are not arriving in his inbox. He has checked spam and junk folders, the emails are not arriving.He tried to call tech support, but apparently there is no way to speak with a human, all support calls tell him to use the self-help web page which is useless.How can my client resolve this so he can log into his account?

I received a notice today when I went to login saying that RingCentral didn't recognize my device. Even though it is the same device I have been using for a year. The sent a code which I entered and received the following message "Sorry, we can't recognize the device. Please use other device or browser and try again. " I am, and always have, used chrome. I tried multiple times same response. I was able to login using edge, but when I went to send support a message they said I wasn't logged in and sent me to a log in page. I entered my credentials and received a message "authentication error".Anyone have any ideas?
