I am working to integrate the RC Office Make Call Out API with a web application for click to dial functionality. Currently, I am able to get this to work for all users within my account if I retrieve a user based Oauth token. I'm wondering if it is at all possible to use a Global account token or somehow impersonate a user, so that I only need to maintain one token and not request Oauth tokens for all users.

What is the max number of recipient that can be send in a fax call in Api?What is the limitations?

Is there any limitation on how many fax can be send in a day using Api?

While sending fax, what are the files type I can attach with it? Where can I find the required file type details?

I'm creating faxing application in Java using Ring central Faxing API. I have some little things to clarify. As I have seen in my testing, Ring Central access token expiration time is one hour and refresh token expiration time is 7 days. So what i want to know is1. I'm using the Java SDK and is there a documentation regarding it?2. I need to know all the Message statuses and Read statuses for the sending faxes. Is there any place I could find those or else can someone give them to me via this post?3. Whether we are able to change this default expiration times or not?4. Since we are having a different set of access token and refresh token when we do a refresh, is the expiration time for the refresh token also extends to another 7 days from the refresh time

Has anyone noticed that when trying to start a video meeting with colleagues from within a direct message in glip that the "start Meeting" prompt just spins, and then 10 min later the meeting details to connect appear?

This is kenneth Stillwagner here and my ringcentral phone number is 1800-514-5088 and my email id is directvdealer786@gmail.com i need an old version of messages feature on ringcentral. your representative she said when you try to send to 10 receipient that will go as group message but if you send more than 11 receipient it wont go as a group it will be send individually . but i want my message to be send individually even if i am sending to more than 11 receipient thats the way i keep a track of all my customer. i dont want new version of messaging kindly do it as a old version.

I have to say I am very disappointed and frustrated with the calendar feature and have to link to Google or Outlook calendar. This a link to my personal email and not business. I also have to say that when the decision was made to go with RC the tip your way was the managed calendar that is shared and has so many options. We are getting to end of our contract and I will tell you that the lack of a functioning calendar shared with the team will tip it the other way for us. Sorry but that is the cold hard truth. We are a business and utilize a calendar from the minute we sign on. Unfortunate that the developers could not see a way to fit this in as a function. I am super frustrated with this!

We have a custom in-house enterprise app with some significant RingCentral intragration. We are having trouble with SMS features. We need a consultant to trouble-shoot and advise, and perhaps very rarely to do a very small amount of coding. But trouble-shooting and dev/tech problem solving are the main tasks. We are NOT looking to pay an outside firm to develop an app for us.Where do we look for a resource like that?

Some details about our environment: At my office we use mainly laptops. We do not use the laptops themselves to actually do our work, we RDP into physical servers that are hosted off site. This is a platform that we are currently in transition to.Server Hardware:- CPU: 4 core 3.4GHZ intel Xeon E3-1240 v3- Memory: 8GB- SSD- Gigabit up/down internet (within server)Issue: Many users are claiming that when they do a RC meeting with screen-share or camera their server completely freezes. Doesnt happen as much or at all if its just an audio meeting. Other than disabling HD video, is there any way to make sure there is no freezing?Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to fix it? RC video is a new service from Ringcentral, has anyone had similar issues with that?

I'm not able to use webcam during a meeting of RingCentral Video on Amazon WorkSpaces.If I switch Video Service to RingCentral Meeting, webcam works correctly.After switch back Video Service to RingCentral Video, webcam does not work..Of course, I am able to use webcam during a meeting of RingCentral Video on Windows PC instead of Amzon WorkSpaces.Please help how to fix this issue.

We have several users who manage Call Queues. The only way to retrieve VoiceMail from the queue is to use the handset.How can I allow a Queue manager to access the online version of the Voicemail list for that queue?

My caller ID shows I am calling from a law office when we are not a law office. Why is it not showing my caller id name I input in ring central system instead of law office. People dont answer my calls because they see a law office phone number is calling and we are not attorneys or a law office.

I have a US account and I use the RingCentral IOS App to receive and forward faxes (about 15 - 20 times a day). When I forward faxes, I don't want a cover page (most of the faxes are sent to my own fax machine and printing a cover page is a waste of paper). The default for the cover page is "Contempo" and I have to change it every time to "None" (which is a pain in the butt). How do I set the default cover page for faxes to be "None"?

Using the latest version of the RC Phone app for Mac. Sound is poor both for people trying to hear me and vice versa. Can barely make out only a few words. Have tried low bandwidth setting; makes no difference.Anyone else experience and resolve this issue?

I've been using RingCentral for several weeks now. I noticed that incoming calls from numbers that were not in my contacts list showed up as "Unknown". When I chatted with tech support to find out why Caller ID wasn't working for incoming calls, I was told for the first time (since it doesn't appear in the "features" description) that I would have to upgrade to at least a Premium plan. This would cost me $540 a year for RingCentral to provide what the phone company already provides for free. I really don't need any of the features in the other plans, and had absolutely no idea when I signed up that Caller ID would be an upcharge.This should be a basic feature for all plans. Its lack in Essentials and Standard is inexplicable.

It has been truly impossible getting a resolution with your customer service. I have talked twice and emails are being responded after like a week. This is bad to have calling issues. I have tried to figure on my own as well.I did the test of connectivity and found the attached. I found this by researching, your customer service never asked for this. They had asked for sample calls and I had given it to them.Please find attached and help me get this sorted.

We are encountering unexpected behavior as of sometime last week (first week of June 2020) with incoming calls from Call Queues into our RingCentral mobile app for iOS. If you call a user's extension or DID directly, the app rings and the user can answer it and talk as normal. However, if the user is part of a call queue and receives an incoming call from a queue, once the user clicks the blue checkmark to accept the call, the dial-pad on the app closes and a green bar is displayed with the text "Switch call to this device." Neither party can hear each other until the user chooses to switch the call to the device. This happens with ALL users across multiple versions of the RingCentral mobile app on iOS (20.2.30.64888 and 20.2.31.65151, specifically) and no changes were made in our environment by us. We tested various settings on the app and on the server side, but it happens in all scenarios, even if you set the user's call handling to only accept calls from the mobil

Why doesn't the call archiver work properly?Every few days I have to go into the Archiver and check for Failed calls over the last week or so and then manually do a Bulk Retry. This has been going on since we joined RIng in 2017. Can this not be resolved? We need all calls archived to Dropbox for Compliance.
