Is anyone else seeing this issue? I have a script running that flags call logs that have recordings, and then I hit the call recording api, /restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/recording/recordingId, with the recoding ID that I get from the call log, and every time it returns a duration of 3 seconds, even though every single call is much longer.I've opened a ticket with support and have been met with crickets. This is in our production environment and causing significant issues.Any advice?

Hi,We are having a similar issue to the one mentioned here. We're using the Node SDK, and migrated from password authentication to JWT authentication.After reading the docs, it seemed that JWT authentication did not require any accessToken or refreshToken management, and we would just maintain a login state without any issues... but that does not appear to be the case. error message saying users email already in use

If I call someone and add another caller to the conversation (merge the calls), am I able to hang up and allow the other two people to continue talking? I don't want to transfer the call because I'd like to talk to both parties first before hanging up, but allow the other two parties to continue to talk.

Common Area phone can be added/ configured through the Admin Portal according the KB. Following are the steps described:Log in to your RingCentral online account > Go to Phone System > Phones & Devices > Click on Common Area Phones > Click add deviceUnfortunately we can't see Common Area Phones entry when we log in to our online account. We only have access to User phones and Unassigned. Is there some prerequisite required to be able to access Common Area Phone functionality?

I noticed that when my computer is in sleep mode as well as the phone, when I move my mouse, the phone and the computer wake up.Is there a way to have my phone "wake up" my computer when it rings?This would be useful when trying to wake up my computer for remote work.Thank youMiguel

Hello, We are using the Ring Central API to make custom reports based off different Criteria. Currently we are looking to get the "Longest" hold time for someone who may have called in. We are not looking to gather that information for the current day, but for previous days. Out of any of the API's is there a way to see how long someone waited on hold before being answered/picked up?

Hello, everyone.We've been dealing with a problem for the past two months in which one of our users is unable to send text messages to a US local number. I raised the problem, but haven't received a single response from RingCentral technical support. This is a very unprofessional service; please do not use RingCentral Services any more.

How can you determine if this message is an issue on our end, or the end users? We have received faxes all day, but one specific incoming fax number has failed 7 times today, not all in a row. And earlier this month, this fax number worked fine. Thank you!

At my old company, we had a feature where we could directly pick up someone's line by clicking the button next to their name on the sidecar/phone screen and join their conversation without anyone having to conference the lines.Is that feature available on RingCentral? We have RingCentral set up for our support department and are set up to receive notifications of afterhours voicemails. However, our issue right now is that the SMS messages are not sending to Verizon. According to many other forums Verizon disables the feature if it's being used for commercial purposes. Which RingCentral utilizing their ##########@vtext.com feature is a commercial purpose. When I have notifications set up on an ATT number it works fine. The issue is that our company phones are Verizon. Does anyone have a better solution for afterhours voicemail notifications? Our old phone service would call us for notifications and that would be preferable, except I've read where RC won't support that. Any assistance would be great.

When bulk sending SMS, we always want to send SMS as individual messages rather than to a group. To do so, we manually uncheck "Create group text". This works as expected.The issue we are running into is that the people sending bulk SMS tend to forget to uncheck "Create group text".Is there a setting or a workaround to set default "Create group text"

Is there a way to extend the amount of time a user has to dial a number when using their desk phone? We have Polycom VVX311's and some folks have had trouble dialing a number especially one they are not familiar with before it times out.

My company just got new Poly VVX 450 phones, and our primary operators have the expansion module with 30 additional line keys. We each added 20-25 internal extensions using the Ring Central App (in the HUD menu), but the results were inconsistent.Some of our phones displayed contacts on the expansion module only (skipping line keys 3-12 on the phone screen) while others started on line key 3 (on the phone screen) before spilling over to the expansion module. I can't find any setting that controls this.Is it possible to skip those line keys on the phone itself and start the contacts on the expansion module (I assume it would be line key 13)?

Hello,We have 3 users with ring central. We are having an issuewith call log. If user 1 does not answer the call, if it gets answered by line 2 or 3; it still comes as missed call on user 1. Now the employee on user 1 sees it as missed call on her ring central app even though it is answered by other lines and calls the customer again.If the call is answered by either of the lines it should come as answered in call log instead of missed call.Please kindly fix this problem.. or guide us through the solution. Any help will be appreciated!

Although clearly this has been out there for some time, we weren't aware of the JWT requirements, so we have been trying in the last day to get this working for our client. We don't have our own RC account, and since it seems that the ability to send SMS has been removed, we can't try it on our own account. We are able to authenticate with JWT, just can't actually send an SMS message because the feature isn't available. We had the client create a new JWT application for production so that we wouldnt impact the existing password based application, but we can't even get that one to give an access token - we just get "

I saw someone else post this and no idea why the post was deleted???Starting today everytime I get an inbound call on the app ring central opens a browser and tries to goto goole.com why?????

We are using RingCentral app for Teams with the RingCentral for Teams Desktop Plugin. We have users when they receive a call their browser opens a new tab to www.goole.com. Just started today and it is happening to several users. I have verified they do not have RingCentral Desktop app installed, and the "Launch an external app or website for incoming calls" is not a setting in the Teams RC app. How do I resolve this for my users? Also, why was this turned on in the first place?
