Query for messages based on datetime

While working with RC through the API we currently do an update availability to 'Deleted' (with this call RestClient.put faxi["uri"],{:readStatus => 'Read', :availability => 'Deleted'}.to_json,{:Authorization => bearer,:content_type => :json, :accept => :json})This cause messages to follow the 5 day purge life cycle.After being Deleted for a certain time (by default, 5 days) the system erases message data (attachments) and automatically switches its availability to Purged. Purged messages cannot be restored but their metadata is stored in the system for some time (by default, 5 days). After that all information about such messages is physically removed from the system.so that we can keep messages in RC for any trouble shooting that may need to take place.which would be great other then the fact that there seems to be a 200 message limitation on inboxes. when we have 200 faxes in an inbox we get partial pages sometimes on new inbound mess

salesforce in visualforce DNIS and ANI

Looking for ideas....We has a specific use case that requires both ANI and DNIS to be passed to a Visualforce page on incoming calls and we need to have click to call for efficient outbound calling.The standard salesforce OpenCTI integration only passes ANI as con10. This won't work as we will purposefully have duplicate phone numbers in the system.The desired pop would be htts://xxx.salesforce.com/....apex/somepage?con10=<the ANI value>&someotherparameter=<the DNIS value>The soft phone can pass ANI and DNIS but with click to call being dependent on the open CTI connector this becomes problematic. The soft phone and openCTI sessions "fight" and log the user out.The using the legacy soft phone app with IE and not using the OpenCTI connector was promising until we found the IE10 is not supported.Ideas would be welcome. Seems like a simple thing but simple stuff often isn't.

Do we see any Presence events with Call Forwarding ?

Description:Do we see presence events on any forwarded calls ? When a call is forwarded to another user extension we do not see any presence events.Also, When a phone number is part of virtual extension, the phone number will not trigger a presence event when there is a incoming call through the virtual extension. Call Logs for Individual Accounts

I want to retrieve call logs for individual accounts. Currently logging into the API with the master credentials. How many API calls am I allowed to make per a time period?

Many developers would like to know ahead of time how many calls they are allowed to make before their app gets throttled.There are certain API usage plans which are applied to 3rd party applications which use the RingCentral API. These plans can vary depending on a particular API or a users current service plan. But in most cases our servers will reject API requests from a particular application if the request rate exceeds 30 API requests per minute. In this case the client will get an HTTP error with status code 429 too many requests.For more information please click here

Get caller number through URL using GET command

Is it possible when ever our company receive a call, we get following URL fired up and with telephone number sent in the [telephone] parameter ?http://tbmslive.com/demo/mydbaccess.php?callerid=%telephoneAbove is common process with other companies, our system is PHP/Mysql developed CRM system and only need a caller number in a particular table to carry on with the caller id process.Thank you for helping us out.Regards

Timing out when downloading chunks of recorded calls - is there an easier way to download the mp3 of these calls?

We need to archive all of our recorded calls from Ringcentral since we want to hold on to them for longer than your web system. When I download from your site if I select more than 400mb worth of calls it will timeout so I have to select smaller chunks of time. This is very time consuming. Is there a better way to receive the mp3s of recorded calls so we can put them into our own database using your API? Also, is there a better way to access these files, like through a sftp server?

OAuth for multiple accounts with in one application

Having some trouble with Oauth and refresh token.Currently we have about 10 different ring central accounts with anywhere from 1-10 lines being accessed. we were just using a new Oauth each time we make a call (this works but is not a very good practice)we added into our database an Oauth token. refresh token and expire (since we get 3600 per token before needing to refresh)the issue we are running into which is unexpected. when we request a new token. the previous token gives me an error of "Access token corrupted" , While the last requested line to get a token has a valid one.

When you receive a 429 - Too Many Requests, here is what you should do

Can incoming calls be received at the desktop phone as well as by RingCentral for Desktop (softphone) ?

1) We are using your Softphone to launch our callerId executable on an incoming call.2) We also have a hard phone on the desk.What is the best way to still get the Softphone to launch our CallerID while still allowing the user to answer the Hard Phone when the call comes in? We need both running at once to summarize.

Can we get result data in mssql 2012 format?

I have some questions to apply your solution on our system. We use several in-house software and erp system. It is based on .Net platform(c#). So I'd like to know your api format . (or SDK) According to your sales representative, you guys offer open API. Additionally, I'd like to know we can get result data in 2012 mssql data format. Sync contacts with a CRM (SugarCRM)

While Callinize looks great for intensive applications, is there an elegant way to just sync SugarCRM contacts into RingCentral? This would be very helpful but we couldn't justify the per user cost of an additional service just for this

I am trying to make a ringout call using the ringcentral API. SDK error message response unexpected

This is more of a feedback than a problem report.I've been working on a Web app that sends SMS using your PHP SDK. Is there an API that tells me if the user logging in has admin privileges?

I'm also writing an app that can pull call logs from my company's account. However, I believe call log access is limited to a user's own call logs unless the logged in user has admin privilege.I want to throw up a message to my users so they know what their call log access scope is based on whether or not they're an admin. Is there an API that tells me this? Thanks
