Is it possible to block a fax number? I receive anywhere from two to twenty a day. We are receiving order confirmations from a vendor and have asked them to stop numerous times. They transitioned to a new program and they can not figure out where the box is to uncheck this oition. They said it’s an anomaly because they can not figure it out. Please advise how to block this fax number from incoming faxes. Thank you

An end user is saying he will get a fax notification via an email, he will open the app, and the fax is not in the app. Since there is no fax, he has to call the member/company and have the resend the fax.

We usually disable the account but there are providers that might fax a departed employee’s number and receive an error. Wondering what the best path would be to get the provider to automatically fax forward to our main line instead or has anyone else set up some system they want to share? 

How to schedule a recurring fax in RingCentral? as an example, we would like to send a fax out to the same (fax) phone number everyday? it is to test our fax server ever morning it is internal to the company, can this be done without having to set up a fax using send later in a profile for each day it is to be sent?  

We're having an issue where someone is trying to send us a fax and RC is flagging the number as a potential RoboCall which it is NOT. How can I whitelist this incoming fax number? I've searched high and low within the admin portal and found nothing to allow for this.

I created a contact in my RingCentral app for a business.  I entered their main phone number as their “business” number.  I entered their fax number as their “fax” number.  However, when I tried to send a fax, it send to their business number.  There was no opportunity for me to select which number although, again, I did designate their fax number as a “fax” number.  The fax obviously failed.  Other than deleting the business number altogether or, alternatively, not using the contact to send the fax but instead manually entering the information, is there a way to send them a fax to the correct number?

We use Message-only extensions for receiving faxes and have about 25 of them set up for various departments. Received faxes are then sent to shared email boxes for each department. This generally works well. I've received a couple complaints this week about faxes being partially received. A look at the call log shows that most of our fax extensions have plenty of errors and partials. A couple of our busier extensions have none, but those departments mainly receive from big healthcare systems who use e-fax. (RC blocking some of those as robocalls is a different problem) I've been doing this long enough to know that the most likely explanation is the sender but the fact that I have so many errors in the logs over the last 60 days leads me to wonder if anyone else using RC to receive faxes has noticed an uptick. How can you determine if this message is an issue on our end, or the end users? We have received faxes all day, but one specific incoming fax number has failed 7 times today, not all in a row. And earlier this month, this fax number worked fine. Thank you!

How can two users see the incoming faxes? Or in the alternative how do we change who gets the faxes? I am the admin, but another user needs to receive the faxes.

When sending faxes, we often have to include the name of the recipient and company or department for it to be routed to the appropriate individual in healthcare facilities with fax stations. Otherwise, our faxes get lost because there are no names or departments. Please add this space. Also, let us know if we need to update the app when the space is added..

RC Cover Page Error.JPGI had a user that needed a custom cover page with the sender phone number changed. When I tried to do a test cover page in the RC app it would not upload (docx or pdf), got an error.

We have had doctor's offices, insurance co's and some governmental health agencies contact us about faxes they have sent for various reasons (payments, documents, etc.) but we have never received said faxes. The offices have fax confirmations. This is a very significant issue for us. Has anyone had this issue and if so, any solutions?

Hi, I (MSP) have a customer that uses Ring Central for Faxing that has for the past few months been receiving complaints from receivers of Faxes saying : "garbled/squished text on Faxes". Claims it is not the receiver's fax machine. We would appreciate some help in troubleshooting steps on identifying where the issue is. Sometimes plus sign to send fax disappear on iPad.

Our faxes are received via email from notify@ringcentral.com and sent to multiple internal recipients. However, the recipient list is quite outdated. How do I access which emails are to receive our faxes so that I may remove former employees and add newer? Several of the email addresses are people who are no longer listed in our Users tab.

I can see that a fax has failed to send - however, I can't seem to find anywhere it would give me the reason why it failed. Am I missing something?

How do you get the fax cover page "Notes" section to recognize paragraph spacing?

Received a message that we have a 30-page fax that does not show up in anyone's inbox and is not attached to the email. Need help recovering the fax from admin settings.

For the last few weeks I have been unable to receive any faxes from # 848.444.9801. I receive from everyone else & I am able to send to # 848.444.9801. I was receiving from them prior to a few weeks ago with no problem. They have called their software people & internet. Everything is good on their end. Please advise. Thank you.

Not receiving Faxes today Yesterday worked fine. We are a new client. The sender receives a message that our fax line is busy. How can this be? We aren't sending and only receive faxes from two contacts, today only one is active.

I want to suggest having the fax receipt with the attachment of the outbound fax with the fax that was sent.

All faxes to one of our branch locations are showing as missed calls, and nothing is being delivered. We have rebooted the ATA device and the fax / printer machine. Both are online, O@H homepage shows the ATA device being online, the OBIHAI rings 3 times as its supposed too when we receiving a fax, but nothing is printed on the machine. The call log just shows missed calls over and over again.Have had a ticket open with ring central since the 6th and no response.

We received legitimate faxes from a certain number but RC has started blocking them as robocalls. Is there a way to white list the number?
