We run two different companies and our receptionist chooses which line to call out. We NEED to be able to modify the outbound caller id (NAME & NUMBER) for each specific line to reflect which company they are calling from.  Right now the caller id number is correct but the company name is not and according to tech support there is no way to fix this. This cannot happen and we need a fix ASAP!!

I am running ringcentral app on my windows 10. At some point, the app start spinning and spinning but nothing showed up. I uninstall it, download the app again, installed and the same issue. I reboot the machine and no luck. I am not connected to a network, I tried to turn off all norton features and still the same issues. The ring Central meetings is working fine. Any hints?

Several different types of bluetooth headsets will not answer or end a call with RingCentral Win 7.5.2. I have tried on several different Win7 laptops. The headsets are high-end - Jabra, Creative, and Klipsch. On each machine the bluetooth connection was established, Win7 reports all BT headset, handsfree etc services running properly. All BT headsets worked properly in audio sink mode with iTunes . The headsets, with 7.5.2, cannot answer or end a call, although my voice carried thru the headset mic to the caller. I could NOT hear the caller. I tried with audio settings pointing directly to the correct device and then with them pointing to 'Same as system' (which was pointing to same device). HELP! I was told that RingCentral supports bluetooth headsets before I committed. In this day and age you would expect RingCentral to work with MOST BTs, not the just the few that are listed. I have been reviewing call logs since the new Analytics portal launched due to KPI impacts. I have found two issues in how RingCentral dispositions/tags a call that is questionable. I say questionable because I consulted with someone who manages an IVR system for 57M customers that I partnered with several years ago.Scenario 1: Customer calls 800 number, selects a queue and is routed to voicemail.Issue: RingCentral will tag the call as Abandoned when the call is sent to voicemail prompt which is correct tag. RingCentral then tags the same call again with Abandoned after voicemail is left. That makes for two Abandoned KPI dings for one call. This is new as of April 2019 after looking back through Nov - March data.I am not sure how anyone is supposed to answer a call when it is in Voicemail so I believe this is an invalid tag for Abandoned since the call has already been tagged.

When I have a call set up with someone, I text them 10 minutes before I call them to let them know I'm calling from a number they may not recognize. This number gets added into Dashboard as a number, not as a name. I cannot edit the profile to change that to a name, so I'm stuck with having a huge list of numbers and have no idea who is who. I often end up texting a lot with some of the appointments and it's a pain not having their name...just their number...in the Dashboard. How can these numbers be changed to names? Sure hope there is a way...thanks!

I've been having this issue with our conference phone for months and no rep is able to fix it. Whenever a call is put on hold, the person on hold hears continuous ringing as if the call is dialing out.I've been able to set hold music/tones for regular lines but the conference phone doesn't show that option. Has anyone else had this issue??

We ran out of minutes on our plan this month due to the amount of spam callers calling in to our number. I have been working with support to have theentl system hang up on the robo caller if no prompts are pushed. The problem is, the greeting has to run 3 times before the call is disconnected. Which again, takes a few minutes each call to go through. Curry there is no way they can make a change to disconnect after the first message. I am hopeful that someone there will address this issue before we have to change providers.

First, I am not a developer but looking for answers to resolve an issue some of our clients are experiencing. We have a number of clients who use RingCentral who operate in a server-based environment, many of this connect via Remote Desktop to the server others via a dumb terminal that connects them directly to the server. I understand that it is not possible to run the RingCentral Soft phone on a server for more than one user.My first question is when will the ability for multiple users to be able to run the soft phone on a server be available? I see that it has been requested multiple times over the last few years but don't yet see a definite answer as to when/if this will be available. It seems that as more and more companies move to outsourcing this that it would be a priority.Second, given the limitation above the only solution is to install the soft phone on the user work station. Is there a way to get LOCAL vanity and/or sequential numbers?

Is there a way to dial the Dial by Name Company Directory from the desktop or mobile apps? I have tried entering the extension into the dial pad (Ext. 1050) and it tells me that it is an invalid extension. If I dial the same extension from a desk phone it works fine. Chat Support couldn't give me a clear answer. Thoughts or answers?

We have a team in the Ring Central App (Glip) that isn't showing an Admin. None of the team members can archive the team. Any ideas on how we can archive it without an Admin, would be great.

I have some of our Polycom phones setup as common area phones. I don't see an option to change the line to voice only so I am not sure how to stop receiving faxes

My iOS RC Phone app does not consistently display caller's contacts while the phone is locked.The contacts are in my phone, and sometimes they display on the lock screen, but usually not. Today my support agent, Martin Vincent J , told me that 3rd party apps may not communicate with contacts while the phone is asleep. I find this hard to swallow because I've used the Bria app with a SIP phone and it worked 100% (displayed the contact name on the lock screen).I've had two unresolved support cases on this. Furthermore, my colleagues that are also RC Partners have this problem.

We have a US account with about 32 employees. I have had a request to be able to recall a call once you have transferred it. How do we do this? As the switchboard I use the desktop app but many use the mobile app.

Hi,I am new to Ringcentral and I am trying to get my bearings. I run a small business and used to use Vonage, with vonage I had the following when a customer calledPress option 1 for sales, 2 if you are an existing customer and 3 if you are a member of staff, when an option was pressed it was then sent to all then came through to my one telephone number as I am the only one answering calls...This then showed me on the desktop app and phone app which option has been pressed. I need it to show this information because sometimes I will not be picking up option 2/3 calls ie: in the evenings... but if a sales call option 1 is calling I would like to be notified that this is happening so that I can pick up the call...Anyway to show this info?Account type: UKThanks,Sam
