Hello,The user can't place a call, but they can receive calls with no issues. When an outgoing call is placed the bad connection message comes up and the call is dropped. This only happens when the user is working from home, and it happens with the desktop app and web app.Now the strange part is the RC desktop & web app work fine if the user is working from the office. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help and it doesn't.

The big boss wants a hardware phone in the office and a hardware phone at home. Shared Line seems like the only way to accomplish this. What problems can I expect by using a shared line for this purpose?

I submitted a new brand registration (BAEYV8R) yesterday. In the admin portal, it says "please wait a few minutes". Well, it is still Pending. I've tried calling support 2x, they are no help. Hi all, could use some help with figuring out the best way to do this.Right now I have two "DigitalLine Unlimited" lines/user accounts from the former Standard plan offering (I think that's what the plan was called), and two Polycom physical desktop phones for these two lines/user accounts.I'm building out a home office where I would like to have another Polycom desktop phone for use only on the days I am working from home.This new home office Polycom phone and my current Office Polycom phone would never be in use at the same time.Can someone please help me demystify what I need to configure/add/upgrade to my account for this to work per above with respect to incoming and outgoing calling ability.Thanks so much!

This is ridiculous that RingCentral tries to load up Outlook in my Windows machine when I never configured any integration. I do not use Outlook so this prompt is a nuisance. How do I stop this from occurring?

Does RingCentral have the capability to show a message waiting indicator on multiple desk phones that are in the same Call Queue? Or even something like Visual Voicemail (since we're on ACO) where a glance at a phone can show that there is a voicemail for a call queue voicemail box. I am able to show one extension, if I send voicemail to that extensions voicemail box (not ideal), but if four users are part of a call queue, I'd expect all four users to be able to see that there are voicemails for that call queue.

Just getting started using app. I've gotten 2 calls forwarded to app today - only rings once (instead of specified 6 times) and I could not answer either call. Any idea why this is happening?

So I didn't buy my phone through RingCentral but its compatible. its the Polycom VVX 410. its connected to the internet but its not working at all. What are the next steps? I have my router on my desk so I can use an ethernet cable I turned off the WiFi I've tried using a Jabra Evolve 2/30 and still I've had to call a customer back on my personal cell phone I went and bought a Logitech Zone wired 750 still bad clarity! I am trying to port / transfer my Google Fi phone number to RingCentral. I have followed the published Google Fi instructions to initiate this, including unlocking the number from my Google Fi account. When I go to transfer the number into RingCentral for our VoiP phone service, it gives me this message "The phone number you entered cannot be transferred at this time. If you still would like to have the number work with your RingCentral service, you may forward your calls from your current number to your RingCentral account."I've contacted Google support, and they tell me it is unlocked and should be ready to go. I contacted RingCentral support, and they told me everything is fine on their end. So now I'm in this loop of not being able to transfer my number since both companies point at the other one as the issue.Note: Google did give me an account / password to transfer the number out. I have been trying to figure out how to do live monitoring on Ring Central in the Supervisor area and i clicked on the no monitor part and put in my phone number in the box that popped up for Audio Connect and now i can't seem to get it to go back to blank. Does anyone know how to clear this back to its original state?

Hi,I don't found a response at the simple question : "is it possible to configure a holyday rules or calendar for all my company (a lot of sites, IVR, call queue...) ?"

There is currently no way in an IVR just have callers remain on the line to be directed to a queue. There is the time out option where after the IVR repeats three times you can send the call to an extension. We need an option to send the call to an extension if no buttons are pressed after the first time the IVR menus are played.

What is the reason the RC Meetings is being retired in favor of RC Video? I'm not opposed to the upgrade, I'm just curious why its happening and forcing me to do the uninstall/reinstall process. We are a small, 100% remote company and don't currently employ any device management technologies that would allow me to do this remotely (and automated) for our workforce.

According to this Desktop App support page, I can disable the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option in Settings. You can see by the below image that the option does not appear in my Desktop App Settings.How do I disable the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option?

No issues dialing out, but if I reach an auto-attendant, it does not hear my number selections. Only happens via my desktop app. RC tech support has not been able to help. Checked to make sure I've got most up to date version. Has anyone experienced this?

I am the receptionist for our firm. How do I transfer calls for people I know are on vacation directly to their voicemail from the Poly VVX450 desktop telephone?

When using the desktop application and attempting to transfer a call but the recipient isn't available to take the call - we have not found a way to keep the call live without it hanging up on all parties. Ex: I receive the call and attempt to transfer to Joe. Joe doesn't answer, or doesn't want to take the call. When I switch back to the caller, if Joe hangs up, it disconnects the call for everyone. If I click the small hang-up button next to Joe, it disconnects the call for everyone. If Joe's voicemail picks up while I've taken the call back, it disconnects the call for everyone. What are we missing on how to take that call back without it disconnecting??

Is there a methods to automatically remove card data from recorded phone calls for PCI compliance?

The Outlook plug-in is not allowing me to type an Outlook contact name that brings up a phone number. When I type a phone number, it doesn't link to its Outlook contact. When I go into the Outlook contact, it doesn't give me any option to use SMS or call using RingCentral. I am able to call out and receive calls and texts.

I created a new user, added a mobile phone number and checked "Publish in Company Directory" but the phone number is showing in the app. I have over 100 users that this works for but I can't figure out why this new user is only showing the extension in the company directory and not their mobile number. I have checked and unchecked the box a few time but it still doesn't work. I have compared this users profile with other who do show their mobile number in the directory and everything is setup the same. I think there is something wrong on Ring centrals end. How do I get this resolved?

Starting last week (around 7/5/23), I started receiving complaints that HUD status's are incorrect. It will show someone as in a call but then their status changes to "offline" when the call disconnects instead of "available".I've also received complaints that HUD contacts were wiped out and had to be re-added.I submitted a ticket but I'm curious if this was widespread or just our organization.

Does anyone know if RC will have a Voice Prompted IVR anytime soon?

I set up a new RingCentral account for a client, and purchased a Poly VVX 250 hardphone directly from RC. We currently have only one extension, which has been assigned to the VVX 250. It is using the power supply shipped with the phone, and is NOT using POE power.Everything except outgoing calls from the Poly phone seem to work fine, includiing FAXes in both directions, incoming voice calls to the Poly phone and unanswered calls that go to voicemail.Outgoing calls from the Poly phone fail about 80-90% of the time, receiving an immediate intercept message, indicating that the call can not be completed. A few outgoing calls DO complete, but it's not predictable. Even repeated calls to the same number will fail multiple times, then will complete on the 4th, 5th or 6th try. Doesn't matter what number or area code you dial. Doesn't matter whether you dial a "1" first, or not.RC's Q-O-S statistics are consistently good, in the 95% range. T
