My outbound caller ID is showing "UNKNOWN CALLER" to customers. I have it set up to show my company name in the settings on website. Im using the mobile app and have caller ID set to main company number for caller ID.

When calling the main company number, there are cases where people only want to leave a voicemail for a person, and not ring a person's phone first. (Ex. If you want to leave a voice message, but it's not urgent.)Please provide this feature as Ring Central doesn't provide feature parity with on-premises phone systems which all have this functionality. Thanks

Please provide an option to disable the call queue voicemail

We have several SoundStation IP 6000 phones. When we connect them to a 2960-X switch they do not fully work. The phone will power on, receive an IP via dhcp, but not much after that will happen.  Pinging the IP of the phone has almost 100% packet loss.  I've tried several different interfaces on the 2960-X and get the same result.  Verified that I can connect other devices to these ports and they work without issue.  Another strange thing is a few days ago the phones showed up in 'show cdp neighbor' from the switch.  Now, they do not. Now, if I take that phone to 2960 switch connect it, it will power on and work without issue.I've tried just about every setting I can think of on the 2960-X port to try and make this work but I can't get it to work.Has anyone seen a similar issue like this before?  Know of a solution/work around?Summary....Phones will not work when connected to;WS-C2960X-48FPD-L15.2(7)E0ainterface Gi3/0/36 switchport access vlan 403

The analytics page is confusing. Company Numbers - only gives number of inbound calls to number of answered for inbound calls - this includes weekend and off hour.Performance Reports - gives extension only inbound and outbound call numbers, but does not gives the calls answered for inbound and outbound separately.Quality of Service - has filter to separate inbound and outbound calls and indicate which ones are answered or missed. But does not have an option to export the data. The report I'm looking for is...Inbound calls# with the number of inbound calls answered and missedOutbound calls# with the number of Outbound calls answered and missed And be able to select filter for company number, call group, or extension based.

I've installed the PLT Hub application and disabled auto answer. It is still happening ONLY in the RingCentral application. Regular cell phone calls do not auto answer. I even disabled all of the "sensors" on the 5200 and it sill answers calls. It will even answer a new call and disconnect a current call.Thank you!

I want to discontinue my BT line and use RingCentral to take incoming and make outgoing calls. Can I use my existing DECT telephones by using an adapter to connect BT plug into RJ socket on my satellite router?

Hi, Can I attach a pdf to a txt?

i can't see to merge a new call into an ongoing one. It's been giving the following errors. Please help!

It is convenient to have some calls announced when answering them (e.g. queue calls, etc.), but then having to press "1" to answer can be inconvenient (such as when driving, when on a headset with no keypad, etc.). It would be nice to be able to speak "yes" or something similar to be able to confirm the call should be answered in addition to being able to press "1" to answer it.

I was trying to assist a user who originally requested a physical phone and was assigned a direct line, but later found that the company is pretty much using the desktop app instead. I followed the directions to remove from direct line and switch, but now I can't assign the number back to the user.

I am having trouble when I edit the custom fax template. Once I enter the required information to each field accordingly, the recipient phone number (not the recipient fax number) field will not populate and will be blank.

I updated to the most recent RingCentral Mobile app and calls are not coming through. My device is IPHONE XR. This issue has started since yesterday. I re-installed the RC app and no changes.

hi there, I see i can access cloud storage for recording if I have the contact center, is there a way to do this without having to get the contact center? I need to be able to have long term storage for my recordings and I don't want to have to download hundreds a day as i would now the way it is set up.thankschris

Whenever I listen to voicemails from the mobile app they are very quiet. is there a way to turn up the volume or better yet have the VM play back on speaker phone.

Why does my first call of the day always go straight to voicemail?

The initial configuration of our business hours was 9 to 5. Outside that time frame, calls go direct to voicemail (as they should). However, when we adjusted our business hours (to 8:30 am from 9) calls between 8:30 and 9:00 am are still going direct to voice mail. The hours under Company Info are correct (revised hours) but no change. We checked everywhere we could for DND issues, but cannot find any that would be forcing the call direct to voice mail.

we want to have our phones run over WiFi instead of on a hard wired LAN. Is that possible? Thanks

When I start a call and turn on video on my desktop app, the video freezes. The app has permissions to access camera so not sure what is causing this. Please help troubleshoot.

On both our main line and individual extensions, when someone leaves a voicemail it is taking about 40 minutes for the email to be sent.  We are using multiple email hosts (Gmail as well as a corporate email server) and all are experiencing the same delay, so the issue is definitely on the RingCentral side.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  We have requested support on this issue multiple times, but RingCentrlal continues to want to blame our side.  This delay is unacceptable and is costing us business.  Our stated return call times on a voicemail to our main number is 5 minutes and there is no way for us to meet that right now.

We currently cannot view WHO deleted glip messages. The Message data export will allow me to see the message and to see that it was in fact deleted, but another column should be added for last activity user id. I think it would also be advisable to separate out the creator id into it's own column of data for faster results.

I purchased a non-ringcentral phone and set it up (awesome help from Mannix in the Philippines). However, how do I set the phone up to automatically call the voicemail service? I do not want to call my office number and hit the asterisk and do the password dance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
