Can we drag and drop an attachment when faxing in the new desktop app?

I have two issues with the RingCentral platform.1. How do you forward a voicemail using the Desktop App? I can't find the option to forward voicemail messages to another extension using the windows desktop app.2. The RingCentral website seems to allow you to forward voicemails to another extension or email but the forwarding window doesn't allow you to pull up the contacts from the company list.Hopefully I just missed it and someone can point me in the right direction.

We need to know how to set up the following:Whenever someone calls our main number during office hours; they will immediately receive a message to press number (1) to speak with a representative; in which our phone number will immediately ring and we can answer the phone. (We have been receiving quite a few robo calls from the same company in which they use different phone numbers each time and we are trying to eliminate this problem). Would this affect our current answering system that we have set up in which they would receive a voicemail message during office hours if the phone is busy; or if we have not answered after 5 rings?

Intermitently when our retail stores put a caller on hold it is not playing our Hold music. It is playing our Call Queue Record Group Name instead. I have tried to duplicate this to get call examples for Ring Central Support but I have made Hundreds of calls and cant duplicate this myself but I am getting stores telling me customers are complaining it is very annoying.Please HELP! Support will not assist unless I have call examples.

What's the maximum file size that we can send using RC app, for Fax I know the maximum is 50 mb and for MMS is 20 mb but what is for Docs.

I have basically two sets of different numbers that ring to me. I know custom ring tones can be set up for specific callers, but I didn't find a way to to set up different ring tones depending on which number the caller called. That would be very useful for people/companies that run more than one business on Ring Central.

Currently, there is no option to create ring groups inside of a call queue. This is possible via a virtual extension, however, the analytics given from a virtual extension are inferior to analytics gathered from a call queue.Example scenario:Call Queue (sequential)Ring group 1 -"John Doe" (30 seconds ring)> No answer from ring group 1, follows sequence to ring group 2. Is it possible to have a voicemail shared between multiple recipients in a Call Queue? I have 3 members in a queue and I'd like them all to have access to the messaging for that queue if possible.

With the new "unified" RC client app, the ability to post a code "snippet" is gone. (I'm not talking about the [code] ... [/code] option - that is different.)With the old client, you could press Cmd-Shift-S (I think) to bring up a window where you could paste text into, and it would then be posted as a "snippet" without formatting.This option seems to be gone now. We need a way to post text in RC without it trying to "interpret" the text and formatting it. [code][/code] works for some things, but Snippet was better in many cases.

I have a user that is having issues with her headset and the widows 10 app. The headset works with everything but RingCentral App. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The headset works with Teams and Windows media player. The driver is up to date. I am at a lost on what else to try.

We have changed the region settings for each user phone in our system to the country and area code (Canada, 705), but the end user sees a different city than the one we are calling from. Customers see that we are calling from Barrie, ON, when we are calling from Peterborough, ON. Likewise, customers don't seem to be seeing the caller ID (our company name) that was inputted. Perhaps this is only because the tests we've done don't have the caller ID function turned on. Thanks in advance for your help!

One of our users is missing a section in the Phone settings in the RingCentral desktop app.On my computer, in Settings - Phone, there are two options at the bottom of the page in a section called "Incoming calls" that allow me to enable "Bring app to front" and "Do not bring to foreground when minimized".However, on the other user's computer, those two options (as well as the whole "Incoming calls" section) are missing entirely.This is on the same version of the RingCentral desktop app; so, is there any way to make these options show?

Good Morning,As my subject states, I am seeing the words "virtual extension" but I can't locate how to actually set-up a Virtual Extension. This is my scenario:We have a Billing Dept. with 5 Team Members and these 5 Team Members take turns answering the transferred calls. Currently, I have it set-up with PRESENCE and RING / ANSWER the Extensions each is monitoring. But, we transfer to a User's Extension: Example: 108. Extension 108 is displayed on the other 4 Team Members desk phone // desktop App. However, the problem lies when you actually need to speak to the person assigned to Ext. 108 one of the other 4 may answer.If there is such an extension as "virtual" to me that means it is not assigned to a specific User and that Extension Number can be placed on each Team Member's desk phone // desktop App.Is this truly available? If so, can it be used in my scenario explained

Hello,For no reason, I stopped receiving call forwarding to my cell phone, and my Ring Central app no longer notifies me of incoming calls, so I am missing every call that comes in.I tried to submit a support case, but I received an error, saying that I do not have sufficient permissions to create a case. I am the super admin on the account and am logged in.

I am forwarding some of my calls to a contractor. i would like him to be aware that these calls are coming from my business, so he can answer accordingly. Is there a way to identify to him, that i am routing a customer to his attention from my business ? Right now, I believe only the customer phone number is appearing in the inbound mobile phone

I have a single Cisco SPA 525G phone on my desk. If a call comes in, just one of the lights comes on and I take the call. My issue is that as soon as I hang up, the display says missed call. I did not miss any call. No other lights lit while I was on the call. Each time I answer a call it displays Missed Call as soon as I hang up. I've asked support for help on this issue for three weeks and they keep giving me advise that does even apply to my issue. Hope someone out there can help.

We are trialing 3 lines. 1 company number and 2 additional direct dialed extension numbers. How do we set this up so that when any of the 3 numbers rings, all 3 of the phones ring, and any phone can answer the call? How do we set up the company line as well as the extension numbers?

I just started working with RC with an office pro account and simultaneously purchased A Yealink W60P and 3 additional W56H wireless DECT phones. I had done a lot of research on the phone beforehand and learned that the handsets had a shared directory feature, whereby if you add a contact to any phone the contact gets added to all phones. There is also a local directory where contact additions are only saved on that phone. My problem is that after going through the activation and configuration process with Ring Central, there is no access to the shared directory, only the local directory. The RC support person spent a lot of time trying to figure out why the shared directory feature of the phone was not working, and I have spent hours googling, looking thru forums, etc, all to no avail. Does anybody know why I would be having this problem and, more importantly, how I can fix it? Having to add each new contact 4 separate times for each handset would be a dealbreaker and I will have t
