Our receptionist can only have 2 presence keys for her extension on the phone. She needs to be able to have more than 2 incoming calls at a time. Requesting to be able more presence keys for the user's own extension.

Some of our Glip team users are having trouble reading messages & chats in Glip because of the small font size and light font colors, and this is creating real challenges for these users and our team as a result.So far we have not been able to figure out how to change the font sizes, colors or weights either from within the app or from within the device settings.We have run into this issue both in the mobile app for iOS and from the browser.Any help you can provide would be great!Thank you.

1. Account Type - US2. Related Case number - 100082263. Our client calls a local line we set up for them in ring central. That local line is to call a cell phone. We do this using the call handling forward to another phone feature. The call is not forwarded to the mobile device. The voicemail is left on the local number we set up for the client. When we load up the computer application the call rings through to the computer. We don't want this call to go to the computer, we want it to ring the forwarded mobile phone.4. Steps were taken - we called RingCentral - said try downloading the old phone app, but we can't open the old app, it says to upgrade5. Android for Mobile, windows for desktop6. This impacts my 6 agents and 30+ clients

We are only a 2 person shop and we need to both be able to answer the phone so we are connected to a Group call queue but we are not able to both get the voice mails and texts for that Group call queue. If that would be possible some day to allow multiple extensions to receive voice mails and text messages that would help out a lot.

When we receive a call in our Android App it shows the color circle with the initials and the phone number below it. Is there a way to show the full name instead of the phone number? I don't care what their number is, I need to see their name.

We are currently using RingCentral voip service using the w52p physical phones, and have the single line plan with four phones. We noticed that when to calls are being answered, the third incoming call goes to voicemail. I called ringcentral, and they representative stated that there can be only two simultaneous calls per digital line. I am writing to see if anybody else can confirm this before I pay for a second digital line. According to the rep this would give us the capacity for four simultaneous incoming calls.We used to yelling w-52p phone system, this is advertised by the manufacturer to support for simultaneous calls. However according to the RingCentral representative, each digital line on ringCentral only supports two simultaneous incoming calls.Is the response from the representative realistic and appropriate? Hello,Using Polycom VVX 450 phones with 12 buttons. On the admin website you can program presence buttons for users but even though it gives the option to choose which specific button to choose on the end users phone it always adds them to the next available empty button. Doesn't matter if you choose leave empty space or collapse list. On the web portal is shows the correct layout but on the actual phone it doesn't match. Am I missing something on how to get it to save to the button you choose on the web portal?ThanksJoe

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make calls through my computer using the app. I can dial the number on the RC Phone app, but it just acts as a dialler for my cellphone, with the call itself going through my cell.Basically, I want to be able to move from a Zoom meeting on my laptop, to a phonecall on RingCentral without having to switch my headset over from my computer to my phone. Anyone have any ideas as to what settings need changing?

Hi,We recently changed the way our RC works so we can see incoming calls in the HUD. However now when external calls come to the hunt group it rings my softphone and mobile app. I only want calls to my extension / direct line to call my mobile app, don't want my mobile ringing 300 times a day or to get calls out of hours. It is handy to have transferred or internal calls to my mobile though. I have now had to delete my mobile app, which I used to use quite a lot.

I have new Creative Chatmax HS-720 headset whose microphone the Windows 10 system on my Dell laptop shows is working (via testing it on settings). However the same microphone does not work on RC. I've tried just about every troubleshoot, but to no avail. Any ideas?

I have several phone at my work place that accept the ringcentral phone calls. I use the desktop app to see my faxes and voice messages. I do not want the phone to ring to my computer, but if I mute it in the settings, it turns off the volume for the whole computer. How do I disable the ringing on my computer app?

My firm recently made the jump from using RingCentral Meetings to RingCentral Video. We are overall very happy but one feature we seem to be missing is the ability for a virtual background via the meeting settings. In doing my own searching I found this guide: https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Enable-Virtual-Background-RingCentral-Video.html.However, it does not seem applicable anymore? Am I missing something or is this something that was removed to be refined?

Is there a way for RC to send an afterhours automatic message when someone texts?

How do I change the settings for our receptionist to answer the incoming phone call live during office hours instead of it going the leave a message prompt?

I just set up my new RC account yesterday and have been playing around with the call settings. None of the call settings I've configured seem to be live, and yes I saved everything. When I make a call to test the settings, they don't seem to have been applied. Does it take a few days? Any recommendations?

We have a receptionist routing calls that come into our main line: a call comes in, reception answers, places the call on hold and then forwards the call to a user. We use RingCentral App (GLIP), not RC Phone.After the call is received by the end-user, their caller ID does not show the actual person that called but instead shows a call from our receptionist. This even happens with recorded calls making the call log and call recordings incredibly difficult to navigate and search. For an end-user to find a call that was patched through by reception, the user has to know the specific date and time and search that way; if they want to find the caller ID associated with the person that called, they have to reach out to IT to search on the admin end using reception's call log.In addition, this have proved incredibly difficult for managing call recordings because we can't simply search by the number since the moment a call is transferred by r

Please add Windows 10 Ease Of Access High Contrast, Text Size, and Text Cursor to the RC softphone app. For the visually impaired people who use windows 10 ease of access its a very important feature to help them get through their long work day. Having the high contrasting colors, larger text size and colored cursor makes work a lot easier and more productive while also cutting down on headaches and eye strain. Can you please add this important feature to the softphone app?

Sorry if my question is a bit hard to understand, I'm trying to grasp it myself!I work in an office where we are trying to use both RingCentral and another "virtual dialer" I suppose you'd say? (Cinq)Is there a way to run the Cinq number through RingCentral so that we can still use the call recording feature if we dial from the Cinq number? Also, can we use RingCentral to dial using the Cinq number?Shot in the dark, but any ideas are appreciated!

Currently, every time someone logs into a hot desk phone, the phone is set to only ring 4 times or 20 seconds. Our call queues are set to ring much longer than that, but the phone doesn't continue to ring after that. Can we change the default hot desking call handling time to 15 rings/75 seconds?

When we receive any sms, we get an email notifying about the sms received which is very irritating sometimes. Where we can configure to stop these sms notification mails?

The classic Ring Central phone app has 2 annoying issues.1) If I transfer a call to my colleague - in the HUD it shows him as being on a call to me instead of the original caller2) The call history takes forever to update - sometimes as long as 5 minutes - sometimes I want to call the person who just called me back and I click on the Clock and select "All" and it does not show the last call that was made until another call has taken place.
