How do I retrieve Voicemails from a desktop phone? I Do not know what the PIN is?

I was hoping that I would be able to find a way to find a users configuration settings for their extension (specifically voicemail greeting settings: if the users is using default or custom).It would be helpful to be able to export an excel of all users/extensions along with all of their configuration settings.

I am trying to mass delete instant messages. The only thing that RC allows is a single message at a time. How do I delete the entire chain from a back and forth IM session?

I'm using the desktop app (Version: 20.4.10.284 Web, 20.4.10.2510 Mac) with MacOS 10.15.6.None of my contacts' names are showing in the app. All I see is phone numbers and "unknown caller".My contacts are on my Mac in iCloud. Names show up just fine in iOS.

Hi - I've given some of my managers access to the call log, but when they go to it, there is nothing displayed. I've double checked, and everything is ticked under company call log and user call log, but nothing displays for them. What am I doing wrong?

It drives me bonkers that the Ring Central desktop program hints keep popping up every time I try to answer a phone call. So to answer calls, I have to click once on the notification, then click the hint after I locate it on screen, then click to answer. It just seems ridiculous - 3 clicks!? We would like to setup a personal auto attendant in place of a voicemail greeting on a extension. For example if someone called my extension instead of getting a voicemail greeting they would get an auto attendant with say 2 options. One reach a member of my team and two would be leave me a message.

I would like the option for my clients to push "7" for a callback and instead of having the missed call show up as just a missed call it would show back as a callback requested if they did this.

Has anyone deployed RingCental Phone via MS RDP? We are attempting to do this so desk phone users can use the ring out feature.. The problem we face is we get an error message saying the software is in use once one person using the application.

A user wants to add the RC app on their phone so it rings when working from home. I have tried to add a softphone via 'Users->Phone & Numbers->Add Phone' but it won't like me add the app.I have tested on other users and can add the app successfully in the same window. Why would it not be working for this user?

I have tried every solution suggested, and still my iPhone app will not ring if it’s not in the foreground. I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus, I have checked all notification settings, I have turned background refresh on, and nothing works.If I uninstall and reinstall the app, it will work for a little while, and then it stops.when doing some research as though I were a developer, I noticed that iOS 13 made some significant changes to the way it handles VoIP calls in the background. I’m wondering if RingCentral has made all the required changes to be in compliance with Apple’s iOS.

I have spent multiple hours with IT trying to figure out why calls forwarded from one extension to another were not ringing the other extensions. Finally figured out that it's because those extensions were showing offline, and evidently the only way to show those extensions as "online" is to log in to the "Phone" app (the icon with a phone) on a desktop/laptop. If you try to login to the phone app with a mobile phone it makes you use the RingCentral app (the icon with an R) and it will not show the extension as being "online" if logged in with the RingCentral app. Only if logged in to the phone app. So in essence, there is no way to accept a call to a mobile phone through the RC app that is forwarded from another extension. Hi all, I have a customer who is using the new RC app. They would like to use the Auto record for all users, but they have some staff who take phone payments, thus they need to be able to pause call recording for GDPR, however with the new APP this does not seem to be available, when you try to hit record whilst on a call, the app just comes up with an error??Since this, the customer has gone to use on-demand call recording and this is working fine within the new app, so its just the Automatic Recording Pause feature that isn't?Anyone with any ideas?

My users recently reported (and I confirmed with my own testing) that RC Phone and RingCentral are now allowing calls through during an active RingCentral Meeting session. This previously wasn't the case, and I have been told by RingCentral support that this is an intended "enhancement". Has anyone found a workaround, besides setting yourself to DND?For the RingCentral staff: if this is truly an intended enhancement, I recommend reversing that decision. Being in a RingCentral Meeting (at least in a business setting) generally means you don't want to be disturbed unless it's important. And for situations that are so important that it can't wait for the meeting to be over, there are usually other methods of reaching someone, such as a cell phone.

Description: We have a VVX 411 that we purchased from RC. We use a VVX D60 cordless phone as a slave to the desk phone. This cordless used to work and then quit. I ordered a new phone and the same problem persisted. I switched phone carriers and the cordless paired with the VVX 411 with no problem. Since we switched back to RC the base unit for the D60 will not pair again. It seems obvious now that the unit works but there is a glitch in the RC encoding that will not allow it to pair. This is 100% a RC problem on the development side.
