I have proved that by letting calls ring through and not answering, they are showing up as refused calls in my system; can this be true?

It's been over 3 months we have been complaining about the sames thing, calls being dropped or clients getting message please enter your voicemail password" instead of getting our greeting. Every time I call to fix one thing they mess up another. Just yesterday we called again with the same issue about clients complaining that our line only rang once and called was then dropped. Mary the person who got our call at ring central now disconnected all our greetings and only 2 phones ring. I am ready to throw the ropes and leave them after almost 10 years.

Robocalls.Does the RingCentral app accepts robocalls. Having issues with major sites (Apple, Bing, Yahoo, Superpages) being able to verify my business site by calling my RingCentral phone. The phone either does not ring or I just get a missed call message. Thanks in advance.

Is this even possible?The default soft keys are assigned to redial, dir, intercom and dnd.I would like to change intercom to "missed calls," which would save me the trouble of punching list/call history/missed calls/select.Can it be done?Thanks!

With the RingCentral Faxing solution will I have the ability to have 1 main fax number that can server multiple people. If so how would the faxes get to the users? Want to implement this within our organization. Would this be based on Extension within my Avaya IP Office system? Thank you in advance.

We need to route incoming calls from a particular number with an extension. What is the RingCentral standard for entering in the phone number. This is not only for enabling these rules, but also so that we can keep our data consistent with our SFDC org. I'm having troubling finding documentation on this issue. For example, I need to forward a call from (800) 555-1212 Extension 101 to our Sales Queue. How would I enter this number in to route based on the caller ID phone number? Would it be 8005551212#101, or 8085551212.101, or is there another format that we should follow?Thanks,James

I just noticed that Glip calendar can be edit by guest and admin don't have control to restrict that? is this a bug or something? i have a guest that changed the meeting time for everyone which create confusing among other members and messed things up. we can't depend on glip calendar if there's no admin control to that, please advise if there's something i can do to prevent that.

I have been using RingCentral for the past 3+ months; I have done a lot of automation around passing DTMF along with phone number - For example - tel:8664567890,,,12345# -> This would dial this 866 number and after the call is picked - will pass 12345#.This has been working flawlessly but somehow it stopped working a couple of days back when i started testing.Could you please help me resolve this issue.

Hi all, We're using RC Glip desktop app. Our users are having an issue that when they're working from home RC app will open and close seconds after. It will continue doing this until you close it down in the system tray by right clicking and 'quit'. This is happening for all users when working from home (they dont use VPN) and dont use Outlook integration. They all work fine in the office (on our LAN), but as soon as they're use external wifi connection it continually loops. I've logged it with RC support, but they're not familiar with this issue. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any help as I'm all out of ideas. Mark

My Glip desktop app started opening and closing as soon as I turned on my computer this morning. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. Help please, I cannot use my computer without uninstalling it completely, it takes over my monitor intermittently.

I am looking at signing up for a virtual receptionist service to take calls when I am unable to instead of the call going to voicemail. I am in their trial period right now, but cannot seem to get it to work. Ideally, I want it to try me first, then if I don't pick up, it forwards the call to the external number which was assigned to me by the service.I added a new user without a phone to my account and assigned that external number to them, then added that user to my queue. But the calls are not being sent to them when I don't pick up, it just tries me again.

Can you edit a conference call recording? The beginning of my conference call started a bit too early and there was a conversation going on that recorded. Am I able to delete this without deleting the entire webinar? If so, how?

We have three Yealink W52P base stations and six W56H cordless handsets. We also have six telephone lines. We want each handset to have its own extension and be able to communicate seamlessly throughout a large warehouse space. We expected that by linking each handset to each base station, that this would enable maximum mobility with the phones. However, when anyone calls a number, all the phones ring. They all show the same extension. Is there are way to have six extensions on the six handsets and be able to configure a call flow/pattern?

The Ring Central Desktop App (BIG R) is freezing when trying to DL a recording. I found Avast Antivirus was identifying Update.exe and Ringcentral.exe as IDP.Generic, so i have submitted to them the files, as well as created an exception at the folder and executable level. However, i am still having issues with Downloading the recordings on one machine as of right now. Has anybody seen this?

Hi,since few days I cant open the RingCentral Gilp. If I try to open i get this message:This email is already registered: ....I didnt change in my account details or my email or what ever. Can login in to my account in RingCentral but if I want open the button to RingCentral to the Glip I get a blue screen and this message.Can anyone help me?

We've had a number of issues with the program that have consumed an immense amount of our team's time (DTMF issues, callers unable to hear my team, my team being unable to hear callers) to the point that a number of team members are trying to start an internal revolt against the program's use. So, I'm hoping that the community can be a better help than support has in the past.Since migrating, we've experienced an issue with the RC Desktop phone presence not being updated to on-a-call (red bubble with no white line through it). I would like to have my operator extension ring to 2 users in a specific order. so I set up a queue and set up the Operator to ring by the queue. It doesn't seem to work it just rings by a random user. Any idea how to fix this?

I have my office hours set to 8 AM - 3 PM. However, I am part of a Support Queue for after hour emergencies. Can I & if so, how do I set it that if it is a Queue call for it to ignore the business hour settings?

Fax receipt error where the recipient has not changed the fax number, but the physical location of the faxes in their office. All RC faxes to these numbers are not being received. Please help!

I use to be able to receive calls on my desk phone and desktop/mobile app. All i had to do was turn off the Data VoIP Calling in the phone app to not receive business calls on my cell phone. Now even with the Data VoIP off calls come through, but if I'm on a current call or my personal carrier line on my cell , the current call I'm on will fail and end the call coming in. My Iphone has been doing this since the new IOS back in Sept. Is there anyway to get the app to work like it use to?
