Is anyone else seeing this error in Glip?We are having trouble enabling SMS due to a connection issue. Please restart the app and try again.The service status site shows normal.

After sending a Glip, if a phone call comes in and while on the phone a Glip comes in, Glip will freeze and need to be restarted. v19.11.1Has anyone else come across this situation?

Has something changed with the newest version of the desktop application for notifications? There used to be a little red dot that would appear on the RingCentral taskbar icon that would indicate unread messages. That is no longer the case. I've discovered that when the app is open and minimized it would then show the number of unread messages; only if running the taskbar "combine taskbar buttons" on Never. I run the taskbar with Always, hide labels and by doing so there's no indicators that there are unread messages. Am I missing something?Thank you

I am currently using Plantronics BT600 headset with the RingCentral phone app on a windows computer. Each time a call comes in, or even if I act like I am dialing a number and about to make a call, the volume jumps up, or spikes, and is very loud. It is very stressful to have the volume set at a low setting and be listening to music softly, or even nothing at all, and then THE PHONE RINGS and is so loud it makes you jump and want to throw your headphones off. It's acting as if the volume setting for calls is a completely independent, different setting than every other volume setting on the computer, RC phone app, RC, and Plantronics headset HUB. I have attempted to adjust the volume settings for each program and the computer volume mixer, but nothing seems to control the volume of interacting with the RC phone app for calls.Please please please if anyone has any suggestions for how to stop damaging my ears for 8 hours straight everyday, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Does it do any good to call the opt out number on these spam faxes? Or, does it just make matters worse?

I have a current LAN network with 20+ VVX 411 desktop phones working fine.We are trying to change to a new circuit with more bandwidth, in testing that new connection, the IP phones will not function properly.Can someone tell me, definitively, what network address or resource these phones need to be able to communicate with to function properly? Like a URL or IP Address?We are trying to configure routing on the new circuit to allow for the connectivity to work... and I am uncertain of what that is?After looking in the phone settings on a phone on the working network, my guess is:sip.ringcentral.com (199.255.120.146) , but I really need to be able to answer this question with confidence to avoiding a lot of time on the part of my network team and our internet service vendor.

When will the RC APP on my MAC be able to sync in contacts.. so we can call them. Seems like a big missing feature. The RC App on my iphone has this. Without this feature on my desktop I have to have BOTH RC Desktop app and RC App (new) HELP!

I have a large group of employees using ringcentral on a mix of hotdesk deskphone, mobile or both.I also have a large group using incontact via a hotdesk deskphone.When a colleague using ringcentral only on a hotdesk polycom wants to put a call through to an agent, it is difficult for her to tell who is on the phone and who is not. This is made especially difficult by the fact that calling an agent via ringcentral will make the phone ring for that agent whether or not they are already on a ringcentral or an incontact call.How can:1. a receptionist know who is available to take a customer call2. a manager know if their team are available or on a ringcentral callWe are a UK company of 250 users using the ringcentral/glip app on mobiles and hotdesk polycom VVX501s.

I tried to copy/snipped a screenshot/image and paste it glip and does not work. I use to be able to do this. My RingCentral/Glip was just updated to 19.11.1 so I suspect that this is broken in this version. I know the image is in clipboard because if I paste it in word/outlook, it will work.Text copy&paste is working fine.

A user of ours tried to send a text message to a client, the client didn't respond, later when he spoke to the client, the client asked him why he called him so many times, so he realized that for every text message he got a phone call instead of the text message, is anybody else experiencing this problem, or does anybody know the reason?

UK, Motor Finance, It would be good if Mobile numbers could be assigned to outbound calls - This would increase the possibility of making contact with relevant parties when calling their mobile. We base most of our communication on Mobile numbers as the primary contact number and as such most people are likely to answer a mobile number when on caller ID than a Land line.

Hi there - forgive me if this question has been asked before or needs to go to another area - but I am a new customer to RC and the only gripe I have is the fact that Missed Call notifications and Voicemail notifications have what I would say is "marketing material". For one our users -(large base) - to receive a "Earn up to $2500.00 for each business you refer to RingCentral" is obtrusive to our end users. I would think that there is a way to disable this. Please advise if there is or if this is on the radar.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get our issue resolved with "customer support". We had several individual accounts/fax lines combined into a single account, keeping all the numbers the same. Now when one of our users try to send a fax via email, we get a return message that there are too many mailboxes and to log in to the account you are not using and delete your email address there. It seems like their system is still seeing the info from the old accounts and confusing it with the new account. Every call or chat to support always starts back at square one, describing the problem, sending screen shots, etc. and getting no where.

Hello RingCentral, it's disrupting and highly unprofessional when a call comes in while I'm on a call because of all the beeping and ringing. How long before you create a feature where I can say, "If you receive this recording that means I'm on another call right now." Recordings are ruined because of the ringing and beeping. Thank you.

Hello, can someone advise me on the best way to handle a single number at a location where the employee currently on-call can use the account. If the small pool of on-call employees all had the soft-phone installed on their smartphone and then only logged into the shared account when they were on call, would that be the best (most viable) solution?Apologies in advance if this is a silly/simple question - I've inherited admin RC service with no training.

Many offices in our field turn off their fax machines over the holidays. I'd like to be able to do the same. Is there a way to temporarily disable incoming faxes for our account?

I keep having a fax fail, and it says due to there being too many pages. Does anyone know what the page limit is per fax?
