Multiple times when in a video meeting, we have had issues where if you attempt to change the background, the application crashes. Is this a known issue and how can we fix it?

When talking to clients we use a recording service, the agent calls the client, then merges them with the recording service.While merging the calls a code has to be put in (claim #) so that the recording can be pulled up at a later date.I have 1 (all other agents have no trouble) agent that has an issue with the code, when she types it in via the dial pad or using the numbers on her keyboard the numbers duplicate.No trouble with placing calls otherwiseEX: she dials 12345, but it registers as 1122334455therefore the code is rejected because it is too many digits.Has anyone seen this issue before, if so, what was the resolution?Maybe RingCentral is not the issue, but if I report the trouble to the Recording Company I can tell them I already researched the RingCentral side

I'm considering installing a polycom ATA via RingCentral to allow some of my staff to still send outgoing faxes via our old fax machine. I'd like to still have all incoming faxes go to email and NOT to the old machine. Is this possible? Anyone have this type of setup or know of how to set this up when I install my ATA?

Hello,The user can't place a call, but they can receive calls with no issues. When an outgoing call is placed the bad connection message comes up and the call is dropped. This only happens when the user is working from home, and it happens with the desktop app and web app.Now the strange part is the RC desktop & web app work fine if the user is working from the office. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that would help and it doesn't.

Let's say I place a call on hold in my office, then I walk to my associate's office and have a conversation with him. My associate wants to speak to the caller. Is there any way my associate can pick up the call holding in my office extension? Or do I need to walk back to my office and park the call or transfer the call to my associate's office? We have Yealink W56H handheld wireless phones.

The big boss wants a hardware phone in the office and a hardware phone at home. Shared Line seems like the only way to accomplish this. What problems can I expect by using a shared line for this purpose?

Hi all, could use some help with figuring out the best way to do this.Right now I have two "DigitalLine Unlimited" lines/user accounts from the former Standard plan offering (I think that's what the plan was called), and two Polycom physical desktop phones for these two lines/user accounts.I'm building out a home office where I would like to have another Polycom desktop phone for use only on the days I am working from home.This new home office Polycom phone and my current Office Polycom phone would never be in use at the same time.Can someone please help me demystify what I need to configure/add/upgrade to my account for this to work per above with respect to incoming and outgoing calling ability.Thanks so much!

This is ridiculous that RingCentral tries to load up Outlook in my Windows machine when I never configured any integration. I do not use Outlook so this prompt is a nuisance. How do I stop this from occurring?

Does RingCentral have the capability to show a message waiting indicator on multiple desk phones that are in the same Call Queue? Or even something like Visual Voicemail (since we're on ACO) where a glance at a phone can show that there is a voicemail for a call queue voicemail box. I am able to show one extension, if I send voicemail to that extensions voicemail box (not ideal), but if four users are part of a call queue, I'd expect all four users to be able to see that there are voicemails for that call queue.

I have it set to backup both calls and SMS. It's backing up the calls it seems but not the SMS. How do I fix this?

Hi, I would like to delete a team but I can't find the delete team button anywhere. I've already followed the ring central instructions saying that the button's supposed to be under team admin settings but it's not there either. The button isn't shown in any of the other teams either. Image shown below.

Just getting started using app. I've gotten 2 calls forwarded to app today - only rings once (instead of specified 6 times) and I could not answer either call. Any idea why this is happening?

So I didn't buy my phone through RingCentral but its compatible. its the Polycom VVX 410. its connected to the internet but its not working at all. What are the next steps? I am trying to port / transfer my Google Fi phone number to RingCentral. I have followed the published Google Fi instructions to initiate this, including unlocking the number from my Google Fi account. When I go to transfer the number into RingCentral for our VoiP phone service, it gives me this message "The phone number you entered cannot be transferred at this time. If you still would like to have the number work with your RingCentral service, you may forward your calls from your current number to your RingCentral account."I've contacted Google support, and they tell me it is unlocked and should be ready to go. I contacted RingCentral support, and they told me everything is fine on their end. So now I'm in this loop of not being able to transfer my number since both companies point at the other one as the issue.Note: Google did give me an account / password to transfer the number out. Please excuse my ignorance if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to send an SMS message from a third-party application using our RingCentral account?I would like our Synology NAS to be able to send SMS from our office to my personal cell phone when there is a problem with the network. In the NAS operating system (DSM 7.1), there is a feature that will push SMS messages to any phone using an SMS account. I don't think it is possible to send it through the RingCentral windows app.In order to do this, I need a URL for RingCentral's SMS service and I need to know whether it uses a GET or POST http protocol. I assume that the login and password would be the same as for my RingCentral account.Is this information I can get from RingCentral or is it not available?

First, chatting with a bot is not "Live Chat." Second, according to the website, "Live phone support for RingCentral MVP (2+ users) plans is available 24/7." I never got past the robot and then it said "live service is only available M-F." I am getting increasingly upset with this customer service, or lack of it. My question is this: If I have unlimited digital calling in the US and I don't use any international or toll-free calling, why am I automatically purchasing calling credits? Do calling credits cover faxes and SMS? And if they do cover SMS, why are SMS bundles sold separately? How much is faxing? I have been trying to figure out how to do live monitoring on Ring Central in the Supervisor area and i clicked on the no monitor part and put in my phone number in the box that popped up for Audio Connect and now i can't seem to get it to go back to blank. Does anyone know how to clear this back to its original state?

Hi,I don't found a response at the simple question : "is it possible to configure a holyday rules or calendar for all my company (a lot of sites, IVR, call queue...) ?"

There is currently no way in an IVR just have callers remain on the line to be directed to a queue. There is the time out option where after the IVR repeats three times you can send the call to an extension. We need an option to send the call to an extension if no buttons are pressed after the first time the IVR menus are played.

I work off a Google Chrome Box and have the Ring Central App for Google. Too many times I am typing a text message and my text disappears, sometimes it's just partial, sometimes the whole thing disappears (multiple times on the same text). There are no incoming calls or texts when this happens. But it is very frustrating. Any information would be appreciated. TYIA

When registering for The Campaign Registry, it was clear that, even with conversational texting, we need to provide a way to opt out of texting. If someone opts out of conversational texting, there appears to be no way to block the texting feature on a number without blocking the calling as well. Does anyone have any insight here?
