When will this be fixed: This is hurting my business.... Verizon, AT&T and Xifinty so far have not been sending text which is detrimental to my ability to perform. PLEASE FIX ASAP as this is not acceptable.

We use the Message function within RingCentral app, to message internally. If we don't register would this function be taken away or charged for?

So after an email conversation with The Campaign Registry's account manager Brandon Ramirez, he states that if SMS is not being delivered from a phone number that belongs to RingCentral to whatever carrier, then that is a problem at RingCentral, and that RC has to solve it. Brandon infers that TCR is not a gate keeper for an SMS message to be sent from RC to a carrier, in that the carrier IS NOT checking with the TCR for a GO/NOGO list until after the deadline. My site currently cannot use SMS on just one (and only) new line we ported in from Verizon in January. I am talking SMS between two RingCentral telephone numbers, in the same account, does not work to this one number, in or out. All of our other SMS from our account is working for now, though our campaign is still in a pending state from my RC admin interface. Has anyone else had any conversation with The Campaign Registry, and if so, are you receiving the same messaging? Thanks.

We are getting errors trying to text to Verizon users, saying "messsage undelivered" even though we have completed the TCR registration. Anyone else having similar problems?

Just needing clarification. The limit of 49 lines applies to all the numbers we use for our RC account. For example, we have 2 phone numbers registered with RC but really only use one of those numbers for our business. We are required to list both of those numbers. We are not required to list any of our client's phone numbers, correct?

We submitted a PDF TCR form back in January and it sat inactive for some time. Once we finally heard back, we were told something was entered incorrectly, and had to resubmit. It then sat inactive for another month, and we're now being told that we have to submit via the Admin portal and will STILL be required to wait the additional 20 business days. There's really no way to escalate/speed up these TCR requests??? It's one thing if users are failing to submit the required items by the deadline, but we are not nearly the only people who've suffered from this extremely poor rollout. I've called the support number given to me to reach the "TCR Team", and have been unable to get through for an hour now.

I keep getting reminders to register for SMS usage, but my account is not owned by a business - its my residential service.What am I supposed to do to keep using SMS (< 10 a year)?

My business uses conversational SMS — always initiated by the consumer, and never used for advertising nor any automated API. TCR documentation states implied consent is sufficient in this case, but it seems that my campaign would be rejected if I were to just rely on that?Is it sufficient to add a clause to our terms and conditions on the business’ website stating that consent to receive conversational SMS to communicate with the business is implied, and then for opting out to have both (1) a paper form available in-office for customers to fill out AND (2) customers can text “opt out” to the business’ number and we will mark their files as do-not-text?

Do I need to only submit campaigns that go through ring central or do I also need to include text campaigns that come from our Square marketing platform, and our scheduling site sends out automatic apt reminders but not from ring central. Do I just show the usage of ring central?

So Let me get this straight..I join RingCentral, pay monthly fees for however long it takes to get a TCR approved? I'm on Grasshopper now. not the greatest service, but I can sign in, get a new number and start texting all the customers and truck drivers I do business with. Why is Ring Central so Complicated?

We are a healthcare business and rely heavily on test messaging our employees who are in the field with patients. We have submitted our TCR, completed a case number, and have had no updates from Ringcentral. This has been absolutely detrimental to our communication between office and field staff. How do we get this expedited?

Do not have an EIN number as I am a solo business that operates as an independent contractor. Anyone else operate like this and able to register. Called the number for TCR support and was no help.

We are only using SMS employee to employee, we rarely use it outside of texting each other and we do not have a SMS sign up on our website. I am not sure what we are supposed to submit for approval when they do not exist within our business. We have about 5 numbers that are consistently texted on a regular basis.

Hi, I'm looking to try to develop a standard practice or policy of what to do when an employee goes on any type of leave (medical, paternity, ect). Typically our business will higher a temp employee to fill in the gap while the employee takes leave. We would like this experience to be as seamless as possible for our customers without having to change phone numbers and call trees. We would also like to make it easy for the employees and make sure temps can get old voicemails, and when the employee returns to transition everything back to them.Is there an easy way to handle these transitions? Do we need spare licenses for these purposes? Would it be best to create the temp employee their own account and forward all calls to the temp employee? Then what about voicemail sharing. Or is it easier just to change the email address on the backend to the temp employee's email and let them log in like that.Just wanted to see what other businesses

Our SMS Log under Reports is now empty. I was trying to track down a text that was received in the admin account to find out who the text was being sent to and noticed that nothing has been logged since just after midnight on the 14th.Has anyone else experienced this and how did you get them back?

Hello,I don't want Ring Central to start up automatically on my Windows 11 PC, so I removed it from the startup app settings. Yet every time I use Ring Central, it seems to put itself back in the startup settings.Normally, I'd chalk this up to a Windows problem, but Ring Central is the only app I have this problem with. How to I keep it out of my startup apps?Thanks

I have had this account and phone number for 7 years now and use this as my personal and primary line to call and text my clients. I have been using it for years.. I don't use it as a big campaign, or send out hundreds or thousands of messages at once. My clients have already agreed to talking to me with my outbound agents. Transitioning to using an opt-in will kill my responses from my clients with them thinking its a bot talking to them and not me. I will leave RingCentral if I have to use Opt-in and opt-out for this personal business line that I have been using for 7 years. Is there a way around this or am I misunderstanding this whole process?

We are currently not able to read our faxes AT ALL. NONE. They are all illegible when they hit the fax server. We are a doctors office and 24 hours of no faxes is a critical failure in our world. We are not getting much help or information from support. Has anyone had issues such as this before? We have not really had a critical system down error before this one. This is urgent to us and we are not receiving the support we would expect for such a critical part of our business.

I currently forward all my calls to my cell phone number. when I dont answer a call it goes to my cell phone voicemail. How can I make it go back to my RingCentral voicemail when I deny a call and or when I dont answer a call? Please explain the process of how to set this up. Thank you So much!

In our company we mainly user texting for confirming the order/invoice is correct. The only "consent" we say is on the phone call "okay we are about to text you your invoice please confirm it is correct" etc. What would I put in the obtaining consent box?

We never send texts, but occasionally a client will send us one or a website will send a login passcode via text to our primary number. We need to continue being able to receive texts, but have no desire or need to ever send texts. I have registered the company, but do we need a campaign? As we do not send texts, it seems we would quickly fall into the "fines" for not sending enough, and all the verbiage I have seen about having SMS getting disabled only references sending texts, but we cannot afford getting locked of receiving texts... When applying, it says our address needs to match the address from our EIN application form, (which was outside of the US at the time of applying). However when I fill out the application it does not allow me to change the country field. Is there any way to submit an application in this situation? It says if they do not match it will be rejected automatically, so I'm not sure how to fix this.

I’ve registered with TCR for my brand (my company) and a “campaign”. But I can‘t find any explanation of what a campaign is?I mostly text with clients to schedule/confirm appointments. Is that a campaign? And do I have to do something else before 3/31 in order to continue this practice?

During the Campaign setup process we stopped at this question not because of the number, but because of the 6 messages per minute threshold.Does this apply to both inbound and outbound?If a number exceeds the threshold, will they roll over? In other words, if I exceed the 6 messages in a minute threshold, will the seventh simply be delayed?We ran a report and found there were a total of 11 instances in all of last year where we exceeded that threshold. The difference between $18 and $120 is significant for us.Much thanks in advance.
