The RingCentral Glip app appears to not work well with Mac OS Catalina public release version. Specifically, when launching a RingCentral Meeting from within the App, the user will see a black screen briefly, then the entire Glip app will crash. You are able to start/join a meeting from the RC Meeting App, but not from within the unified Glip app. Do you know when Mac OS Catalina 10.15 will be supported as it is no longer in beta? Also, all RC apps should be notarized with Apple to allow them to be opened without having to allow an exception. Currently Gatekeeper will not allow you to open the RC Glip app.

I am trying to control the screen of a Mac running MacOS 10.15 Catalina. I can see the background image, but none of the open windows. I can move the mouse and grab windows and move them around which is seen on the remote computer, but I can't see what I am doing on the host computer. I think this is related to the Screen Recording security in Privacy, but Meetings is not adding itself to that feature and I can't seem to manually add it. How can I get full control of a users computer running Catalina?

I am able to setup a meeting but when attempt to send it to recipientsit shows a dialog box with the message " The item could not be found"I end up having to copy the invite info and emailing separately and it won't show onthe calendar.

Every morning first thing my team has a meeting, and I'm not always quite done with my waking up routines and able to traverse through Outlook to find the meeting link and remember to tap "use internet audio" after the meeting host shows up, which is a pain. Is there a way to create a home screen shortcut so I'm tossed straight into my daily meeting without the need to hunt for unbookmarkable links or choose the type of audio? Thanks.

In Ringcentral meetings, when on a video call with other staff members connected through Glip video call and I share my screen, the participant can only see a black screen. However when I initiate a meeting from Ringcentral meetings by sending a link, I don't have this issue. Is there a setting I'm missing? I seem to be the only one having this issue.

Recently the Chinese government cut off Zoom services for the entire country. Since then, our people in China can't use RingCentral Meetings either, since they are using Zoom's services. Has anyone figured out how to make it work? We have tried VPN, alternative DNS, and other things with no luck.

I need someone beside the Host of a Meeting to be able to control the attendees mic and cameras and record. I know Zoom offers this as a feature, but it doesn't seem to be available in RingCentral Meetings. This is a critical feature for producing larger, professional meetings, and is sorely missed. Is there a way to add this feature individually or to the RC Meetings app on a whole?

When you add RingCentral dial-in information for a new meeting invitation, RingCentral overwrites all the meeting invitation content and sends the default layout without any opportunity to cancel. The attendees end up getting incomplete info and you have to send a follow-up email to everyone.There has to be a way to disable this.

I have Ringcentral installed on my MacBook as its my companies preferred choice for telephone calls and online meetings. On the weekend I was asked to host a personal (non work) meeting and I was asked to used Zoom. I set Zoom up and hosted a meeting. Now when I go to use my Ringcentral Meeting ID for my regular work meetings I get an error message in Ringcentral stating: "Leave meeting: This Meeting ID is not valid. Please check and try again" and a box to click that states 'Leave'. Its so frustrating that a) this happened as a result of using Zoom and b) the Ringcentral message is so unhelpful - it gives me literally no information or option as to how to fix it

What is the the impact of changing your PMI on previously scheduled or recurring meetings? Is it accurate that once you change your PMI, any meetings previously scheduled and/or recurring with the original PMI embedded will no longer be available? Can I have multiple meetings scheduled each with a different PMI that are still valid meetings?

Has anyone else run into issues recently with RingCentral Meetings/RingCentral Meetings Embedded on OSX where the mic continually resets to zero? Not sure when this started but it's happening on a few different models.So far we've tried:Deleted p-lists and reinstalledVerified application is permitted microphone accessTurned on original soundUninstalled RingCentral Meetings and just used RingCentral Meetings embeddedFeel like this just started within the last few weeks and was not an issue originally with Mojave. My hunch was some kind of internal echo cancellation but that doesn't seem configurable and it would seem like turning on Original sound should circumvent that.Any thoughts would be appreciated. We are currently using the USB MXL microphone with Large Meetings for Rooms. The quality is good but you hear all noises in the room instead of just the presenter. I 'm searching for a compatible wireless microphone/s that could be easily moved depending on where the presenter is.

Using PTZ Optics camera with both SDI and HDMI outputs running to an internal DecLink card. But no video in the RingCentral Meetings app. I can see the video just fine in the DecLink included video application. But it won't work in RC Mettings.

My company has been using RingCentral Meetings for 2 years. It was formerly an AT&T Office at Hand product of RingCentral, but O@H was defunct on 5/24/19 and replaced with just plain RingCentral Meetings. Before the defunct, I never had Google ask my permission to launch, schedule or join a meeting. Now, it does and it's annoying. I have spoken with RC and they tell me it's a Google issue, since my company uses Google for email and calendar. Please help!

I am looking for the ability to broadcast a meeting and have one half of a display dedicated to the presenter/ speaker and the other half dedicated to a presentation. Is there any way to pull this off?

Is there a plan to have your presence status in Glip change to Busy when in a RC meeting, or even adding a new presence status for "In a Meeting"?

I just tried to have a conference call with some colleagues in our London office. I dialed in using our local conference number and they used the UK number, and even though we had both dialed in, we were all placed on hold and the conference never opened up. and I made sure to check out Enable Join Before Host, so it shouldn't have anything to do with using the host code.WHAT IS HAPPENING?

I am using SharePoint to set up a virtual school with individual SP sites each having a meeting room(s). I want to have the class rooms available whenever or at least on a schedule so that people can join website then join the class. Seems like this requires a third-party host with a link in the SP site and don't think RC can do that. Maybe the students can all join a MS Team group from within the SP site and then use the Teams integration with RC Meetings or RC Rooms to host. I would rather embed the RC Meetings/Rooms app right into my SP site. What are the technically possible options here?Thanks in advance.

Hello,We noticed that we don't have video and voice calling icons on glip conversations as you can see from below link.http://glbl.me/is4Some of us who haven't logged out from older version still have the icon but can't make any call.When the call starts it can not be cancelled on the desktop app and when you logged out to drop the call, Glip updates itself and calling icon is no longer there.I have the video calling option on iPhone app but I can't place a call on there too. Hi I'm seeing an issue with RingCentral Meetings where the app can't seem to recognize the laptops camera feed ever since I upgraded to MacOS Mojave I have noticed this issue. Is there anyone who has seen similar?

I know it's likely Zoom's fault but there's an EXE for the new meetings, I need the MSI to deploy to staff.

If I try to open a meeting link or join via the Meetings site, and Safari is my default browser, it just downloads a new installer instead of joining the meeting. It works fine when I'm using Chrome. This seems to be related to the security issue that was patched in the last update.I tried clicking on the probable solutions link, but it gives invalid instructions:"Allow Plug-ins" may have been an option in prior versions of Safari, but it no longer is.I looked in Websites > Plug-ins, but there is no RingCentral Meetings plug-in. Should I have one?

I know that recently Apple sent out that silent update to fix the webcam security blog. It hit my computer during the weekend. I have pent hours online trying to look for a fix but I couldn't. So my question is, if there is any fix out that works for us Mac users affected by this? It sucks not being able to participate in meetings anymore without my camera.
