I have an app in Production mode and wish to use it to make RingOut calls from different extensions. I use my credentials (Super Admin) for my app.I want the app to be able to do Ringout calls from other extensions in my account. In the URL I use https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/<extId>/ring-out.However, I get an error: CMN-426 Feature [RingOut] is not available for extension IDPlease advise how to get the app to work for all users with phone numbers in my account. Can I not just use my credentials to make calls from any extension?BTW I use JWT Auth Flow

Hi,I'm new to ringcentral, to testout the softphone with ringcentral sandbox credentials, I tried calling my ringcentral phone number +16502420059 using another phone number, but the softphone doesn't ring at all and the call goes to missed calls with voice note.

I have logitech usb wired headsets and multiple users with dell laptops that constantly have the microphone cut out randomly on them. I noticed that after this happens, that the system files are corrupted. I run a sfc/ scannow after this happens and each time the scan finds corrupted files and repairs them. After rebooting, the microphone works again. Is there a solution that would fix this permanently? I have started using other brands and types of headsets and they do not have this issue.

We have two accounts with RingCentral - one with a local Florida number and another account with an 877 number as the account number. Is there a way that we can change our number to a local number?

Is there a way to save the call recordings in a specified S3 bucket instead of using the RC servers? Tried looking at the API docs but couldnt find it ( https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/voice/call-log/recordings ).Or would the best way be to write software that downloads the recording after generated and uploads it. How do we know if our number was permanently blocked by a carrier?? Despite the deadline extension, we are not able to send texts anymore.

I am testing my app in the Sandbox and trying to capture a detailed list of all extensions on my account. I am an admin.URL: https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension?page=1&perPage=50I only capture details for my extension. Looking to capture all extensions. Is this limited in the Sandbox or is there something else I should do?

After migrating to RingCentral, we didn't initially bring all of our locations onto the platform until afterwards. Since then, we have had to migrate fax lines as well. In our original migration, we had our fax ATAs (Obi302) all set up as limited extensions to save money since their only purpose is to send a fax to a machine to print. The ones that were "out of the box" so to speak are all working as limited extensions, but the ones we have been configuring are not working. They are able to send out faxes, but not receive them. I have held up the configurations side by side to see the issue but they are mirrored. What do I need to do? Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that the feature is on the app level but allowing individuals the ability to turn on and off the auto feature is a horrible idea. Now that more and more people are working from home this is something that can be abused by sales or negligence by customer service. As an admin we do not the ability to block this feature nor can we track it to see who has it on. Please help as soon as possible.

When I started the form Apply for Production, I found a field named "Display Name".Q) What is the difference between App Name and Display Name?I don't expect this app to be public at all. And I have a concern, that if I chose choose a poor name, I won't be able to change it.I'd like to choose the same name as I did for the App Name.

I am generating ample no of request past 7 days for a week. I am sending SMS also calling call log api. But still i see the following for my graduation requirement. If you check my analytics for past 7 days you see many request generated. Please let me know if i have missed any thing.

If we have multiple numbers, and each number is associated with a different department, the admin account is getting text messages from all numbers into one large thread. How can we separate the text messages based on number texted, such us a drop down or something?

When inviting clients to meetings, they keep getting invalid meeting ID errors and are unable to join. They do not have zoom installed on their computer so there's no conflict there, all clients do have the RC app downloaded to their device as well. I'm unsure what is going on, please help!

I was able to make RingOut using the SDK on sandbox. My app just got approved on prod. I was able to authenticate the request, received both access token and refresh token. However, when I actually make the call, my VOIP phone never rang. Based on other posts it looks like I might need someone to enable SMS for my sandbox account?+14242307403 is the sandbox number

Anyone else having this issue? I can not SMS a link or an email address. This is critical to my business....

Earlier this week, some SMS messages started bouncing with a "Message not sent" indicator. Only ones containing an email address or URL were bouncing. All others worked fine.RingCentral Support informs us this content is no longer allowed, per RC policy.Is anyone else affected by this?

Hello,We are currently working on a project that involves implementing reactions in RingCentral Team Messaging. I have been using the API to fetch message data, but I noticed that the API response does not include any information about message reactions.I could not find any information about reactions in the API response or the reference documentation. I noticed there is a field named `iconEmoji` in the API reference, but I am unsure if it is related to reactions.My questions are:Is the `iconEmoji` field related to message reactions in any way?Is there an endpoint or method in the RingCentral API to retrieve reaction data for messages in team messaging?If the API does not currently support reactions, do you have any plans to add support for them in the future?I would greatly appreciate any guidance or insights you can provide on this matter. I'm thinking that I'm either using the wrong trigger or the wrong account. To my mind, 'call ended' would encompass all calls made to that account because that is how it worked on similar zaps that I have built. I'm also uncertain if the account is correct but I have tried switching to the owner account as well and not had any success.

Hello,I am trying to implement rich text to the messages presented on my app's frontend (bold, italic, strikethrough, increase/decrease indent, bulleted/numbered list) by converting message body text received through RingCentral into html strings.I am receiving message text in a tweaked type of Markdown in my get requests, which I see is called Mini Markdown made by RingCentral.These message strings are very tricky to convert into HTML using typical libraries for that, such as markdown-it, marked, showdown etc. because of the specific deviations from Markdown conventions in these message body strings I'm receiving through RingCentral API. I get a lot of bugs and have to customise logic in most rich text scenarios.For example, a bulleted list whose indentation is increased by the 'Increase indent' button in RingCentral app looks like this:

I signed up for Ringcentral to utilize this as an all in one solution for a new business. Now I am being told I can't text customers as I would with a standard cell phone without obtaining consent.So the scenario that I am speaking with my customer and I decide to text them something afterwords is not acceptable according to the TCR.Ive wasted a few months waiting for SMS usage only to be met with this. Pretty frustrating that this money has been wasted.
